Very good ear buds
These are great earbuds, but i am giving it 3 stars because the wire came loose in on the left side and now there is no sound in that ear bud. I mainly use them at my desk at work and i had to order a new pair after 8 months. The sound, comfort and noise reduction aspects of these are great, but the fact that they became unusable after 8 months, gets them 3 stars.

How do you get them to stay in your ear?
Maybe it's the years I spent wearing the iPod earbuds, but these don't seem to want to stay in my ears. While I am moving around they pop out of my ear and I end up having to push them back in with almost every step I take. I can't seem to figure out how to keep them in place.

Good for the item cost but shipping is costly
I bought these ear phones just because it had 1770 reviews and the rating was still 3.5. I tried gummies just before these and I should say that these had a far better sound quality than the Gummies. The ear phones started sounding pretty good ( I mean to say the bass) after the 'burn in' period. I watched a HD movie in these phones on my laptop and I should say I am quite satisfied with the clarity from this piece which is why I decided to write a review for this! I would recommend it for a reasonably quiet environment but not while commuting in noisy environments because the noise cancellation is absent in this.

CHRISTMAS GIFT
Was disappointed that 12/13 year old thought game was too young. This was rated to be good for kids though.

definitely for kids
OK, for me personally, not too exciting (waaaay too little challenge), but it's not really meant for 30-something moms. It's meant for their elementary and middle school boys (and girls). My preschooler is too young to play but keeps having me play so he can watch the monsters fight. The "fights" are basically a variation of rock-paper-scissors, and the monsters actions look like little kids "fighting". Sometimes, one monster will hurt the other by farting. Other times, belching. I just leveled up to the point where they throw boogers and something from under their armpits. (I DID say elementary boys are the target, remember.) Customizing the monsters is fun, too.

Ingredients to make tonics to help defeat other monsters include wire bundles (from smashing cars in the junkyard), teddy bears (from the fair ground trash cans), globs of oil and water, cat skeletons (trash cans), coin jars, and more. For what I assume is the target market of elementary boys, I think they'll love it.

Good for the right age
As a big fan of monsters, and remembering an old game where you could build and fight monsters, I bought this game sight unseen. A slight mistake, as I think I am a bit outside of the age demographic for this game now.

You start in the laboratory, and have a fledgling monster to work with that looks a bit like Shrek. From there you can add a variety of different types of spines, spikes, tattoos, ears, etc. Kind of like a Mr. Potato Head, but more interactive.

From there, you send your monster out into the quite large world to explore, gather ingredients, eat gruffins (the bad guys) and of course, fight other monsters.

Gruffins look like rabbits, and they replenish your health if you lose a battle, and also confer some immunity to a type of elemental damage. So eat a red gruffin to get protection from fire attacks, blue for protection from water attacks, etc.

Gathering ingredients is done by smashing all sorts of things apart and collecting what's left. Then you can put them together in the lab to create potions to enhance your monster during combat.

Finally there is the combat. It is a turn based type system, so you can choose what attack you want to use (Punch, pound, or block) and then it compares to the type of attack the opponent uses.

While an okay game, I was expecting a little more action from the combat and exploring. This is why I said it is a great game depending on your age. The monsters are very well animated, and if you enjoy building and accessorizing your beast (kind of like in the Sims) it has a lot of options. There is even an area where you can take the monsters picture and he will do various poses.

Also, the animations for the creatures during the fights are amusing, with both sides doing dance moves, "talk to the hand", and quite a few other things including "mooning" the other monster when they defeat it.
So, if you are looking for a tactical simulation or fast paced RTS game, you won't be happy. If you are looking for something a bit cuter that would appeal to someone a bit younger, then you will probably be quite happy with this game. I don't think it will be a game that makes it into the teen years, but younger than that, and it would be good.

A MUST for PC and IPOD owners!!
I bought this copy as a gift. I recommend the product to everyone, especially parents. We don't have a video system in the car. Instead, we have video Ipods. With Movies2Ipod, I convert ALL our movies into Ipod format, and drag them into my Itunes library. Saves me a TON as I don't need to buy movies from Itunes.com. I already own the movies. It's just like I would play them in the DVD player at home, but now the kids can be entertained on the plane, in the office, on long trips, etc. I HIGHLY suggest saving your library to an external harddrive (just incase...) As with any Ipod library, you can pick ALL the movies in your library, or just a few at a time to save space on your Ipod. My 13 year old loves this also for his Ipod Touch. About 50 full length movies take up less than 15 GB. A must for all PC owners. (If you are a MAC owner, there is a free program called HANDBRAKE that does the same job. Love it too, for my new computer.) Congrats on a great purchase!!

Surprisingly easy to use!
I am not into gadgets and all, and had put off buying a new radio-alarm-clock for 2 years since the numbers started partially displaying on my old clock since I didn't want to have to learn how to program a new device!

I was hoping to get something that: played the radio, could play my iPod (nano and touch), was small for my bedside table, was easy to use, and under a $100. It took me a while to find it, but this met my needs perfectly! I also love that its numbers light up in a nice blue instead of red, and the iPod dock can be hidden when not in use! The bonus I didn't expect was that it would also have a great sleep timer, adjustable snooze time, and different settings for weekday/weekend alarms (and still easy to setup and change!!!) I've only had it for a few months now, so I'm not sure about the longevity, I hope it holds up well over time since I love it!

Display is WAY to bright :(
This clock does what it says it will. IPod/iPhone dock, dual alarm option, digital tuner, etc. I use it next to my bed and the display is WAY WAY WAY to bright for me. It lights up the whole room! After buying window tinting and applying it to the display I was still turning the clock to face away from me to avoid the brightness. I have finally resorted to putting something over the clock at night to block the light - not exactly ideal for a bedside :( I am fussy this way but, had I known this is what I would get, I would not have purchased this item. I will say that, other than that problem, the radio does what it says and is a good value however I would not recommend this item to a friend using it for the same purpose.

Ok, but not great clock/dock for iPod
This clock is a great idea but Sony missed the boat. The dock is very flimsy and unless I hold it as I put my iPod onto the plug, it will not seat. The dimness setting just doesn't go far enough. It cycles between very bright, less bright and still too light for night time. I have placed a sheet of window tinting material over the face of the clock and it is better but still too light. Wish it had an "off" position, like some of the competitors do.

In all, it works ok, but the button placement is illogical, at best, and when I seat the iTouch, I manage to activate alarm #2. Since I know I'm doing it, there have been no issues with that particular problem, but the engineering on this design is strange, at best.

I cannot recommend this particular clock. I wish I had paid more attention to other ratings.

Great Little Clock
I purchased this clock becase I wanted to replace my old alarm clock and have something I could charge my iPhone with. So far I have loved it. I listen to my playlists every night with the sleep function. This is great to help me fall asleep. I also like the dual alarms. It is also small and compact unlike other iPhone alarms.

Very Bright
Pros: Great reception and sound. Nice and compact w/ an alarm that won't scare you out of the depths of your slumber.

Cons: If you have trouble with insomnia, I don't think the intensely bright clock face will help any --it lights up the whole room.

Happy Jammer!
This cable enables me to control my iPod while it is safely stored away from the outdoor elements.
This cable and the Jensen Marine MSR2107 Waterproof Stereo with Full iPod Controls is the best purchase I have made for my boat I have full control of my iPod with this cable and all the info is on my radio's display. I did not want a CD player because that technology is old. I have every CD I own on my iPod or my computer. I just plug this cable into my iPod and the above stereo and I have hours and hours of music at my finger tips. No CDs to switch out or worry about storing.

Works fine but does not charge Iphone
Works as it should in my boat with my Jensen Marine unit. It does not however charge my iphone but it does charge my regular Ipods. The cost is a little steep for a cable but its inline with what others charge for their cables. Happy with my purchase. Would have provided 5 stars if it charged my iphone too.

this works great,the only problem i had was i had to get a diffrent adpater to fit my ipod-touch. I got it at the local radio shack.

will NOT charge Ipod touch 64 gb 3rd Gen
I had read a review regarding this charger not supporting 2nd generation ipod touches and was hoping that it would support the 3rd generation touch... nope. It displayed a depressing "Charging is not supported with this accessory." Now it's a 4 battery paperweight. The "Energizer Energi To Go iPod Charger" I gave to my father for his ipod will charge my 2nd generation touch and did work with my father's 3rd generation (which I have now). I was just greedy and thought 4 batteries were better than 2. It is most unfortunate.

If you examine both, the construction is a little flimsy as noted by other reviewers. This charger is made of lightweight cheap plastic and I would be concerned about the case cracking if I should drop it with a load of batteries in it.

Does not work with my Nano
Clever product, however it does not work with my Ipod Nano(2008/2009 model). The manufacturer should be a bit more specific about lack of compatability with certain models.

Works great, easy to get batteries.
This product works as advertised, and the lithium batteries that come with it can power this device for many recharges. You can also use your own 4 AA batteries. The only problem is that it only has one adapter instead of many so that your other devices would be covered too.

It Has Interchangeable TIPS
I've got three of these units and I LOVE them. The output voltage and current limits are determined by the attached tip. (Idependant of the internal batteries.) Although it comes with the tip for an IPOD, you can go to any Radio Shack and get the right connector for most portable electronics using I-TIP(r)/I-GO(r) line. I've also been very successful using rechargeable NiMh batteries in these units. 4x 1.2Vx2AmpHour provides about 12WattHour of power. Most of my devices have less than 4WattHour of Li?? battery.
