Truly Amazing Devotional
I was blessed to find this book in a used book sale. I was a new member at my church and was looking to fine tune my walk with Christ. I thought a devotional would help me to keep that commitment. Having been saved for a long time, I was still looking for guidance and a deeper understanding of the Word.

Eugenia Price's "Share My Pleasant Stones" offers just that. With precise and clear exposition, Ms. Price taps the stone that each verse represents and reveals the clarity and love within. She also shares her experience and testimony while deeply explaining the Word. Price offers insight that is much welcomed and I use this devotional daily and have done so for many years now. In fact I've had to replace my original used copy with a brand new one from Amazon! I highly recommend it.

Share the Well

You and me, we send postcards to friends if we travel abroad. Caedmon's Call records a new CD. Either way, the effect is still the same. The people, places, and atmosphere of their experience as they traveled to India and Ecuador is captured in essence on Share The Well. Fortunately, the band shares plenty of self enlightenment not self righteousness on tracks like "Mother India" and "The Roses" as they reflect on third world conditions and how all of us struggle to find God in the mix. In addition, contributor and band friend Randall Goodgame helps pen some of the release's best songs on the title track, "There's Only One (Holy One)," and "All I Need (I Didn't Catch Her Name)." Other notable highlights include several delightful world-music tracks like "Volcano Land" and the haunting "The Innocent's Corner," both written by the talented Joshua Moore. And given the band's noted penchant for multiple instrumentation, it's not much of a stylistic stretch. Danielle Young also takes a welcome lead on some of the release's finest moments with the aforementioned "Mother India" and on "The Innocent's Corner." Clearly this trip had a profound effect on the band as we see more lyrical depth than ever before. While Share The Well may not generate the usual radio interest, longtime fans and curiosity seekers will benefit and enjoy this postcard from abroad. --Michael Lyttle

international world fusion music
I heard this CD in a friend's car and loved one of the tracks. It has some raw recording of local music mixed with studio recordings of modern contemporary music, but enough folk feeling that it does not sound very modern.

One of the Best
This is one of the best albums anyone could own. Its good music, well-written chiefly by 3 incredible songwriters (Moore, Osenga and Goodgame). Good music is hard to come by, but important music... This album is about as important as any I've ever heard. It deals with real life, with people around the world - no America-centric writing here. It is Christ-centered and exalting. And it is such in a world-wide context - among all peoples. That's a characterisic that is sorely lacking in the States, and it is quite refreshing.

Amazing and stirring new sound for Caedmon's
As a longtime fan of Caedmon's Call, like many of the other reviewers I was at first not impressed by the new sounds here. I've never been much of a world music fan. But the more I listened to the album, the more I appreciated the message, the lyrics, and eventually, the new musical sound. Now it is one of the most-played albums on my iPod. All I Need (I Did Not Catch Your Name) is now one of my all-time favorite songs. Its description of trusting God amid a simple lifestyle still brings tears to my eyes when I listen to it. Share the Well and Mother India are also favorites, and I love the beat and message of Dalit Hymn. I commend the band for putting out an album that was such a change, and I thank them for challenging and stretching me musically and theologically.

The best "CCM" album I've ever heard
There really isn't much left to say about this album. Just read the other reviews, or better yet, grab a copy and listen. I've long despised the Contemporary Christian Music industry, with its narrow minded ideas about Christianity, music, and social issues. This CD might not right all those wrongs, but it is clearly a collection of music from a bunch of Christians who actually got it right. Christianity isn't just some pie-in-the-sky philosophy, Jesus was concerned with helping those in need and showing compassion to all. This album delivers just that by showing us the stories of the "least of these" in remote corners of the world and the people who went there to meet them and returned changed forever.

Musically this album is nothing short of astounding. The mix of Eastern and Western folk sounds, the variety of instruments and vocals, the soaring melodies and catchy hooks, the little interludes, all add up to a powerful listening experience completely unlike anything you've heard before. Even if "world" music isn't your particular cup of tea, the passion that Caedmon's Call and friends inject into these songs alone should be enough to win over most every skeptic.

The rest of the CCM world can continue to copy mainstream sounds and fashions and make their safe isolated community and crappy art all they want to, I won't give them a dime of my money. This album, however, blazes new ground and pulses with so much energy and compassion and power that it almost makes up for everything else out there. (And I'm not in any way biased, even if my screenname just so happens to be one of the tentative titles that were being considered before the band settled on Share The Well) This album really is THAT good, and anyone with a heart for humanitarian work and great music from all over the world needs to add this to their collection ASAP!

Not as good as their earlier stuff
This album is not as good as their earlier stuff but it is still pretty good. I'd borrow it first before buying it just to make sure you like it.

Amazing and EASY Camera with FABULOUS pictures!
Well, I've owned this camera for two days now. I read all the reviews and was forewarned about the difficulty with the battery closure. Yes, it's tough to close, but if you press hard enough on the little door, it's easy to push the slider over.

This is more of an emotional review, of gratitude and excitement!

As an artist, I like to paint on site, and want to take good pictures to refer to once I'm back in my studio. I also sell on line (ebay) and blog, both which require high quality pics. But, I am so not a camera person! The ease of the intelligent point and shoot has made me feel like I am a photographer! I just wish I had it last month on my trip to Yosemite and Bodega Bay.

I spent time this morning taking pictures of the flowers in my garden... and I'm amazed and thrilled at the clarity! you can see them on my blog:[...]

I had wanted a slim camera to slide into my pocket or art supply bag for taking pictures on site (like Yosemite, beaches, etc.) So I deeply considered the extra weight and bulk of this jewel. It was the incredible zoom quality that convinced me. And I'm really happy about being able to zoom in from a distance to capture the tiniest details... important to an artist!

I am really, really happy with this camera!!

Great purchase
This was an excellect purchase for the price, Amazon had the best price and I had delivery of the product faster than I expected.

Just an amature
I have not had this camera very long but I am finding it to be a realy nice camera. I am not a profestional but i enjoy taking pictures of wildlife and nature shots.I have found this camera easy to operate and i get very clear pictures even with long shots, the zoom is great.It also takes great family pictures. I did my first video today of a red tail hawk in action. It was fantastic.

Z981 Camera
Kodak engineers are making bad decisions. I purchase this camera because it had a viewer window, as most of their cameras you can't see what you are taking on the LCD because of bright sun light. Buying this camera (Z981) has a viewer window, but the engineer removed the date function and make you manually put the date on each picture on the day you take it. Then you have to delete the duplicate that doesn't have a date on it. The date function is not an option to turn on or off. To me, they ruin a good camera but the engineers screwed with the date. You spend more time putting the date on each picture instead of taking them. Simple design would have been let the user have the option to turn it on or off. No, they didn't do that and just made it painful taking pictures. Now wonder why companies fail with this type of thinking. Now that is two Kodak camera that are useless to me.

Calcium plus D
Both calcium and D are very important to have in a daily supplement. I need to take 1500 mg per day so this 750 tab makes it easy....would rather just take 2 per day!

Calcium Carbonate
I was very disappointed with this product. Despite the name, the contents are not 'nature made' and the type of calcium in this product is calcium carbonate, which is not naturally produced:
INGREDIENTS
Calcium Carbonate, Acacia, Maltodextrin, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Titanium Dioxide (Artificial Color), Magnesium Stearate, Croscarmellose Sodium, Silicon Dioxide, Polyethylene Glycol, Corn Starch, Sodium Citrate, Polysorbate 80, Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), Phylloquinone

For proper absorbtion, you need to take a natural form of calcium with vitamin D. Calcium citrate is the most common, and greatly improves absorbtion over artificial types like calcium carbonate (remember, milligrams in the tablet does NOT mean milligrams absorbed). Calcium carbonate yields ~30% absorbtion, whereas calcium citrate yields ~55% absorbtion and provides the benefits of citric acid without the acid increase (think of it as taking less stomach acid to process). Calcium ascorbate, or an amino acid chelate, would prove even better choices with greater yield absorbtion, but more expensive. Calcium orotate and aspartate yield the highest absorbtion (85-90%).

Pros: Hmmm... none at this price
Cons: Artificial calcium carbonate and low yield absorbtion

Summary: Use natural form of calcium, citrate or ascorbate, with vitamin D.

Since I use Nature Made products all along, I was not disappointed with my recent purchase of calcium.
As always, nature made products has always been very responsive to my questions in my most recent purchase of calcium did not disappoint me. It arrived on time and very well packaged!
