Ibex Men's Arrivee Cycling Bib Short,Black,Large
Its a given that youre going to sweat on your ride, and that sweat plus synthetic bib-short material is a stinky combo. Luckily Ibex made the Arrivee Cycling Bib Short with merino wool, which naturally blocks odor and regulates your temperature. To be more exact, merino, nylon, and spandex combine for the bottom of this bib short, and polyester and spandex take over on the seat and inner thigh.Product Features Material: [Bib] 100% wool mesh; [Short] 84% merino wool, 11% nylon, 6% spandex; [Butt & Inner Thigh] 87% polyester, 13% spandex Inseam: [S] 9in (22.8cm); [M] 9.5in (24cm); [L] 10in (25cm); [XL] 10.5in (26.6cm) Chamois: 8mm, antimicrobial Bib: Yes Recommended Use: Road biking, long rides

Excellent quality and comfort
These shorts lived up to my expectations of Ibex for good quality products. The fit was as expected and they are a great short for long rides, both mountain or road riding.

excellent gloves
these mitts fit as advertised and they provide excellent cushioning. they're lightweight and look great.
my final review will be in how they hold up over time. so far, i have zero complaints.
Bada$$ gloves
I have gone through 3 pairs of cycling gloves recently. These gloves are excellent, they are durable and provide excellent comfort for long rides. I would recommend this buy.
Really good, comfortable glove- I hope it doesn't tear...
I have used these gloves now for about two weeks, and I really like these gloves. That said, these gloves don't seem like they will stand up to my daily commute for long. I hope that I am wrong; The gloves are very comfortable, they fit well on my hands, (I have XL hands), I love the pad on the thumb to wipe away sweat, and the padding on the palm is in all the right places. I just don't have much confidence that these gloves will last all that long with my daily commute. Other gloves I have used have split along seams after wearing them for a while, and I think these gloves are next in line.
Ibex Men's El Fito 3/4 Cycling Short,Black,Medium
Hey, El Guapo, put on the Ibex Men's El Fito 3/4 Knicker Pant and learn what riding in comfort really means. Super soft merino wool pulls moisture away from your skin and to the exterior of the pant, making evaporation easy. Climawool Lite on the knees sheds water and deflects wind, and a seamless liquicell chamois prevents chafing and softens your seat on the burliest rides. The US-made Ibex El Fito Pant uses 13-panel construction to ensure your movement never gets restricted.Product Features Material: [Body] 92% merino wool, 6% nylon, 2% lycra; [Seat & back legs] 87% polyester, 13% spandex; [Knee] Climawool Lite softshell Inseam: [Small] 17.75in (45cm); [Med] 18.25in (46.4cm); [Lg] 18.75in (47.6cm); [XL] 19.25 (48.9cm) Chamois: Liquicell Bib: No Pockets: None Recommended Use: Road biking, long rides Manufacturer Warranty: Lifetime Country of Origin: China

Tiny little hat
The picture makes this look like a hat with some substance to it. It's not. It's a tiny little hat that could basically fit in a small child's pocket. If your head is even slightly larger than average, this hat will look silly on you.
Ibex Men's Indie Short Sleeve Cycling Jersey,Lava,Large
You just washed your synthetic bike jersey, but the smell-test still makes you feel like faintingwhat the hell? The Ibex Indie Cycling Jersey, however, passes the smell-test right after a tough ride (and before a wash). The soft merino wool naturally blocks odor and lets excess heat slip out before it turns into sweat. The form fit reduces bulk and the solid color brings a welcome relief from crazy-design, day-glo jerseys.Product Features Material: New Zealand merino wool, 195g / m2 Pockets: 3 Back Zip: 12in (30cm) Recommended Use: Biking

Ibex Women's Giro Short Sleeve Cycling Jersey,Black,Small
The magic of the merino wool in the Ibex Womens Giro Cycling Jersey is in its abilities to naturally block odor, insulate, and transfer excess heat before it turns into sweat. The mid-weight, soft merino wool performs season after season, unlike synthetic jerseys that have wash-out odor treatments. The form fit eliminates bulk and a front zipper helps dump heat quickly.Product Features Material: New Zealand merino wool (240g / m2) Pockets: 2 Zippered back Zip: 7in (17.7cm) Recommended Use: Riding, commuting, cruising

Somewhat disappointing
I did not have the sizing issue other reviewers had but I did find that these had thin and oddly placed padding. I feel like most of the time my hands are in a position where my weight is between the pads on the glove.
Unlike some reviewers who liked the loops, I find the loops drive me nuts while I am riding, especially on a trainer where I don't have traffic/road/views to distract me. The loops on mine go higher than the glove so I feel the loops on my hands. I don't know how to describe it but it feels weird. I am seriously considering doing some creative surgery to remove the loops.
OK gloves, but sizing is wacky and padding is kinda thin
These are OK gloves. The sizing is completely wrong - I am a 6-foot tall man with average-size hands for my size, but the XXL size (the very largest size) BARELY fits my hands - I struggle to get these gloves on. Good luck if you want to wear these with thin glove-liners for marginal temperatures.
Fortunately, the gloves have loops sewn into the fingers that make them much easier to remove. Otherwise, I could not possibly remove these gloves without inverting them.
The only thing I noticed that might qualify these gloves for XXL sizing is the very long thumb, which extends well beyond my thumb joint (and feels really strange).
The padding is well-placed, but rather thin. I did not notice any improvement over my former, non-padded gloves. I think the palm would give good protection in the event of a fall.
The Velcro strap is against the bottom wrist. I prefer the closure to be against the top of the hand - the wrist is more sensitive, and therefore the discontinuity of the closure joint is more noticeable.
In XXL size, the only color available on Amazon was black (with tiny reflective accents). I would have preferred one of the brighter color schemes.
I would recommend these gloves only to someone with small hands, who could hope for a proper fit and benefit from a wider variety of color choices.
nice glove!
These are probably the nicest gloves I've used. I bought them to replace my old Trek gloves which served me well. They have even found a new life as I now wear them while I cut the lawn! The things I like most about the Serfas gloves is the comfort, the fit, and most importantly that little spot on your thumb that constantly chaffes against your brake handle and the glove itself. I hate that! I've used another pair of gloves that chaffed so badly that I even started bleeding from my thumb! Not too cool on a 210 mile tour. I sent them back, dried blood and all, to the catalog company where I bought them. A detail that I find myself using are the removal loops. While I do have slender fingers these gloves do probably fit a little tightly in the fingers. I find no problems with glove removal by simply using the loops. So hey, if you want a good glove that's suitable for touring look no further, you've found them with the Serfas Zen.
Buyer beware
These cycling gloves are ridiculously small. I ordered the men's x-large size but can't begin to get my hand in the gloves. They do fit my 10 year old daughter and my spouse who typically gets a medium size glove. They don't appear to be all that well padded or constructed either.
Great Gloves
I have been using these for riding for a couple of weeks, though I saw the rewards of riding with gloves immediately. The pads on the gloves are extremely comfortable and a must for long rides. They breath well and the terry cloth thumb can be helpful for wiping sweat away. I have thin fingers and it's usually hard to find gloves that fit well around the fingers, but the smalls fit great on me and don't leave a lot of extra slack material. I have yet to find a flaw with these gloves, they're even easy to clean.
I would, am, recommending these gloves.

Worst of both worlds
If you're looking for a pair of shorts for biking and running don't buy these.
I've been wearing these while training 6 days a week for the last couple of months while training this winter for a 70.3. Most of my riding has been on spin bikes and the padding doesn't help at all even with the wide comfortable seats on the bikes. The padding actually feels rougher than the straight compression shorts I was wearing. And then when I get off the bike to run--after a couple of miles they start to chafe in exactly the place they should be adding comfort.
I've really tried to give them a chance, and they aren't horrible; it's just annoying to find a chafed up spot at the end of a not too long workout (and for about $50 they probably should do more).
/ I've also taken care of them as recommended and they're properly sized.
// I know all the cool kids wear combo swim/bike/running clothes, but I'm thinking I'll just wear a proper pair of bike shorts and then take the extra 30 seconds at T2 to change into running shorts for the run.
Good Tri Shorts - Sizing Runs Smaller Than Normal
These Tri shorts are good quality Tri shorts that will last many years. Beware: the sizing runs slightly smaller than normal. I am 6ft 3in and weigh 220 pounds and the size XL feels a tad too small on my waist (size 38) and on my thighs. I just ordered a second pair size XXL and will keep the size XL as well. The size XL will be usable, but they feel slightly small. Have a great workout !!
Best Tri Shorts yet!
Third pair of tri shorts that I've owned: My first being some Sugoi's which were to thick on the padding and a little awkward to run in. My second being some TYR "Splice Male 9" Race Shorts" which had to thin of padding and the seams started to come undone after the first use.
Well that brings my to my third, the Pearl Izumi's which I've heard so many good things about online. The padding is perfect for all three disciplines. They're really comfortable to wear and I ended up using them 5-6 days a week when I was training. They were $10-$20 more expensive than my previous shorts but totally worth it with the quality of the material. When I first bought them the elastics that surrounds my legs looked a bit loose but they adjust themselves once they're exposed to water. Triathletes like myself tend to have bigger quads and leg muscles so I think thats what the manufacturer had in mind when making these.
!!!WARNING!!!
These are not entirely bullet proof and buyers should really pay attention to the label that states NOT to expose them to chlorine. I was a bit lazy and would go in the chlorine jacuzzi at my gym after swimming. The shorts held up okay for 2 months but after that they started to get a bit see through in the front and back and loose in areas. 3 months later they are still usable though...
Tips for tri-short newbies:
If this is your first time owning a pair of trishorts learn how to take care of them and prolong their lifespan for training. When you finish a nice hard workout cycling or running just wear them when you walk into the shower to rinse them off. It's best to rinse them with cold water so after swimming. You can just spray them in the sink and then hang them somewhere out of the sun to dry. Also, NEVER curl your shorts in a ball (especially wet) for a long period of time.
If you train in a chlorine pool or know that you will come in contact with chlorine (like I did), do what I am doing now:
Buy a separate pair of shorts for swimming called jammers...I would suggest getting the "Speedo Men's Race Endurance+ Polyester Solid Jammer Swimsuit". They are meant for chlorine and give just about the same feeling that the Pearl tri-shorts give in the water minus the padding. They're $36 but totally worth it as both shorts will last you a long time. Oh and with regards to the speedo jammers, be sure to order a size larger than what you normally wear because the legs are known to be very a bit tighter than regular sizing.
Overall the Pearl Izumi's are a great choice and I will be ordering another pair soon!
Heavy Fabric
This is a good cycling short. The material is a bit heavy for triathlons. Of course, this depends on weather conditions.
good
The shorts arrived on time, it was comfortable, padding was good but not excellent, the thigh part of the short was a little small for X-large.
