Top Rated for a reason!
I now buy items from Amazon based upon the Customer Review Section and the status in the Bestselling List. That's how I picked this for my daughter and I have been a hero ever since (we ordered 3 more as gifts for her friends). I can't really explain its features but my daughter says "OMG dad, this is sick!"

Great for the first few months
I have long, thick, wavy, and slightly frizzy hair. I am always on the look out for quality straighteners at a low price. I owned the Conair CS26JCS wet/dry straightener for about 6 months until it stopped heating up. Up until that point, I loved the straightener. I'm not sure how long this product says it's suppose to last but if it's used everyday, it's definitely not going to last you more than 6 months- not unless, you want to keep going over what you just straightened because it didn't hold.

Awesome but pulls hair
I bought this so i can knock out two in one: straighten then curl my hair. I have to say it does a pretty good job if you use some sort of hair product of course. But it actually kept my hair curly until the next day. The only thing thats not so great is that when you straighten your hair you have to squeeze it so that it can straighten properly and when you squeeze it, it also pulls some hair. It sux but nothing i cant handle, for now.

A Good Purchase
For the price, you can't beat this. Just keep in mind that it's not completely ceramic, only ceramic coated. A better one will cost more money.

Disappointed
It was fine at first... just used it a few times... but now it's broken already!!! :( i didn't drop it or anything it just won't heat up anymore. :(

FABULOUS
I have experimented with a lot of different hairstyling tools and I have rarely said anything positive about them because most of them damage your hair and does not do what they claim it would do. But, I bought my Sedu iron a little less than three years ago and its still working. Although, I'm getting to the place where I'm going to need to buy a new one its been wonderful to my hair. My hair is shiny and straight when I use it as well as having a silky texture to it when I touch my hair. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Truly amazing! I was already having difficulty managing my hair - so stressed out and damaged from rebonds, colourings, etc. Finding the right hair iron added to my dilemna. Toe Straightener works well!
I have had extensive surgery on my left foot involving removal of a tumor and a bone graft in the 1st metatarsal bone above the big toe. As a result, my second toe does not lay properly...and the toe straightener keeps it properly aligned, plus does not allow the joint to callus from wearing a shoe. I initially bought two toe straighteners and am really glad that I did!

Toe Straightener
Don't buy this product! It is a waste of money and does not work. In order to get the elastic to straighten your toe, you must pull it tightly. It cut the circulation off to my toe and left ridges on my skin.
Returning it was too much of a hassle.

Corioliss tourmaline hair striaghtener
Works great! Heated up quicker than my old corioliss straightener and I could really tell the difference the 2nd day after I straightened my hair because I barely had to touch it up at all. Highly recommend!

Corioliss-Hmmmm...
This product is a good one IF you can find it for a good price on the Internet (as opposed to buying at the mall). The mall will trap you into paying $130 or more for this iron, and to be honest, I think the ones they use for demonstrations are better models. That seems odd, but when the girl at the mall curled my hair, it came out FANTASTIC! I even curled pieces with the same iron in the mall while the girl showed me how-and the curls were nice and bouncy. Then of course, when you get home, it doesn't work the way you want it to. Overall, I'd say that with some practice to style hair the way you want, this iron is pretty good. I also have a HAI convertible (my second one) which is my favorite-does not let me down and I can do all the same things (flips, curls, straight, etc.) with it. DON"T GET SUCKERED INTO BUYING AT THE MALL!!

It should last longer
I had an original Revlon RV057 and it lasted for more than 3 years. It got so rusty I decided it was time to get another one I did. It lasted less than 6 months I liked the way it worked but I going to try another brand maybe it'll last longer.

Not too bad...good idea.
When I bought it I liked it. It curls great and the straightening was not too bad. You had to hold the end tight to get a good straight but it worked. Then I noticed it was pulling my hair through the sides...ouch! Then eventually the spring broke inside and it would not pop open like it should which made it very difficult to straighten. Needless to say it is in the garbage now. I wish I could find one just like this that did not pull my hair and break, at a reasonable cost. The CHI version of this is around $130.00.

Not what I expected
From reading all the other reviews, I thought this would be the best deal for a straightner/curling iron in one. The curling iron works great, and if you are looking for a curling iron I would recommend a Revlon. However, the straightner did not work on my hair at all. My hair is almost naturally straight just with a little wave here and there, and it couldnt even straighten out the little waves. I had to turn mine up to the highest temperature, and then the outside of the barrel was the only part that really got hot. When you clamp the straightner together the plates do not touch. You have to squeeze the black part on the end really hard to make it actually touch your hair, and if you do that little pieces of your hair get snagged on the plate and pulled out. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Love it...
I just bought my second one of these Revlon curling/straightener irons. The first one lasted several years, even having been beaten up a bit by traveling. It did take some getting used to using the straightener part, but not long and it does an amazing job on my thick hair. It heats up fast, works beautifully on my hair, and is easy to handle. I love the convenience of heating up one iron and having both options.

Not only will it straighten but also add curl--the way you want it. Would not be without it.

Fan of Flat Iron
The Corioliss PINK Pro Fix flat iron works great...haven't had any issues with it. I have very naturally wavy hair, and this flat iron gives me straight, bouncy hair. Thanks.

Best Flat Iron I've ever used
I have wavy/curly, frizzy hair, and NEVER found a way to get the perfect, frizz free hair that I envied on other girls. I thought I was destined to have lifeless, dull, frizzy hair and hence always pulled it back or put it in a pony tail.

Then I was approached by a saleswoman at a mall kiosk for a demo of these Corioliss irons. WOW! I had tried flat irons before but they did nothing to control my unruly hair. Just 1 swipe of the Corioliss on a lock of my hair left it beautifully soft and absolutely gleaming with shine, and straight without a hint of frizz. I couldn't believe it was my own hair, and that a mere 5 seconds of work transformed it.

I splurged and paid the $200 for it, and it was worth ever penny, but luckily you can find it for much less online. That was 5 years ago. I straighten my hair once after I wash and dry it (I usually let it dry overnight), and it looks great until I wash it again. Sleeping on it doesn't faze it. I don't even need a brush anymore; I can literally get out of bed, run my fingers through it to adjust my part, and off I go.

I rarely use heat protection (it tends to weigh my hair down), and apparently I don't need to. I have long hair (touches the bottom of my shoulder blade), and my hairstylist always remarks at how healthy my hair is. I never have split ends. No doubt some of that is due to having naturally stronger (albeit unruly, frizzy) hair, but it says A LOT about how safe the Corioliss iron is on your hair. In fact I had more split ends prior to using the Corioliss flat iron!! You only need to go over your hair once, and quickly! to get the results you need. On inferior irons, you may have to make multiple passes. Every additional pass can weaken your hair, so the one pass with the Corioliss helps to keep your hair healthy. Some have complained about the lack of heat adjustment. On people with finer hair, higher heat can be damaging, and you should definitely use an iron that has adjustable temp. However, for people with hair like mine, you absolutely need the higher heat in order to get the results you're after.

My only complaint is the swivel cord, and that's why the iron gets 4 instead of 5 stars. The first Corioliss I got began to intermittently work, and I found out that as I rotated the cord, I could see the power indicator blink on and off. Eventually it failed to work at all. However, the iron itself was so great that I bought another one just like it on eBay. The 2nd iron was damaged in my suitcase during a flight and now it has the same issue, so I have rigged the cord so that it is stationary so that it continues to work. However, I will absolutely buy another one when the time comes, I just wish Corioliss would put a little R&D into developing a more robust electrical connection in the swivel connector.

I think it's safe to say this flat iron has transformed me as a person. I look and feel more beautiful than I ever thought possible thanks to Corioliss.

Good, not excellent...
My hair is long and straight but with some frizz to it. I thought that it would be so easy to have my hair looking frizz free, but it doesn't. I don't think the iron gets hot enough and you can't control the temperature. At least, it is smooth and doesn't pull or break your hair. Also, the hair looks healthy and shiny after straightening.

Pink Corioliss
The biggest problem I have with this iron is that one cannot adjust the temperature/heat - it operates at just one setting. So after using it for a bit it gets too hot and one has to turn it off for a while. Also one needs to use some protective iron guard spray prior to use and some shine-inducing/anti-frizz products after use. In retrospect I would not have gotten this iron! However, do like the ease with which the chord doesn't stiff up when turning this iron around. One reason I got this iron is that I can use it internationally and its dual voltage - haven't had a problem with that.

didn't work for my toes
This is not the product's fault, but the product did not work on my foot. I have tried everything for it, including surgery and it did not work but probably would for most people. The transaction was outstanding and there was nothing wrong with the product, it is my foot that is the problem. Recommend for other people. Lois Leonard

Not worth $7 - look elsewhere for a solution
These are garbage. I would have given "no stars" if that was possible. I've worn twice. After the first wearing, the fabric (on the pad) was severely ripped from wearing. Almost as if I'd played basketball, soccer, and field hockey in them. Additionally, the actual shape of the pad doesn't make any sense in relation to the shape of the foot.

these work well on FLEXIBLE toes
Dispensed by podiatrists, these special pads work well for MOST people with crooked toes. However, if you have very RIGID toe problems, while this particular device is probably still worth testing, try also pedifix toe cushions, toe caps or toe separators. Ok Product
I bought this as a cheap rescue item for going over seas, seeing that my at-home straightener was not dual-voltage. It does well for the cost, but has some trouble staying heated. Other than that, it's fine.

Amazing!
This flat iron is amazing! There is no other way to put it. It heats up in 30 seconds flat and actually gets really hot. It has a bunch of different heat settings and it's easy to use. I'm Black and it gets my hair super straight. I used it and the next day my friends had asked me if I had gotten a relaxer. That really says something. It also gets your hair straight really fast. I have long hair and it usually takes a lot of time to make sure that all of my hair is straight but with this flat iron it only takes me about 40 minutes.

Died right away in India.
I purchased this straightener because of its great reviews and because it works on dual voltage which I needed for my recent trip to India. I tried the straightener out at home before my trip and it worked great, but not as well as my Chi straightener. Still, I was very happy with it. In India, it worked fine the very first time that I used it. After that, it would not heat up at all. At first, the lights would flicker a little but the plates would not heat. Then the lights stopped working and the entire unit was dead. I was quite disappointed.

Great Value
After reading many many enthusiastic reviews about this flat iron I decided to give it a try. I have long very curly biracial hair that's thick but not coarse (Type 3B). For me, this flat iron works *really well.* This is my first flat iron purchase and I did TONS of googling before buying this one.

PROS:(1) It's crazy inexpensive! (2) A buttload of temp settings - most I'll never use (3) It gets hot fast, and reaches very high temps so that I only have to do one or two passes over any 1 - 1.5 in section of hair.(4) It's super lightweight so my arms never get tired during the ~40 minute straightening process. And (5) the cord swivels out of the way which is a nice feature. (6) Can do some minimal styling like curling hair ends and adding wave.

Now for the CONS: (1) the plates are only ceramic coated. I've discovered (after much internet research and talking to my stylist) that this means two things: first, they probably won't last very long, especially if consistently used at very high temps. Second, Your hair will get snagged more often and this will increase over time as the ceramic gets 'pitted' (2) You probably wont ever really get that "salon straightened shine" without using tons of silicone-based products. Now, I have nothing against silicone products and I use them all the time, but they will accumulate heavily in your hair and washing them out results in 'stripping' your hair (because of the bonds silicone forms with the proteins in your hair) and that means duller more easily damaged hair in the long run. BUT - all you have to do is put back in the silicon and, viola, smooth and shiny again. If this vicious cycle is not for you, then you should understand that unless you have titanium or full ceramic plates you're flat-ironed hair isn't going to be super shiny. (3) Will not straighten damp or wet hair (but most flat irons don't do this so no biggie).

Overall, excellent buy but purchase knowing that you're not going to get the Hope diamond of flat irons.
