Work great, nice price
These work great for laying on the changing table during changings to prevent having to clean the changing pad cover constantly. They also work good for carrying in the diaper bag for on the go changings. They are very absorbent and the right price to stock up on. They work better than the box of Pee Wees disposables, for the same amount of 36 and half of the price.

A little disappointed
They were much thinner than I expected and therefore did not lay flat when I changed my grandson. The price is excellent. However, it's not much thicker than a paper towel which doesn't stay in place while changing a baby. It is water-proof and will do what it needs too on that category.

Pretty flimsy
Babies R Us has another brand that works much better - I just hate going into that store so thought I'd order these instead. These are much lower quality - tear while baby is sitting on them.

Absolute must
These are so great especially at times of daddy-changing-the-baby-when-pooped.
Before I started to use these I'd get to wash the changing pad cover after each time my husband gets to change our son when he pooped, not to mention the clothes of both my baby AND my husband.
So if you have the same situation - these are the laundrysaver :))

Poor quality
These didn't hold up through 1 washing (cold, delicate cycle), and 1 drying (warm). The waterproof side is all torn up and frayed. I don't recommend these at all.

Multi-Use
The pads were a bit smaller than I was expecting them to be, however they work great! I use them to protect my changing tables. They're too big to be over the shoulder "burp pads", but would probable be great protection during tummy time.

Pad's weak plastic back cannot withstand being washed and dried
I bought these waterproof pads because I wanted some that did not look ugly and pilled up like many others do after several washes. They looked alright new out of the package, but after one machine wash with a load of baby clothes and one delicate drying cycle, the weak plastic backing was starting to melt and snag holes. After the second wash and dry cycle, the fabric on the front was all puckered and the edging shrank more than the center fabric, causing the pad to curl at the edges and not lay flat. I much prefer the reliable pads that pill up after washing, at least they can withstand being washed and dried over and over, as something designed to catch baby diaper changing leaks should be. I will have to throw these pads out after only a few uses because the backing can no longer hold leaks. These pads were an expensive waste considering how long they lasted.

Many uses for these
These came in handy many times whenever I didn't want something to get soaked with spit-up or risk being peed on. They aren't completely water proof...if they get soaked and you leave it sitting there, they will soak through. But, if you pick it up once the liquid gets on it, then it prevents the furniture from getting wet. They also wash really easily.

I use these pads on top of the changing pad and cover. They are great. They get poopy stains on them all the time and surprisingly the stain always comes out with just plain detergent. I always wash them in cold and just lay it flat to dry. I was worried it would fall apart if put in dryer. It looks as good as new. I am happy with these. Great product to protect your changing pad cover.

J. Walker Smith truly knows his subject. After hearing him speak, I just had to purchase the book. It's packed full of information for those seeking to understand the Boomers and what makes them tick.

Get the skinny on boomers
The April issue of Writer's Digest arrived in my mailbox on Saturday and I've been in a snit ever since. "Publish Your First Book after 50," said the headline, but here's the real kicker -- "Who says publishing is a young person's game? Here are an agent's tips to writing and publishing well into your golden years."

Golden Years? Excuse me, but the writer must have been addressing his article to my 80-year-old parents. It'll be another quarter century before I reach MY golden years, thank you very much.

Baby Boomers--you may have heard the phrase, this catchword many times; but did you know there are 78 million of them? After reading this book, I believe there are even more-for surely there are those, like me, who were born on the "cusp--9 months before 1946!" and see themselves more like boomers than any other group!

Yankelovich, Inc. began studying consumer values and lifestyles in 1958. As I started reading Generation Ageless, I did not realize how the activities by a company, about which I knew nothing, could be writing about--me! It was at first exhilarating--then it got downright eerie! Yankelovich chose to begin studying Americans through the gathering and analysis of data by generations. Certainly, they could not have projected at that time that the generation born during the years 1946 to 1964 would become the largest group of any during the last century! Due to the number of individuals, it is also perhaps one of the most influential groups of people in the past and for the foreseeable future.

Generation Ageless is extensive and covers many issues. In some ways, it is like reading a biography of 78 million people, in one book! In another way, it is pure demographics about Baby Boomers. At the same time, every marketing agent should be studying this as a textbook! Put all together, it is one of the most interesting and informative books I have ever read! It is an interesting read with both narrative and charts; however, with excellent writing, the authors have made what could be very dry into something that comes across in a personal fashion and includes information for anybody of any age.

Before reading this book, some of us may have begun thinking about planning for retirement or considering what we might want to do "with the rest of our lives." Even if we didn't feel like our lives were over, we might have felt that society was seeing us that way. Well, after reading Generation Ageless, we will find that we are all thinking the same thing--we are too young to retire...we want to continue doing the things we are now doing and we want to continue them for as long as we want to! So, we now have the key words to explain that! We are not going to ever get old; we are merely middle age-less! "How cool is that?" as one commercial declares.

Baby Boomers want to matter; they want to have a presence and an influence. "Or to put it in the way that best reflects the edge they give to it, it's a matter of immortality and morality." (p. xiv).

The book uses the terminology that has been coined in the past: the Matures, Baby Boomers, Xers, and Echo Boomers. I found it especially heartening that the Baby Boomers group has expressed many of my own thoughts, as I've grown older. We look back with some regret to that accomplished by the Matures. We worry about the Xers and Echo Boomers. But no matter what, Baby Boomers are going to stay in the game. And because there are so many, what Baby Boomers will continue to do for themselves will directly benefit others.

Baby Boomers, in turn, have been divided into the Straight Arrows, Due Diligents, Maximizers, Sideliners, Diss/Contenteds, and Re-Activists, with the driving force being the Maximizers. Readers may see themselves as having started out as one type of individual but changing, due to personal experiences, later in life. As the book says, "maximizers are the most enthusiastic Boomer segment. They want more of everything and they want more out of everything." (p. 188) While the book indicated that maximizers had something in common with every other segment, I thought perhaps another way of saying this was that we all had some part of us that were maximizers...at one time or another in our lives!

This book is fun to read! It is encouraging; it is disheartening...but it is about us! If we have an enemy, then the enemy is us. But if we also believe that our future will be bright, we also know that the Baby Boomers will be there, shining and basking in the light provided by that generation!

You'll be placing this book on a nearby bookshelf. It is a great resource of information. It gives you much to ponder. And it's fun to read and talk about! I highly recommend Generation Ageless.

A great way to keep organized
I could have easily just bought a plain brown accordian folder and dividers at my local office supply store, but the Baby Briefcase solution was cute, easy and already put together. Just add paperwork and a little personalization if you desire. Being a new mom, this product saved me a lot of time.

Sturdy and Functional
The assembly for the changing table was relatively quick and easy. I've built a lot of furniture like this in the past, and this assembly was no more difficult than most others. Once assembled, the changing table seemed sturdy and looked exactly like the picture. Obviously the "drawers" are just a canvas material with a few cardboard inserts, but they look OK and are easy to access. There's lots of room for storage, and I like that everything isn't sitting out on a shelf, which could be both unsightly and a hazard once baby starts crawling/walking. (Not that the drawers couldn't be pulled out, but with things tucked away there's less chance that they'll be found.)

Long story short: It's a baby changing table. I'll use it for a few years and then get rid of it. It does the job.

Too dark, doesn't match
We got the package and opened it, it looks like good material but it's more of an espresso color, not cherry. It's too dark to match our set of cherry furniture.

Very Happy with the Six drawer changing table
Very handy changing table and handles all diapering supplies and then some - great place to store favorite onesies and socks, etc for quick changes...I only wish they had included some sort of stoppers on either side of the drawers so when you push drawers closed they don't push too far in, spoiling the lines of the piece - a very small complaint, but just a simple peg in hole solution installable on whichever side you decide is the back of the piece would have done the trick...

Perfect
This is a great affordable changing table. Most tables with any sort of drawers are much more expensive. While the drawers are made of canvas, they hold everything I need them to without a problem. We are short on storage space/drawer space and this has helped out a lot! We are able to store all diapers, wipes, current clothing, bedding, receiving blankets in this. It is perfect for what we need it for.

Cheap materials
Materials are the same cheap plywood that everything is made of. Two of the pieces were broken when I opened up the box. Not a good start.

The joy my daughter gets out of this doll is priceless
Baby Alive Changing Time Baby is a cute little baby doll - somewhat cartoonish, but with that is just the sort of cuteness that appeals to my six-year-old. It giggles and coos, and moves her legs some, which is cute. But, the real clincher is that this doll eats and then "poops" out the food, which my daughter found disgusting and hilarious. (Kids are weird.) The doll comes with a dress, two diapers, bowl, spoon, bottle, and two packs of food. Batteries were included with the one I got.

Well, what can I say, my daughter loves this doll. She thinks that it is very cute, and she thinks that the eating and excreting (I don't know, what word would you use?) are fun and entertaining. She really likes the doll, and is now carrying it around everywhere she goes - along with the jealousy of her best friend.

As for me, I think that it is OK. Its biggest weakness is that when you get the doll, you really must lay in a supply of food and diapers. And you will want to ration the food, or you will go broke buying food for a doll! (I've been told that preme diapers are cheaper, but I haven't checked that out yet.) But, nonetheless, the joy my daughter gets out of this doll is priceless. So, let me just say that she and I both highly recommend this you.

Daughter loves it -- be prepared to spend more money
Baby Alive is cuter in person. Online, it looks rather garish to me. The vinyl arms, legs and head are posable. She kicks her legs and babbles when her hand is pressed.

The doll comes with two packets of baby food and two diapers, a baby bottle, a bib, a bowl and spoon. Best of all, the batteries are preinstalled. The food must be mixed with water. When she's fed, her mouth doesn't move, but she makes eating and drinking sounds, and babbles and burps. Just shove the spoon in and pour some water from the bottle down her throat to wash it down. It all goes down and out one hole. Fortunately, that's not too disgusting.

I help my 6 year old pour the food and the mix together, but she mixed it, fed her baby and changed her. She loves it. I have to help wash the doll out by pouring more water down her throat over the sink. Overall, the doll isn't too messy to deal with. The area around her gets wet with water, but it's manageable.

My daughter gets a real kick out of this doll. After the food and diapers are used up, I plan to make cloth diapers with rags and Velcro and some baby food with flour, water and food coloring. I may just splurge for some more Baby Alive food and diapers as a stocking gift this Christmas. If you don't mind all the trouble and cost, this toy can be a hit.

Cute doll for three year old neice
This is really a cute doll for my neice to play with when she stops by for a visit. The doll moves, crys, laughs, giggles, poops and eats. It's not overly annoying with constant movement and sound like the very first Baby Alive's used to be. Years ago, I purchased the first Baby Alive as a Christmas present for my daughter...Santa just had to bring it to her, she wanted it so badly, but after about 1 hour we had to put it in a closet to shut it up! Now, when I brought this one into the house my now college aged daughter reminded me about hers and questioned what I was thinking! Happily, we've found it is quite a nice doll and is only "alive" when being played with. I haven't boughten any food or diapers for this as I just think it is a waste of money, but my neice doesn't seem to mind not having the extras. She loves the doll, loves holding her and talking with her. Nice toy all around.

A Mess of Fun
My daughter found the doll to be "messy but cute." I didn't find the doll to be attractive, but my daughter thinks she is and loves her cute little dress. After feeding the doll, my daughter has decided that's not her favorite part of the doll. That's something to consider when buying this doll for a child, obviously. My daughter would have rather had a plain doll than one with the feeding features, now that she's tried this type of doll. If those features appeal to your child, however, the doll appears to be durable & was easy to clean. Rather than cleaning the doll out with the water bottle, I tilted the doll's head to the side & held it under a running water faucet. It cleaned it out quickly & easily. Finally, I feel the doll should come with cloth diapers rather than disposables. The amount of money to be spent & trash generated on future diapers & food for this doll are another consideration before purchasing the doll. It's a messy good time!

Very good version of Baby Alive
I had the first Baby Alive when I was younger. This is my daughter's first exposure to this Baby Alive. It is smaller and easier to carry around. The hair is painted on the scalp, so I was a bit disappointed with the lack of "hair", but then quickly realized that it's easier to clean when the food gets all over the place. If you turn the doll on, it will make baby sounds and kick it's legs when you are feeding. And when it thinks you haven't fed it enough, it was cry and fuss. It definitely pees and poos into the diaper. If you use the Baby Alive diapers, it is a leaky mess. We bought generic Newborn sized diapers and those work much better - although Premie size would probably be optimal. You can turn the doll off when you are not feeding. One thing I do miss about this version of Baby Alive, is that it doesn't move it's mouth as if eating (like the original one), but I think it is a very minor thing. As a matter of fact, the mouth on this doll is larger, so it is easier for feeding.

Cons are that the doll comes only with 2 diapers and 2 food packets. I bought more food packets, but they are not very cheap. And you have to make sure you totally rinse out the inside of the doll between feedings - so this requires parental help for younger children.

Other than that, I rated this doll high. My daughter isn't really into dolls, but this one has really grabbed her attention - mostly because of the eating/pooping/peeing action, but also because it is baby sized.
