Works for some...
I had to have some bonding fixed on my front teeth and wanted to whiten before that was done since bonding will not bleach. I went with this product as it had the professional strength whitening gel, with good reviews and a good price and seemed a much better deal than all the white strips kind of products. I only had time for 10 treatments, 30 minutes each, in the few weeks before my dental appt. I experienced no sensitivity the first 5 treatments. After that, each treatment caused increasing gum and teeth sensitivity. This is to be expected, as I'm sure anyone who whitens their teeth will tell you, and it wasn't extremely bad though it did get worse the more treatments I did. Although, I have no point of reference as this was my first time ever whitening (due to the bonding issue on my front teeth). After I finished my 10 whitening treatments there was also some lingering sensitivity in the gums for a few days and in the teeth for about a week. SO HOW DID IT WORK??? It only lightened my teeth 2 shades at best. Not at all as white as I expected given the reviews and high potency of the carbamide peroxide. My teeth look practically the same as before and maybe just a bit brighter. I guess it works for some and not as well for others. Again, it was my first time and I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I won't be whitening again until my bonding needs to be replaced again in several years and at that point I will definitely look into a different way of whitening.
Also, a note on the teeth trays - after molding them to my teeth it was nearly impossible to tell where to trim for the gum line. I ended up having to keep them in my mouth, look in a mirror and trace the gum line on the outside of the mold in order to trim them. It was annoying and time consuming and pretty difficult to get a good trim. I don't know if it's worth it to get custom trays just for this reason but if you have them or have the money to do it right, go for it and don't use these.
The only redeeming part (and reason for 2 stars instead of 1) is the enamel gel. It was soothing and helped with the sensitivity.

Day 1 and see a difference
After I received this product I finally started using it yesterday. It took me some time to get the trays right. I heated, shaped, heated shaped a few times but the top one fits really well. The bottom needs a little work. Anyway, last night after i got the trays ready i put the whitener in the tray and popped it in for 30 minutes on the top (was having difficulty doing the top and bottom at the same time, but this might be because the bottom tray isn't shaped as well. After I took out the top and rinsed my top teeth were noticeably whiter than the bottom after only one use!!! I did the bottom and then this morning I did both (I didn't have to talk to anyone) for 15 minutes and they look even whiter. It is easy for me to tell because I have one tooth that has to be professionally whitened due to a filling cover up, so it doesn't get any whiter with this type of treatment. It is easy to see the old shade (the one that won't whiten) right next to my regular teeth that have been whitened with this product. So far I haven't experienced any sensitivity.

Pearly white but not superstar white teeth
I was concerned about tooth sensitivity using whiteners, but decided to try Watts Power White on my upper teeth. After about three weeks using nearly the entire tube for about 45 minutes and 3 times per week, my upper teeth are noticeably whiter than my lower teeth by about three shades. My cainine teeth were also slightly discolored from other front teeth, but now they are about the same shade.

At first, the whitening gel does sting gums a little but not painfully. I think the mineralizing gel does help reduce teeth sensitivity and also help restore gums. The trays are okay to use but could be improved. If you already have trays, I would recommend getting the double set gel refills instead since only one set is just enough for your upper or lower teeth.

Now people notice that my smile is brighter. I would describe my teeth as pearly white but not superstar white as shown. I'm working on my lower teeth and will see if I can get superstar white teeth although they may have reached their limit.

Very Effective.
I found this tooth bleach to be very effective. It whitened my teeth which were horribly stained as I am a coffee addict from way back. While it didn't send them movie star blindingly white (which Im actually glad about) it did lighten my teeth significantly and noticably. I would have been happy with just a shade or 2 lighter as I wasn't expecting miracles, but I was pleasantly surprised and happy with how well this worked.

You do have to be careful about trimming the mouth guards etc as the stuff really can burn up your gums, I had a sore on my gums the first time I used it as I didn't follow the instructions. But that was my fault not theirs and I made sure to read all the instructions and follow them after that and I had no problems.

I didn't get much sensitivity, but I used the remineraliser as instructed so that may have reduced the odds of that happening

Great Product True to Description
The item works very well however I didn't use completely as directed. I can not imagine using these strips twice a day. They do cause some sensitivity within the first two days of use but it goes away.

Great price for a great product
I've always been skeptical about teeth whitening things that do not come from a dentist. After bad experiences with whitening tooth paste (i.e. they don't whiten) I decided to try the White Strips. I noticed my teeth getting whiter after only a week of use. My teeth were prone to some sensitivity, but it was not unbearable and I plowed forward with the product anyway.

For the people complaining about difficulty in putting the strips on, dry your teeth off before you put them on and then keep your mouth dry once they are in place. This will allow the gel to get directly on your teeth instead of gel -> saliva -> teeth. The strips will stay in place and will work more effectively if done this way.

Do not fall asleep with these things on, I did that one night and my teeth hurt, they throbbed, and I was sad.

Crest White Strips
Difficult to apply, it might work but it will take time. How long? One moth, at least. But I am not there yet.

Not So Sure
Crest Whitestrips classics may not be the best way to go unless you like 30 minutes of constantly trying to keep them in place. Heaven forbid you actually have to open your mouth and talk during that time. Don't even try a real swallow. The bottom strip moves around alot, it doesn't adhere very well. On the upside they do whiten your teeth as stated, if you can keep them in place long enough. Think I'll try the advanced seal strips the next time. They must have made them for a reason.

Overrated
I am so disappointed in this product. After reading all these great reviews I was so excited to try the product. It comes with hardly any instructions. It is difficult to use and very, very frustrating. The gel burns very badly on the gums and turns them white. I've used for over a week now, daily, and zero improvement in my teeth. I don't drink soda, coffee or smoke. This product hasn't improved my teeth at all. I am so frustrated that I want to go to a dentist and spend $500 so I can have white teeth. This is too much to deal with. I strongly dislike this product and do not support it in the least.

Instructions???
I havent been able to use my product yet. There were no instructions. I figured you needed to put the trays in hot water to mold to the teeth...not the case..they melted and warped horribly. Now no tray and still no instructions.

Best whitener for the money!
Simple and very effective. For five days I applied the gel with a q-tip, put the guards on (no need to shrink-they fit as is), and relaxed for 30 minutes. I have sensitive gums, but this did not irritate them. I've used more expensive products with less satisfactory results. PLUS there's plenty of gel. You can save what's leftover in the fridge for next time.

Never comment on products..

didn't work
I found the results to be very disappointing. The instructions say that you are to fallow a three step procedure for a total of 10 times. After the 6th, I was getting ready to quit. I managed to go through the 10th and final application feeling drained. It took me 1 hour and 13 minutes. The instructions let you know that 10 applications is recommended and that 20 is the maximum. I can't imagine someone following through to the 20th application. It's just inconvenient to use.
The end result of my 10th application was very disappointing. I could not tell any difference. I felt frustrated. I fell victim to the advertising in the box. I will try a different product.

Noticably whiter
My package came damaged, with 3/4 of the accelerator liquid gone. So I couldn't use it exactly as directed, I couldn't do the full hour and I couldn't rinse after every application, I also had to use what little liquid I had sparingly. I rinsed, applied gel, light, applied more gel and then rinsed, for 30 minutes. My teeth are whiter and they don't hurt at all. My teeth are usually very sensitive, after using the Rembrandt trays for a few days about 5 years ago I was in a lot of pain for weeks. I think that if I had been able to use this the way I was supposed to I would have a lot better results, but I definitely notice a difference. I've ordered the refill kit and I'm going to give it another shot.

Leaning over the sink drooling
I followed the instructions and repeated the procedure 9 times, and my teeth did whiten a bit, but a month later, they're yellowing up again. If you have the patience to repeat it often and don't mind an hour of drooling over the bathroom sink in a boring process, it's not bad. I'll probably use it again - have enough left except for the mouth rinse, which I suppose could be substituted by a regular mouth wash. It's affordable compared to others I've seen and heard about and didn't irritate my lips or gums -- a big plus.

Surprisingly, It Worked!
I didn't see how this product could work, as it sounded like it doesn't contain peroxide--otherwise, it would cause tooth sensitivity, right? I had the custom-made tooth trays I got from a dentist several years ago, and Rx-strength peroxide gel: while my teeth did get whiter that way, my teeth and gums hurt, and I had to have those things on my teeth two hours a day (and no eating or drinking during that time). Plus it too so many days to see results.

The Luster One Hour White does take an hour (actually, a little longer than that for me, but maybe I'm slow), but then you're done, and my teeth really DID get several shades lighter! It was the equivalent of using those expensive trays for a couple of weeks--maybe even better. After about the first eight two-minute sessions, I wasn't sure it was working, but after the tenth session, BAM! I saw a definite difference, and my teeth just kept getting whiter.

I don't have that much enamel on my teeth and would probably need veneers (if I could afford them) to have model-white teeth, but Luster got my teeth as white as can be. It's amazing what a difference whiter teeth make to my appearance: I look and feel cleaner, somehow. I will definitely recommend this product to my friends.

I highly recommend using a little petroleum jelly on the inside of your lips, as mine got irritated. (The irritation went away after an hour or so.) I also found it easier to wrap my lips around the light instead of trying to bare my teeth the whole time.

This product was SO worth the time and money!

Tooth sensitivity
Coffee, cigarettes, and cola. I consume these on a daily basis. When I go for my yearly teeth cleaning the dentist always remarks what a naturally beautiful shade of white my teeth are. No, she's not being sarcastic. They are naturally white even with all the crap I put in my mouth. I just wanted something to use the rest of the year so I could have those "wow" teeth.

After reading different reviews, both the good and bad, I chose this product.

Problem one: There was a color chart included. I matched it to my teeth. Very odd, my teeth were the most white shade on the chart BEFORE use. Uuuuugh, imagine those who have number 10 or 15... eeek!

Problem two: Two minutes at a time you must shine the included light on your teeth. This is not a very comfortable or natural facial position. During the first 45 seconds I realized I should have gone with the trays that you can close your mouth around. Every 5 seconds until it beeped I had my toddler running in and out of the bathroom "Mommy! You're so silly! Stop looking like that. DAAAAAADDY Mommy is being silly make her stop".

BEEEP BEEP

Problem three: After two minutes I inspected my teeth.... there were WHITE SPOTS all over my front teeth.

Problem four: The package says you can do this again and again over an one hour period. Fearing the white spots would be even more noticeable I chose to NOT do this. Good thing... because....

MY TEETH HURT WITH EVERY SIP OF WATER ever since. It's been 3 days since I tried the product.

I have been praying ever since for this pain to go away but it hasn't. Luckily this product can go away, in the trash.

my teeth definitely looked whiter then they were before
I used this product every single day according to the directions. I immediately noticed that it adhered to my teeth without sliding around. The second feature that I liked was that it did not ooze out any of the whitening agent into my mouth. I have used other products in the past where the gel leaks into your mouth and the taste is terrible! This product produced great results and my teeth definitely looked whiter then they were before. I would consider buying this again.

Best Whitening to Date
I have used many different kinds/types of whitening and these have worked the best.

Pros:
-Once a day (as opposed to twice for most products) for 30 minutes (sometimes I extend this out a little bit, which is probably not recommended)
-They stay on your teeth VERY well

Cons:
-Tooth Sensitivity, but this has come with every whitening product I have used. Therefore, I usually do 30-60 minutes 1 day, take a day off, and repeat. This cycle has worked the best for me sensitivity-wise

Other thoughts:
-These stay on your teeth like cement, which is not a con but you should be aware.
-Overall, a great product--they definitely work well!

worst sensitivity in my teeth
I used this product three times. First time I used this strips it was okey. The second time was a disaster. I felt acute pain in my teeth soon after I removed the strips from my teeth. I didn't know right away that the Crest strips were the culprit and was blaming the citrus flavor mouthwash that I used in the morning. I didn't use the strips for a couple of days. By this time I didn't feel good about using these strips in my teeth. Two days later I used the strips on my teeth again. This time soon after I removed the strips from my teeth I got the most severe pain in my teeth. I took four painkillers and still the pain didn't subside. I couldn't sleep properly due to the acute sensitivity in my teeth. Fortunately it was the Saturday night and I could sleep the next day.
I will never use these kinds of strips again. It was the worst feeling I felt in my teeth.

not what I expected
I expected to have to use these for at least 3 days to a week in order to notice any results. I have never used any sort of strips before, and tried Luster One Hour Tooth Whitening with the fancy light contraption, which I promptly returned after realizing what a useless product it was.

I tried these strips today. I used "as directed" and stayed in the bathroom getting myself ready, so was able to spit out any of the foamy peroxide that I didn't want to swallow (though I haven't read anything in the instructions that cautioned against swallowing it--I did swallow some, inevitably).

After peeling off the extremely sticky strips (also not what I expected--I thought they would sort of fall away after some minutes. I had no problems peeling them away, by the way), I was very surprised and delighted to notice a difference after the first application. Maybe that is due to staining that came off easily with the peroxide chemical, but it was still quite nice to see my teeth whiter than they have been in a very long time.

The size of the strips were fine--they fit the height of my upper and lowers, with enough room to fold a little around the edges of the teeth. I have read some reviews about them being too short and not whitening the back teeth, but an easy solution would be to use two strips for uppers and two for lowers, starting at the molars and going toward the front, letting the strips overlap at the very front of your teeth. That way your backs and fronts will get the same treatment.

So far, I have no sensitivity, but I do know that using a peroxide chemical in your mouth when you have metal fillings *can* very well give you sensitivity. The one time I ever used a whitener (a tray, once, a few years ago), I noticed right away that the area around the metal fillings was much more sensitive and stayed that way for a while after use.

I will continue to use the strips until I see the desired whiteness... and I highly recommend them to others.

Told my teeth are movie star white!
Let me start by saying that I smoke, drink red wine and drink tea. I use whitening tooth paste (not any one in particular) daily. I am a religious whitening strip user every 6 months. People used to always tell me that I had beautiful teeth but since I started using these, the compliments are unbelievable. I was even told that my teeth are movie star white.

The strips are very easy to put on. I start in the front so that I can push the strips into every nook and cranny of the teeth. I then work my way to the back, then fold the bottom under, making sure to again push the strips into every section. It sounds like alot but it only takes about a minute.

They stay on so great! I usually keep them on while I'm getting ready in the morning, so I end up leaving then on about 30-40 minutes. They can be a bit messy when taking them off but having a tissue handy will solve that. I like to rinse with mouthwash after removing them to get any excess gel off.

My teeth were only sensitive one time. I fell asleep with them on for about 4 hours. My teeth were sensitive for about 24 hours but were completely back to normal afterwards.

This professional strength gel works fast. Used as directed and applied directly to dry teeth as instructed helps minimize exposure to gums and whitens teeth fast. Not sure it's working but I assume it is!
I've been using this product about two weeks now. I think the amount you get for the price is excellent. Sometimes the product is a little hard to dispense so I had to add water. I have not had any tooth or gum sensitivity to this product at all. I have used 22% prior from my dentist and was told even then not to expect to much as my teeth were already fairly white. And people have commented that my teeth are white but I guess you just don't always see what others see but I will take that to mean it is working. I would think that without trays this would be a tough product to use.

Very pleased with the results of this bleach, infact this is my third order. You must remember to place the cap on the dispenser or the mixture seems to harden slightly . Otherwise this is a good product.

It works on grey stains
I am 52 and had tetracyclene stains. This stuff works great. You might need two boxes, but it works fantastically on grey stained teeth.

Work fairly well
They definitley whiten better than the OTC strips, but I have not found them to whiten as well as trays from dentist ...which I think cost about $100-$150. Neither are fun. Trays made my teeth very sensitive and had to wear many nights overnight which wasn't fun. Strips are somewhat messy and impossible to talk well in them and very noticeable. and don't sneeze or they will come off! I used Sensodyne throughout so that kept senstivity at bay. Probably a fair value for $50. I didn't re-use my trays because I have one slighly crooked upper tooth and when they made the mold and I wore it for several hours it made my tooth more crooked!! Surface stains are gone now from the strips but time will time how long it lasts as I am still on day 19 of 21 days of strips.

Works well
I used the whitestrips as directed, skipping one of the teatments accidentally. I made it up at the end and did see clear results. They are easy to use. My teeth are a little sensitive. This did not worsen during treatment. I would recomend this as a less pricey alternative to the gel trays they sell at my dentist's office.

Works Fast! Really Whitens but makes teeth sensitive!
I ordered this product after reading a Consumer Reports article on whitening products. I was very happy with how fast they whitened up but my teeth became very sensitive. I discontinued after about 5 days due to the sensitivity. I will continue to use this product to whiten my teeth but I know I can't do it for too many days in a row. I have never had teeth sensitivity issues before. The sensitivity does go away after discontinuing use for a day or two.

Whitestrips...
I have never used any other whitening strips, so I don't think it would be fair for me to rave about how wonderful these are. I do see a difference after completing the 21-day treatment.
They are very thin, which makes them 'comfortable' to wear and virtually unnoticeable.
Warning: If you get this stuff on your fingertips, wash it off immediately... it EATS your skin.
I literally had to wear bandaids on my thumbs and couldn't figure out what was happening to the skin under my nails! It was the peroxide in these strips... and just a 'little' on your fingertips will do the damage!
Surprisingly, having said that... I didn't experience any gum irritation while using the strips. Tooth sensitivity was not a problem for me either.

not worth the money
It maybe only takes 2 hours but after 1/2 way through the second 20 min treatment I was asking myself "what the heck was I thinking". I couldn't really get the trays to fit well and stay in my mouth, very slimy, just awful. Not worth the money. There has got to be a better way to do this.

Intense pain from burns
I have used Crest White Strips in the past and never had a problem. I used this product hoping the 2 hour process would give me the results I was looking for. One, they did not help very much. Two, it left me with horrible burns on my lower gums and inside my lower lip. Please don't assume that I did something wrong. I followed the directions exactly. I only applied a thin line on the front side of the trays. I left it in for 20 minutes each time and rinsed well between treatments. It did not hurt badly while I had the trays in or else I would have stopped. Only in the last treatment did it begin to hurt. However, the next day morning the pain was excruciating! It has now been 48 hours and it still hurts to eat, drink, or even talk at some times! The area is bright red and covered in white blistered spots. It really looks like the chemicals ate away at my gums. It hurts terribly! I would never use this product again and I would not recommend that anyone put themselves at risk of such pain by using it themselves!

TRIM THE TRAYS
I followed the instructions and started the first treatment. There was some burning on my gums and I realized I couldn't wipe away the whitening solution as directed because the trays had stretched during molding and the tops were overlapping my gums. Excess whitening solution was held against the gums (and the palate) by the excess plastic.

The instructions say nothing about trimming the trays, but trust me, most people will need to do some trimming.

Cutting off the excess plastic so the trays didn't significantly overlap the gums helped reduce the burning and pain in rounds 2 and 3, but because of the damage done in round 1, I decided to stop and leave the last treatment for a few days from now.

Overall, a little gum tenderness in the morning when I brushed my teeth, but no bleeding. And I definitely saw a marked improvement in whiteness. Since I needed my teeth whiter for an event tomorrow, it was definitely worth the hassle and minor discomfort for the quick results.

BEST WHITENING KIT EVER!
I have used the Crest whitestrips as well as a bunch of other kinds of whitening products that are sub-par and I LOVE this kit. It is not only comfortable but very effective; the results usually show up fully within a couple of days and my teeth are noticeably whiter. It is also super fast, compared to the ones that you have to use daily for a week or so. One thing to note: your teeth will be a little bit sensitive after using them for less than a day (sensitive to hot/cold) and it is a little harsh on the gums. But after a day, the pain goes away and the whiteness lasts for at least a month.

So I decided to pick up this kit because I don't have the patience to wait two weeks or 6 months or however long it takes for the other whiteners to work.

It definitely made my teeth a little whiter. And I only used half of the tubes (1 full tube on the top and bottom tray for each 20 minute application). After reading several reviews about halfway through, with lots of horror stories about burning gums and swollen lips, I decided to start applying half a tube of gel directly to my teeth with a q-tip before putting the tray in so there's not as much of a chance of the gel squishing up onto the gums.

That said, I still burned my gums-- though just the bottom ones. It seems like if you have shorter teeth (and I do) then you might be more prone to this happening, because the tray ends up covering some of your gum and the whitening agent gets on them and then pow! burned. That said, its not bad. Its more just a slightly annoying pain when I eat and not anything like the horror stories I read. Had I used a full tube on each tray and it really smeared on my gums, I think it could have been much worse. Also worth noting: I didn't notice an effect on my gums until a few hours later, so you may not notice if you're doing it wrong during the treatment.

What I will do when I try it again is put the trays in, draw a line where my teeth meet my gums, and cut the tray there. And then put guaze over my gums. That seems like the best way to avoid bleach being squished upward and held against the gums by the tray. I would highly suggest you do whatever you can to avoid any gel touching your gums, and only use half a tube per tray to avoid the squishing.

Teeth Whitening by Watts
Years ago I had my teeth whitened professionally by a dentist and loved the results. But I am a coffee drinker so I don't want food stains and coffee or tea to darken my teeth again. I whiten in the morning (20-30 minutes as directed in literature) and use the "mineralization gel" at night according to directions and with my old tray.

The directions from Watts cautions taking special care to NOT put whitening gel on gums or anywhere but directly on teeth. So applying the whitening gel in small amounts on your teeth & then placing the tray over teeth is great. I used another product (different company) and was not given these instructions so my gums would get irritated occasionally when the gel would ooze up onto my gums. The gel spillover from the tray also caused a small sore on the inside of my lip and other parts of my mouth at least once.

I am very pleased with the results after 6 weeks and feel good about recommending Watts' products. I still use the original tray made by my dentist but I have been told that using the "Teeth Trays by Watts Power White" or crest whitening strips (after rubbing off their gel & applying Watts' product) can always work well.

It burns!!!
Okay, I have been fitted for a professional whiting tray. The bleach provided from the dentist is pricy, so I thought I would try this product. It "turned runny" while in my tray, and seeped onto the roof of my mouth. After fifteen minutes the pain was unbearable; I took out my tray and the roof of my mouth was white. The gel actually "fried" the roof of my mouth. Not a pleasant experience.

Whitening Gel was exactly what i wanted.
