Comfortable, light-weight sandal.
I'm your typical Californian. Lived up north in Santa Cruz, CA for a while, and learned how to really wear shorts, t-shirts, and sandals. Now I'm addicted! I can't walk around without sandals and shorts anymore, just doesn't feel right.

Anyhow, I ordered these guys because my old pair was wearing out. (The strap actually broke while I was driving, super lame.)

These are pretty nice, casual sandals. Very lightweight, thin, and stylish. They don't require any breaking in, they feel really comfortable at first wear. They aren't stiff, and bend nicely with your foot.

I'm giving them 4 out of 5 stars because I actually prefer a slightly thicker sandal. This will probably wear out within 2 months of everyday usage. They are definitely worth purchasing if you want something simple and stylish to wear around.

comfy
im the kinda guy who wears flip flops 24/7 even in winter and these things seem very durable and fit to your feet well and i have very flat feet. However there are very obvious marks where my toes are they just look like wear and tear of leather and kind of add to the look i think. all in all these are aweesome flip flops and i would recommend them to anyone

Reef Sandal
Exactly what I thought I ordered. Very nice sandals. Had to exchange for a bigger size but this was my mistake.

Comfortable, Stylish and Durable
These flip flops are divine. The name isn't misleading at all--the footbed is as smooth as can be. The straps are short enough that your feet don't really "flip" or "flop" when walking, and durable enough that they don't stretch. I have been complaining about stretching issues with reefs for years, but these don't have that problem. Overall a great buy.

Note: I wear a woman's size 10 and bought these in a man's size 8. They fit great.

Okay
Bought product in June and now in October the rubber sole has almost completely separated from leather. Disappointing since my other leather reef pair has lasted me almost four years! Otherwise great sandals but just a caution that they might be skimping on the glue now or something.

Disappointed
I've been wearing the Adissage model from Adidas for a few years. The nubs on my last pair was now mostly gone so time for a new pair. I saw the Calissage has good reviews, and the nubs are bigger so I was hoping they'd be more durable (recent reviews on the Adissage show they're lot less durable now, nubs falling off fast), so I thought I'd try the Calissage.

The problem I have with the Calissage is they're not form-fitting like the Adissage--no arch support at all. The Adissage is contoured to the bottom of the foot at the arch and under the toes. Also there is hardly any massaging effect, maybe this is just because I'm used to the much more aggressive massaging effect the the nubs on the Adissage. No, actually these can't offer good massaging effect: it's not form-fitting and so there is too little foot to slide contact. It can't massage what it doesn't touch. This is basically just a cheap pair of slide at big brand prices. Guess I'm just outta luck with Adidas now until they go back to using more durable materials for the Adissage. I won't be buying another pair for a while.

Nice Slider
Well this does what it's suppose to do. I use it over in Iraq when taking showers and I think that they are pretty good for that. May keep them in my trunk when I get back to the states for beach shoes. They feel like they would be perfect for that.

Great slipper
This is the best sandal I've ever owned. Great comfort and support for the foot. Cool design as well. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Cushiony Comfort
Sole has a nice cushion. I got the blue/white design which looks nice too. Comfortable in the shower and out. You can tighten/loosen the top since it uses velcro and is adjustable.

Cute but not comfortable...
I really like the look of the shoe but the bottom is just not comfortable. I like the fact that the sole is rubber so the shoe actually bends unlike some other brands. The layer above that where your foot rest is like hard plastic and doesn't conform to your foot. I haven't had any trouble with the strap on the back but I could see where it may fall. I wish I could find a sandal in the same style that was comfortable.

Didn't last the season
I loved the shoes when they arrived and received plenty of compliments, however the straps didn't stay on my heel and I had to keep cinching it. Eventually the elastic gave way after 1 1/2 month use - keep in mind I didn't live in them. I was considering purchasing another pair though through my search I read a review about the elastic ripping on another customer. I decided to keep my money.

beautiful sandals
Very beautiful sandals, but a little small... maybe order half size or one size bigger. But they look great with jeans, skirts, dresses.... and the materials look high-cuality.

Just not that comfortable...
I thought these shoes would be super comfortable, but to get the strap to stop falling down the back of my heel, I had to tighten it so that my foot felt squished in the shoe. They are well made, but I am thinking about cutting off the back heel strap and turning them into flip flops.

P.S. I have pretty "normal" feet.

Good choice
I like Reef sandals design, and this one is not the exception. I have them since a year ago and still there, used under all conditions: city, beach, home, pool, are really resistant and comfortable, you can walk long distances without burning your feet. I bought them in Tan/black, so they can be used with any clothes combination.

Comfy & nice fit

Outstanding Quality and Great Price!
These Reefs are GREAT! Very comfortable, well made. Great arch support! I have had several Reefs and for the price you can't go wrong with these! Highly recommend them.

Get what you pay for
They are constructed and fit well, and pretty comfy. I'm not too experienced when it comes to quality slippers, but I'm satisfied with these. The edges (toe) filed down pretty quickly and the Reef logo on the heel faded within the first week of wear. But they're still comfy months later and lasted the whole season for me

So comfy!
I've worn these off and on for the last two days and they are a perfect fit, no breaking in needed. I normally wear 10.5 shoes but for these an 11 was exactly right for me, so you should order one size up if you're between sizes. I have poor arches on both feet but these are very comfortable because of their arch support. (I had a pair of Sanuks before but the soles were too flat to wear regularly.) Brown color is good if you don't want to be too garish. Price was hard to beat. Hope they last!

These Shoes Are Great
I have feet problems and these shoes are wonderful. They are so comfortable that I hardly know I have shoes on. I recommend that everyone buy not one but several pairs in differnt colors because you will like them so much you will want to wear them everywhere.

My wife was right...again
I got these last year for Fathers day from my good daughter. I had looked at Crocs several times but had never bought a pair even though my wife had told me over and over how comfortable they were. She is right, they are super comfortable and perfect for wearing around the house. I also really like the Khaki color. Wore them all last summer on my days off and they still look new.

Love My Crocs
My Crops my be "ugly", but they are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn! This is my 3rd pair in this style. I litterly wore out my last pair of navy crocs!

what happen to crocs
Recently I purchased a new pair of crocs as I need a choco color. I have had a pair for several years. I sent the new pair back as they were uncomfortable, stiff and hard. What happen to the soft rubber soles that soften each step. I wish products that were good to excellent would not use lower quality material that changes the comfort level they once had. I will not purchase crocs in the future. There is a huge difference. My four dollar off brand for gardening felt more comfortable than those new shoes.

Great sandal!
Best fitting and most comfortable feeling sandal! They seem to mold to your feet. They are the Great!

Worth the money
When I first saw these in Macys two summers ago, I thought they were a bit on the expensive side, but I really needed some brown flip flops that didn't look too cheap and would be comfortable. I'm not one to break in shoes, especially cheap sandals - they have to be comfy from the first time I put them on. A year and a half later I'm still wearing my Reefs and loving them!

They are well made, and while I wish they had a bit more arch support, they are still way better than your average flip flop from O**N***. The fabric straps are phenomenally comfortable - no break in necessary, and the strap that goes between your toes is comfortable and doesn't cause any chafing. While other flip flops make my feet sore after a few hours walking, I'm usually fine after a whole day walking on my Reefs.

I've worn them literally everywhere, in the ocean, on beaches, on grass, through rainstorms, and they've held up very well! The soles get "squishy" and slippery when wet, which makes them a bit more difficult to walk in, so I wouldn't recommend them for daily use in wet conditions, but other than that they are great. I am ordering some more in different colors for next summer.

I can always depend on REEFS
These reefs came in on time and were just as comfortable as I remember them. I haven't bought a new pair in maybe 4 years. I recommend these. Reliable, really comfortable, and they look nice.

Great wit no break in needed
We bought these for a winter trip down south. We went white water rafting, hiking, swimming and more. This was the first time either of us had worn them and they were pretty good. I would recommend socks for a little extra buffer if you are not used to them. I got a size 8 and felt they were true to size and stayed securely on my feet. My husband got a size 13 and they were a little short, the curve was a bit severe but still a good sandal. I still feel safer in hiking shoes and these were a little slippery when wet but dried quickly and impressed me.

One step above cheap, buy Chaco instead
You get what you pay for and these clearly are a compromise to the Chaco brand. With a few improvements, these sandals would be tons better. To start, the footbed has dimples that become clogged with mud, dirt and other debris, that causes friction on your foot. Another qualm is with the rear ankle pad that is padded and covers the Achilles tendon. While a great idea to reduce the possibility of a blister at this location, the pad seems bulky and collects water when hiking through rivers, ultimately making the blister worse by keeping your skin soft, supple and moist. The traction is great and the rest of the fit mediocre. Putting your foot in these sandals can be a pain because of the bulky rear ankle pad and the strap that runs the length of your foot. You have to remove the fastening strap completely out of the securing ring to put your foot in easily which makes the shoe a pain to put on in a time crunch. I have had a pair of Chacos for 10 years and they still are working with none of the problems above. These Tivas are one step above a cheap flip-flop.

Little Big Feet!!!
I can't wear them. They hurt my feet. I ordered size 11, got size 10, too small.

A good, lightweight sandal
I chose these the Teva Hurricane 3 because I wanted a lightweight, compact sandal -- to be used, for example, as "camp shoes" when backpacking. Thus, unlike some customers who are disappointed that the Hurricane has a thin sole, etc., I was pleased that these sandals conform to what I wanted and expected. (If you want a thicker sole and more elaborate straps, don't moan about the Hurricanes; just read the specifications carefully and select something that fits your desires, such as the Terra-Fi.) These sandals will fit in my backpack without taking up too much room and or weighing too much. A better option, in my view, than Crocs.

Upon receipt of the Hurricanes, I wore them around town and found them to be quite comfortable. Not quite as comfortable as my Terra-Fis, but still good. I will appreciate the Hurricanes for their special purpose (backpacking), but I think I will enjoy them for general use as well. I like the simplicity and light weight of the sandal. I would definitely recommend the Hurricane 3 for those who are looking for this type of sandal.

too soft
The sandle itself is very pretty and I love the width of the strap and the design. I did not like to softness of the pad of the sandle. I have several Teva sandles in my closet and none of them are soft like this sandle. My heal and back started to hurt after wearing this sandle for a few hours. It would have been perfect if the pad was harder. I will only wear these if I know I won't be on my feet long.

REALLY SOLD ON THIS STYLE
I got a pair of this SM style on sale for ridiculous price at the end of the summer and looked around to find another because they are so classy, look so very cool, and in an understated way. Of course it goes without saying there is NO arch support but I've even worn them shopping and wasn't bad. The LOOK is what I'm giving 5 stars.

Sassy little sandal!
I love this shoe! The neutral color goes with EVERYTHING since it's virtually "color-less". It's simplicity and clean lines make it one of our favorite shoes...I say "ours" because my 18 year-old kept making off with mine so I had to buy another pair for me! :o) Both of us have received many compliments on them. It is a well made shoe and I'm so pleased with it that WE bought additional pairs in black and gold.
