I was expecting some solution not catalogue
I think buying Dr.Murad's book is wast of money and time.I was expecting some solution to the wrinkles by buying the book. But is only a catalogue to Murad's products he sell.You have to a buy a chain of products mentioned in the book.

I loved it!
I loved this book--it was easy to understand and made a lot of sense. Yes, Dr. Murad is pushing his own product line, and yes, his products are rather costly. However, you get what you pay for, and I don't mind paying the extra money for something that WORKS. His products are the best I have ever used, and since I am not willing to go under the knife to make myself look younger, I will gladly shell out the extra money to improve the appearance of my skin. I have tried many, many skin care products and by far this is the best. So really, if you aren't willing to buy his products this book isn't worth your time and money. But if you want to see dramatic changes in your skin and don't mind paying extra for it then by all means purchase this book!

I would also like to address the comments made by a few others saying that the positive comments must have been made by employees of Dr. Murad's company: I can assure you I am the farthest thing from an employee of his there could be. I am a 40 year old stay-at-home mom who is trying to control not only adult acne, but signs of aging as well. No one has paid me to make this review, I just want to share with others my experience with this skin care line. Besides, all their products come with a 100% money back guarantee; if you decide the products just aren't worth the money then you can return them. You can't do that with a bottle of Oil of Olay.

An esthetician's viewpoint....
There is a lot of useful information in this book; unfortunately, Dr. Murad promotes HIS products at the expense of others. That said, this book was written by Dr. Murad and is "The Murad Method" for ageless skin. I am sure the folks who sell his line find this book helpful to those purchasing his products.

It does work
I found that the book helped break down something so complicated. When you think about all that is out there regarding skin. Q10 this and peptide that. I did not want to do botox or anything like that. I needed something that was clear. While I am not following the diet I have found great results. My skin is smoother, I don't look my age and I love it! It was really an easy commitment to make.

Don't waste your money
This is basically a commercial pitch for Dr. Murad's spas and products. Unless you are planning on buying his regime, he gives very, very scant information about how you could accomplish the program using other, less expensive products.
Don't expect an easy how-to giving you day by day advice of supplements and skin care. It's not here. I decided to buy this based on other's good reviews. Now I'm thinking that they were written by employees. I was very disappointed.

Didn't Work for me
Another of Perricone's products that did not work in my household. We all tried it and found the products expensive and not that effective.

Internal skin care

If you are still confused about healthy skin and nutrition, this is a good, down-to-earth book for introducing the novice to internal skin care. For the people who still think that vitamin C is only good for curing scurvy, The Wrinkle Cure is enlightening to the importance of the right nutrients for healthy, youthful skin.

I liked the simple explanations why certain nutrients work and the studies surrounding the use of these nutrients. It certainly beats the pants off of college and university text books. Much of the information is common knowledge around the health wise crowd. Well-written.

Skin Rejuvenation
Over the years I've read most of Dr. Perricone's amazing books. He really is ahead of his time and "The Wrinkle Cure" was his first book so I thought I'd read it too. While some of the information in this book appears in his more recent books it is still helpful and provides excellent information on skin rejuvenation at the most basic level.

If you have crow's feet, upper lip lines, dark under-eye shadows, jowls, sagging skin, enlarged pores, acne scars or dull skin then this tiny book can show you the way to radiant youthful skin. This book is still relevant almost ten years after it was first published. Dr. Perricone sees wrinkled skin as a disease you can fight and gives you the knowledge you need to combat aging skin.

"The Wrinkle Cure" also explains the biology behind Dr. Perricone's beliefs. He explains how wrinkles actually form and explains the topic of free radicals especially well. It is helpful to also know that skin creams with collagen in them are ineffective because the collagen molecule is too large to penetrate the skin.

This book discusses the importance of alpha lipoic acid, DMAE, hyaluronic acid, Coenzyme Q 10 and Pycnogenol. It also talks about how vitamin C ester boosts collegen production. Along the way you will also discover the secret of Cleopatra's milk baths and why sugar accelerates the aging process. Unlike most doctors Dr. Perricone is in favor of daily supplements.

If you really want to see improvements in your skin's health then I can recommend this book highly. I've been following Dr. Perricone's advice for years and have noticed my skin is clearer, wrinkle-free and more radiant.

Easy to Understand and Apply!
As a man it is tough to find out about skin care since most of the skin care products are geared towards women. I have been blessed with good skin, but live in Arizona. The sun and dryness are ruthless if one doesn't use the right lotions and take the proper skin care steps.

The Wrinkle Cure is a clear, concise and useful book on how to take care of our skin and turn back the clock. There are great sketches and easy to understand explanations that enhance the material. Dr Perricone taught me a great deal about my skin and how to take care of it even better than I was doing.

Perricone goes into detail about which foods, supplements and vitamins are best for proper skin care and the amounts to be used for various skin conditions. He backs up the information with Case Studies for the reader to understand practical applications.

This is an excellent book for any man or woman one who desires great skin!

What a great book! The suppliments are great and they all make sense. Many people have said they have heard it all before and at the same time call Dr. Perricone a shister of some sort. There are good/bad carbs, right? Vitimin C is good for you, right? (I know some naysayers are screaming, NO!) Look folks, Dr. Perricone can sell the listed suppliments for as much as he wants. I got them all at Wal-Mart for a few bucks a bottle. Use your common sense. If you already know it all, stay away from Amazon because there is obviously nothing you can learn here. If you think this book is worth the few dollars it costs, buy it...unless you know it all of course.

I love this movie and wanted to get it for my daughter because i own the wrinkles dolls, but the seller had said that it was in good condition and when i recieved i was very upset! It was broken at the top so i had to tape it and now it is not very clear i will never buy from this seller again!

Perfect kids movie
I grew up watching this and now that I'm an adult, I can still honestly say I love this movie. I play it for the kids I babysit and when I have kids I will play it for them. This movie is super.

A Great Love for the Wrinkles
I grew up watching this movie and to this day I am always mesmorized by the sheer imagation of the movie. Amy, a girl having troulbe writing a poem for school, talks with her stuffed animal pal, Wrinkles. To the joy of Amy, Wrinkles comes alive and brings his family to help the distressed girl. Mostly packed with high excitment music there is one slow-paced and meaningful song. I believe that to be the only real down and not so enjoyable part of the movie, but that is my opinon. I don't think most adults would appreciate the creative fun of the movie though kids will find it a fantastic and incredible time.

Really like these
What a wonderful value for such nice sheets. They are so comfortable. I love the color (chocolate). The only problem is that with the darker color, fuzzies show up so easy.

nice but a little thin
I ordered a queen size for my king bed because I have an European Tempurpedic mattress of only 9".
The fixed sheet though has such deep pockets that it is too large for my mattress.
Funny - it is very soft to the touch of your hands - but somehow it is a little rough to the touch of your face...
It is a little thin - when I tighten it around my mattress I sometime fear of tearing it.
But it's a fair price. Next time I would buy a thicker fabric.

Very Disappointed
I have had great luck with trusting the online rating system for products and I usually am very satisfied. However, as another reviewer said, "these sheets suck". They are very thin and not that soft. It feels like sleeping with a sheer drape. I know many people gave these sheets high reviews and that may be why they are a bestseller but for me the bottom line is, they are very thin and not that soft. Also, my wife agrees with everything in this review so count this as 2 negative reviews.

Amazing Grace Cream
This cream smells wonderful and does a great job at making my skin look great. I used to have bad skin and this does not flare it up whatsoever. I have tried other creams, more expensive and Im sticking with this one. I even signed up for the every 2 month shipping program-great deal.

I am a little disappointed
I am 29 years of age and I truly was hoping that this product will work at leat ok based on other reviews. I was not expecting a miracle, but at least some mild results, but I was truly disappointed. I purchased this derma e peptides and the night version too; but it did not work. It has some kind of consistency that "temporarily" gives the impresion that is working, but soon I found out that it was an illusion. It seems to cover some mild wrinkles but the effect is gone in probably two hours (I can obtain this result with good makeup). Oh well, good luck to all of you, I am sure that there must be something out there I just have to keep trying!

Good Moisturizer
This product is a really good moisturizer. It left my skin soft and I like the scent but I didn't notice a difference in my wrinkles after 3 months of use. I didn't order it again.

Something's Happening
I'm 56 and have been a sun lover and outdoor person my whole life but as you can imagine it took its tole on my skin. Since using this product I have decreased the deepest lines and wrinkles and have obliterated the lesser wrinkles. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because I don't think any cream can take it all away.

Two weeks. Can't tell yet
I bought the product after all the rave reviews. Honestly I can't tell if it's working or not. I read somewhere (after buying this product) that castor oil is great (along with other natural products) and I tried that, getting better results. (It doesn't leave your skin oily either). So I think I will stick with that since it's cheaper and the results are faster. Nothing against this product though.

The best.
This is the best. I am a fanatic about my skin. I am also a fan of La Mer and gladly spend the $130 per jar, but I think of that as a true moisturizer and not really corrective. With this ROC deep wrinkle daily moisturizer you get visible results with religious use. (Of course, the idea that you can fix a deep wrinkle is stupid, so if you are 28 - 35 and thinking you need to take charge of your skin, buy this now. You need to start preventing the worst wrinkles with this, and not try to solve it later.) The tube is small, but you don't need to use a lot to get good coverage. I think it's actually quite a good value. I use it on my face, hands, neck and chest - where damage occurs - and for the rest of my body, I use Lubriderm which is cheap and effective. I just wish Amazon could keep this in stock. My local drugstore is also often out of stock. This stuff must have a cult-like following.

this stuff is amazing!
I started to notice a few trouble areas around my eyes, forehead, and frown lines so I searched for an anti-aging product to use and settled on this one. I am truly amazed! In two weeks it took care of everything, seriously. I am only 30 so the areas were very minor but it is still amazing. Even better, I have had a pretty nasty spider bite scar on my neck for the past few years that always drives me crazy because it is very noticeable (very red and large, it looks like a giant pimple at all times), it has shrunk and is not red anymore at all. I could not be happier about this, I have tried so many creams to try to make the scar less noticeable. All in all, I love this cream!

no miracles but good
I don't expect miracles from any wrinkle cream. This one is light, has a hint of a slight flowery scent, seems to help a bit with acne and wrinkles. For the price, satisfied with results.

My new night cream!
I've been using this cream for some time now and I can attest that it works! I'm approaching 60 so I have my share of wrinkles. The area I'm particularly impressed with is the chest area. I don't go in the sun a lot because I'm very fair skinned, but over the years I've been to my share of soccer & baseball games with my sons. I always had make-up on at games that had SPF protection so my face has faired better. But the exposed chest area has noticeably wrinkled over the years. It's hardly noticeable anymore since I've been using Roc. I had been using an expensive department store brand (which also worked well), but for about 1/10 the cost, I'll stay with Roc. I have not used it around the eye area as some have mentioned. I wouldn't even consider that. There are other products for the eye area.

I buy this when it's on sale, well worth it.
I wait till this is even cheaper then the approximate $21.00 price of today. I love it and try to use it every night. It does make a difference and helps your wrinkles lessen and you look younger. I have been using RoC for about a year and there is a noticeable difference.

Noticing some help...
I haven't been using this very long but I am noticing some change...the lines in my forehead are not as noticeable, I don't know how much better they will get with continued use, but I look forward to finding out.

Olay makes my skin look better.
It's not a miracle but I feel like it has helped some and my skin looks better than before.

This stuff works!
I'm a longtime Olay user but was still skeptical of how good the Pro-X stuff was. This was incredible! I have a deep furrow between my brows and the usual forehead lines and crow's feet. The lines have filled out and are barely noticeable. The furrow is half what it was a month ago. Now I'm focusing on the crow's feet. You have to be diligent - morning and night - but it really works.

Great product/Great price
I am 37 years old. I bought the Pro X Deep Wrinkle Treatment about a month and half ago. I have been using it on a daily basis in the morning and evening on my frown line and my laugh lines. Along with this product, I also used the Olay anti wrinkle replenishing night cream overnight along with drinking alot of water daily and taking vitamins for my skin. I have seen a great difference. The frown line between my eyebrows are almost gone, and the laugh lines are less noticable. I love this product. I feel so much younger and better about myself. I am ordering more today, but I also plan to use these products for a lifetime.

It's not deep wrinkle remover, but I like it.
I'm at the age where the only way to remove wrinkles from my face would be to exchange my head for some willing 20-year-old's. Having said that, I still continue trying to at least keep the deep wrinkles from getting deeper and I think this product may help with that. I've been an Oil of Olay user since the time when Oil of Olay was just Oil of Olay and you didn't have to choose among Age-defying, Total Effects, Regenerist, Pro-X, etc. And I still like their products. For the money, you can't beat Olay age-defying daily renewal cream, regenerist daily regenerating serum and this Pro-X wrinkle treatment.

Theology over Reality
When students say they've bought this book, I urge them to return it ASAP. The timeless and persuasive beauty of Hogarth's pencil technique blinds people to a critical flaw: He's making this stuff up.

The fact that he uses his own non-standard terminology is not in itself a flaw. But it does highlight the fact that he is proceeding from his own rather idiosyncratic take on things, his hunches and habits, rather than any overview of other books on the subject--much less any reference to reality. He makes up his own language for folds, much as he makes up the anatomy in his more famous book. These books are mostly useless because they only teach you to draw (and talk) like Burne Hogarth.

Don't believe me? Consider the first thing that student artists grasp when they are made to draw folds AS PHYSICAL OBJECTS: folds are continuous raised forms alternating with valleys or plains. But on the cover of this book you can see Hogarth fudging that vital figure-ground relationship like a lazy first-year art student. Look at the dotted arrow closest to the flattened man's right foot (near left edge of cover). The dotted arrow-line is rooted on a line that starts out describing the LEFT side of a roll yet finishes, on the upper surface of the pantleg, defining the RIGHT edge of a roll.

This doesn't occur in reality, not now nor at any time in the history of clothing, yet the same figure-ground confusion is repeated throughout in this drawing, least subtly in the right armpit, where Hogarth is decidedly drawing pretty lines without a thought to what they describe. Which parts are raised folds and which the depressions between? Who knows?

Jack Hamm's classic book Drawing the Head and Figure (Perigee) is infinitely more useful because it's rooted in Hamm's own independent, reality-tested observations rather than Hogarthian fantasia.

Sounded boring. I was wrong.
A book about wrinkles sounds boring. I was a little apprehensive when I ordered the book, but my worries were for not. This book was very useful, and even if I wasn't working on my wrinkles it would still be a good reference book on costumes, and dress. The artwork is beautiful~!
The wrinkles are a little exaggerated, but that's the good part. So you notice them and remember them when drawing from memory.

A great resource for line drawing
This book is not going to help you with photorealism. It is not going to deliver step-by-step instructions for duplicating a certain image. It is, essentially, a gallery of line work alongside a commentary to help break down the artist's vision into a procedure you will be able to apply in your own work and your own style, whatever that may be. You don't have to draw like Hogarth or even care for his style to find value in his thought process, which is really what this book is intended to teach.

And yes, clothes really are that wrinkly. Here, Hogarth works with line weight and crosshatching, which doesn't lend itself to subtlety. If you traced every wrinkle from a photograph, you'd end up with about the same effect. Most line drawings deliberately leave out the finer details, but here they are included to instruct.

Hogarth presents a process and examples of its use. It's up to you to turn it into art.

Not so good
I have owned this book for years. . .not sure why I have kept it because every time I pull it out I am disappointed. The wrinkles are over exaggerated as are the figures themselves. Perhaps that is the point, but I don't get it. Not a good book for me.

Great Book by Hogarth, Just Not Great for Art Instruction
I'd long realized I needed some help with wrinkles. If you've got a model then everything's easy, but if you're doing a bunch of drawings and can't spare time to research each figure, as when doing comics, or when doing an action figure it helps to know what you're doing. I'd always felt this was a personal weakness, and had been looking for a book on this topic for a long time. Then this book appeared. As far as I know, this is still pretty much it. I'm a big fan of Hogarth's contributions to popular culture, so I'm happy just to have a book of his work (I think I have them all). But this book is minimally useful for its stated purpose. I confess I haven't read it in much detail, so I can't blame it on Hogarth's writing. But this book seems to me to be more theoretical than practical. I hope some one will someday produce a book with series of figures in a variety of actions. Such books exist, though usually the model is nude. In the one exception I've found some genius has decided to "improve" the black and white photos by colorizing them, almost completely obscuring the wrinkles.

So, I can't recommend this book solely for its art instruction. I WILL recommend as being the work of one of this country's great comics pioneers.
