Touch Of Entertainment
There is no question that when it has came down to MP3 Players, many people have definitely came over to Apple's Ipod over time, as the most popular player on the market. Nearly a decade since the original Ipod made its debut, many music lovers have looked to it into their hearts , and made it the template of the way we now enjoy our music on the go. But with the Ipod Touch debuting a few years ago, it really has added the touch of your fingers as the controls. While it has been a few years since the Ipod debuted, it has delivered not just to music lovers, but gamers and the way we surf the internet wherever we roam. Now, how it can it be topped, it can't. But there can be a few adjustments though.
The Apple Ipod Touch 3rd Generation is simple, convient and easy to use, as you can not just store all your favorite music and videos, but download any game to your delight from Apple's Itunes store. There are many games you can download from pinball to racing games like Need For Speed: Undercover to puzzle games like Bejeweled 2. There is more here that you can definitely do with the Ipod Touch in 8 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB. But, this review is for the 32 GB. It can definitely hold a whole lot in the simple Ipod. While there is so much you can do from surf the internet through your favorite Wi-Fi spot and play songs you've downloaded from your favorite music service, there are a few faults. The first disadvantage is that the battery life can easily lose its steam after only a few hours, especially when you've downloaded so many games to play. It isn't just that alone, but it also takes awhile to re-charge itself up unlike other MP3 Players on the market. It can be very discouraging, especially when you just want to take it out, after you've filled it with your favorite media. Not only that, but it is very sensative to control, and takes a little bit to get used to when you've first bought it. Nevertheless, after a couple of days, you'll be in the best of control.
All in all, despite a few things that could've been improved, the Apple Ipod Touch is still a great MP3 Player, and media device to take with you anywhere. It is the closest to bringing your computer with you anywhere your heart desires. I really like it a lot, and it definitely is a great buy for anyone whom wants the best idea Apple has came up with since the original Mac.

Well worth the money, despite it's very few flaws
First off I'll say that I have the 8GB version of this, so this review is entirely in regards to that fact.
The fit and function of the iPod is fantastic. It's sleek, good looking, very easy to use and even though it weighs next to nothing it is very tough and feels like it was built like a tank.
The web browser (Safari) is very reliable and fast, and the wireless works great. The range is a bit shorter than say my laptop, but it works far enough away. The apps you can download are plentiful and very easy to manage. The only bad thing about them is I wish a lot more of them were free. Once you download a half dozen .99 cent apps or so, the charges can start to pile up a lot.
My only problems with it are as follows:
The low-end model should've been 10GB, rather than only 8... which in reality translates to between 6 and 7 after the iPhone OS is installed (by default, of course).
Some extra customization features would've been good. Such as being able to put separate passlock codes for music, pictures, videos, etc. But that's neither here nor there - to each his own.
Lastly, the internal speaker isn't anything to get excited about. It's very quiet and sounds somewhat muffled. The EQ is the standard, plain-jane "Rock", "R&B", etc. job. There is no definitive frequency range adjustment to speak of. However, I suppose you can't expect that sort of feature on a mp3 player. I'm an audiophile though, so I'm picky in that respect.
Other than those minor issues, I really enjoy the iPod. The performance and reliability is top-notch and there are seemingly endless options and unique "tweeks" to tinker around with on it. It's basically a handheld computer and I've hardly used my home PC to browse the web at all since I got my iPod. You can even get apps to text message for free! Also, if you get the microphone for it you could use it as a phone as well. But with that said, the online features will obviously only work when you are connected to a WiFi network... unlike a mobile phone. But for a mp3 player to do all that this does, is simply awesome.
I'm very glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone. As the title of my review states... it's well worth the money!
iPod touch 8 GB
Bought one each for my 8 yr old and 10 yr olds this summer. Good to fill up some times of boredom. Now that school is in, they still play on it, but not to the exclusion of school work.
It's a nice product.
great
My new Ipod is great. Shipping was fast and I got it on time. I just need more time to learn to use all the features.
I bought it for my daughter. I did not know it does not come with battery re-charger, which you have to buy separately.
The product is very good, just did not come with battery re-charger, which you have to buy separately. You would not know it until you opened box.

Ipod Classic
I really love gadgets and music so what a great culmination of the two. I knew I needed something with more capacity and that it would be nice to have almost all my music available when I wanted it. I bought the previous version but never got it to work as well as it should have and I had given up. The new version is much easier to use. I'll probably fill it up, but I'll have a lot of fun doing it! Until about a year ago, I thought "What's so hard about changing a CD? Why would you need to carry around a bunch of music? 160 GBs? Who could ever use that much space." Then I bought a great case for it, figuring I would protect my investment.
Replace often
Beware apple's classic 160g iPods. They are very unreliable and you will end up replacing it every year or two. I have had 3 of them and they all just stop working at some point and I don't abuse them or leave them in a hot Texas car. They just are not well built.
Dont buy these iPods
Ive had iPods since they first came out,and I have never had as many problems as this model.I have bought and returned two of these and am now swearing off apple products forever. Will not sync with i-tunes,freezes up constantly, had to reboot the thing every 10 minutes after it froze during syncing and locked up my computer. The software is completely haywire on these models.I was beginning to wonder if I had somehow received two defective models in a row,so I began researching this problem on the internet and found this problem is very common.I even downloaded Winamp and tried to use that instead of I-Tunes,but this piece of crap locked up this program and wouldn't sync to it either. They do make nice paper weights though.
Ipod Basics
When it comes down to finding the right kind of MP3 Player, most of us want something simple, and not to the extreme. Since Apple came out with the original Ipod nearly 9 years ago, it has became the epiphany and template of what strong MP3 Players have became. Yet, there have been so many companies that've taken the time to recognize why the Ipod has became so important to changing the game of the way we get our music. We now get our music on the internet, and not through a basic record store. Thank to Apple, it has been the dominant reason people want a Ipod over any other MP3 Player in the market. But with all the Ipod owners choosing to swap for the Ipod Touch, many are still choosing to go for the classic instead.
The Apple 160 GB Ipod Classic is one of the most convient and classic MP3 Players on the market, where you can store thousands and thousands of hours of all your favorite music to your hearts' content. It is simple, convient and easier to recognize now. You can store all of your favorite music you get from Itunes, as well as store your favorite videos now, and it can play anything with just a flick of the thumb. It is simple to use, as you see your favorite photos, to play games like classic solitare. While all the features work like a glove, there are a few disadvantages with the Ipod Classic. The main disadvantage is how long it simply takes to charge the battery of the Ipod to its optimum level. It could take as long as 4 hours just for it to fully charge when you plug it in the computer. While that can be the biggest drawn out drag, it really handles very well from its control, to the ability to playback all your favorite videos, and TV Shows from your favoorite networks, that you can download through Itunes.
All in all, with a convient price, and simple playback, I really recommend the Apple 160 GB Ipod Classic. It really is a treat for the music lover in all of us, and as time had went on, everyone owns what Apple had made as a giant in the electronics' business. If you want all the simplicity of your music and video, without all the hastle of price, than this is what you should get. While there are cheaper MP3 Players on the market, but with all the songs and convience of your music library in the storage and in just one place all over time it just feels like the best direction to go.

Kenwood Review
I purchased this unit for a 1995 Nissan Sentra and could not be more happy. I keep the Sentra around because I drive a lot and it gets great gas mileage. This unit allows me to use my iPhone and worked seamless after install. The unit was easy to install and was no hassle to set up and use. I recommend this to any one for a low end unit. Thanks Kenwood, you have made my driving experience much more pleasurable.
Kenwood Stereo Kdc-mp345U
The stereo looks great in my car. It sounds fantastic and I found it easy to use.
Chose this over a lot of others
I did a lot of research when looking for a receiver to replace my factory unit in my 2000 Miata. I wanted to be able to play my iPod video and use a USB thumbdrive without getting into a lot glitz. For the money this Kenwood is a solid buy.
Pros:
-I love the power this puts out. The clarity of the music that I get even with the top down is fantastic.
-The controls are fairly intuitive and I like that it has hard buttons which are easy to find and use while driving. There is a small learning curve as far as customizing your settings, but it's fairly straightforward. The main rotary knob has a solid feel to it and is easy to adjust while driving.
-The display is simple without a lot of dancing lights and so on.
-Hooks up easily with my iPod, scrolls through all the normal iPod settings: Genre, artist, albums, etc with ease.
-The Ipod also charges when hooked into the USB port.
-The USB port has a cover which feels solid when moving it.
-Don't know how much I'll use the remote, but it is nicely designed and feels well made.
Cons:
-Sunlight seriously wipes out the display screen, making it difficult to read without straining your eyes.
-The unit activates my power antenna whenever it's turned out, even if the radio isn't engaged. I don't love having the antenna constantly up.
For the price, I'm well pleased with this Kenwood. I looked around, and couldn't find a receiver that would solve all my wants in this price range. The Kenwood seems like it's well made, it handles lots of formats and is easy to use. All in all a good receiver.
Couldnt have expected less from kenwood
I made a purchase from Nigeria on 20th July, got it delivered at a friend's place in Maryland third day.
Installation was quite easy, navigation is wonderful, works as designed. The only negative side is that when a thumb drive hangs on and you decide to listen to the tuner/CD, if you switch off engine and restart, the unit defaults back to USB even though you were not on USB mode. This is strange, hope Kenwood would do something about this. Notwithstanding, it's the best you can get for that price anywhere.
Perfect for use with iPhone or iPod
Purchased this for my husband to use in his 2003 Toyota Corolla. He has an iPhone, and this unit is advertised as working well with iPods or iPhones. It works great!
USB INPUT
You use the standard iPod cable that goes from the bottom, wide, data plug at the bottom of the iPod, and has USB at the other end (same cable you connect to your computer with). The Kenwood unit received the USB end.
CONTROLLING THE IPOD
Depending on the order you plug things in (if you are already playing music on the iPod, or not), you can use the iPod or iPhone to control your music selections (using click wheel, etc) OR you can use the Kenwood unit to control your music selections. My husband likes controlling the iPod by using the Kenwood unit. I prefer to control the iPod itself, since I'm familiar with its navigation. You can control the iPod even while it's plugged into the unit (unlike the Sony unit I have in my car, which once it's plugged in, you can't control the iPod without unplugging it - irritating).
CHARGES IPOD
Since you're using the data/charging port, it charges your iPod while you're driving, so you don't have to worry about draining your battery on a long road trip.
AUX INPUT
There is also an auxiliary input, if someone wants to play music in your car, but has a different mp3 unit. The aux plug-in receives a cable connected to the mp3 player's headphone jack. This of course, will not charge the player's battery, and will not give you data (song titles, etc.) on the Kenwood screen. So this is why the USB port is so great if you're buying this for primary iPod or iPhone use.
INSTALLATION
We did not purchase any special "kits" for installing this unit. My husband is relatively technical, and he had no problem installing this in his 2003 Corolla, using only the pieces in the box (well, some tools like screwdriver, and saudering iron to connect wires were also necessary). It took him a couple hours. I saw that some other people had purchased harness wires or install kits along with this unit, but that wasn't necessary for us.
And also, this is an amazingly low price for any car stereo, not to mention one that works this great with iPods!!!

Pricey but great device from Bose..
I bought this from a Bose store after listening to it for a while. It was the simplicity of the design along with the sound that made me spend $400 on this. I some times question my decision spending a lot of money for an Ipod dock, but the flawless sound from the device makes it a bearable "mistake". As many stated, the music has a warm Bose quality that feels perfect for Ipod audio files. The battery life is great and I have listened to more than six hours non-stop on a single charge.
Now about the cons. When a visiting brat yanked the Ipod off the dock, the connection became a problem. I had to tilt the Ipod a little to the front or to the back for it to make contact. I then stuffed a rolled up piece of paper between the Ipod and the grille to make it play. Luckily it was under warranty and the Bose store exchanged it for a new one. I am still wary of the dock and have a feeling that it will break in the future. Now I really treat it like a $400 device.
The other problem with the dock is that it's difficult to connect slender Ipod's like the Nano 5th Gen and Touch to the dock, which was designed for older and bulkier Ipod's like the classic. I have to insert the Nano and Touch with much care and it's a bummer when done in the dark or when it's not done at eye level. I wish Bose had included an adaptor for the newer Ipods.
When I exchanged the Sound Dock at the Bose store, I was told about the Music Package offer that had the Sound Dock+Carry Bag+Extra Battery for $460. I paid the $60 difference and got the upgrade. The offer is still available from Bose today(8/30/2010) and I think it's a great deal. I now rotate the batteries every month hoping that it extends the battery life.
Even though Bose support is excellent, they don't offer any extended warranties for the dock, and I have no ideay why.
BOSE is just the best...hands down!
We looked for a long time before we finally found this system and it is AWESOME!! It's easy to use, portable, lightweight and the sound quality is unbelievable. We initially bought it to take outside on the patio but have found we use it all over the house. This system is more expensive than some others on the market but I'm telling you, it's worth the $$.
Love these speakers
Fabulous sound very pleased I paid the extra the BOSE. A friend of mine bought cheaper and hates the sound. I bought more expensive and love the sound. Price hurts once poor sound hurts everytime you turn it on.
very pleased I bought the portable I hate being attached to a wire which people trip over. I use it anywhere and everywhere and get great sound.
Awesome Sound Quality
BOSE has done it again - the sound from this little device is amazing.
Great portability. Super simple design, elegant, and functional.
Battery life is a little short (about 5 hours) - will likely order another battery so I have two.
Bad design, cable keeps shimmying out of clip to iPod dock
I owned the Sounddock for about a year when it began giving me problems. Played it about 20 times or twice a month (had it in the living room where we only occasionally listen to music). I called up Bose about the problem (clicking sound, no music) and was told I was out of warranty, and that I needed to send in/exchange for a new one. Cost? $200 more. Wow, $500/600 total for a sound dock in one year + one month? Hmmmmmm.
I wasn't having it so I opened the Sounddock up and found the problem. The circuit cable insert that connects to the iPod dock is poorly constructed since it fastens to the bottom of the unit and tends to pull the cable out of the dock. It's very very difficult to reattach (it's not broken, it's a simple cable that should reattach, but this doesn't stay attached) because the angle requires that the case be practically shut before the cable will slide into the clip. This means you need to set the cable into the tip of the clip, close the case gently and hope all goes well and that the circuit ends meet the iPod dock. Good luck. So, somehow, I reattached it, once, and got my Sounddock working again. For a couple days. Then no sound again. Looked inside the casing again, the cable was out. I'm now convinced that playing the Sounddock at moderate volumes causes enough vibration that the cable shimmies out of the clip. Disconnect. Poor design. And the only recourse is to keep reconnecting the cable or else shell out more money to Bose.
WARNING: do not buy.

Travel Essential: Portable Power for Small Electronics - Including the iPad!
Just returned from 1 week in Philly - SF - Honolulu and took this with me in my hand carry. Between the layovers and long plane rides, this device came in handy as I carry an iPhone 3G, a Blackberry, and an iPad 3G. The iPhone and BBY drain when there is a weak signal - not that ATT has dead zones anywhere in the US...
I even recharged my seatmate's iPad while I was recharging my own, sparing us from having to have a transcontinental conversation. Even with heavy use, I still had 1/2 of the juice left when I got home. It also stops charging the device when full and have not experienced any reduction in battery capacitance.
It can recharge 3 devices simultaneously, it is ultra portable - slightly larger than a deck of cards, and it's got a impressive power capacity. Once charged, it will keep the charge when on stand-by for months.
Very nice quality and easy to use and so far, this is the best portable power solution for travel.
Awesome Product!
Received product quickly and just as expected. I have had it for about a month... charged it once initially... have used it to charge my Moto Droid a few times when I needed it. And I still have more than 1/2 the charge left on the Trent. This product is AWESOME! Very convenient. It's not too bulky to carry around with the phone. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Must have for long trips! Last forever
I'm not a frequent flyer but on my last two vacation I had the unfortunate experience of having my wife and my Iphone arrive with no battery left. I wasn't going to pay $10-15 to charge them for fifteen minutes in the airport's 'convenient' charging station so we went off-the-grid until we arrived in our hotel. Lucky for me, I learned my lesson and decided to buy the IMP880 four days before we left on vacation from New Trent directly (being the cheapskate that I am, I only paid for regular deliverly). I emailed them the date of my departure and ask them if they could make it a priority. To my surprise I received the IMP880 two days later and never stopped using it.
Pros
Great customer service
Loooong battery life
Compact design
Compatible with multiple devices
Cons
None so far.
Look around and any competitor charges $80-100 for an Iphone battery attachment that will only give you a couple of hours of battery life. This devices has given me over 24 hours of useage and still had plenty of juice left. Why bother with bulky attachments while you can charge two Iphone (at the same time) in half-an-hour and store the battery for later.
Thank you New Trent!
Great product
I had IMP880 for about a month. I carry it every day for my Motorola Droid back up. I've charged IMP880 for three times since I received the unit. First time, I was able to charge 4 times for my Droid but, second time I was able to charge it two and half (60%) times. I sent email to customer service to check charging capacity for Droid. On the web, it will be able to charge iPhone for five times but, not for the Droid. I think Droid uses similar size battery as iPhone. I may have to test it for myself because I did not get a reply email yet.
Amazon.com has updated information but New Trent Website is not. I had to email them to update the website information because this works for pretty much all USB charging device but, there were lake of information for other device.
I am not sure if the product packaging has been improved. I was so disappointed about the packaging. However, I got a phone call from the New Trent right after I submit the complaint and they were willing to improve the packaging. Please update for me if the packaging has been improved such as added padding or fragile outside of the packaging etc.
This is lower price than what I paid a month ago. If your portable device uses mini or micro USB charging, this would work for your devices' back up battery. Stop looking for lower price. Stop thinking, Just get it. Especially if you have a smartphone.
The only portable power I ever need!
I love it! You will see many same great review on this, so I won't repeat it.
Pro:
Charge up to three devices at the same time.
Very very useful for long trips, saved my ass.
Looks cool and very compact.
Power when you need it Period!
Cons:
Why does it say LCD display on the box? I don't see any LCD on the product except for the LED lights?
Only 500 charge cycles, if your a moderate user than not a problem.

Worth The Money
I bought this radio for my husband, and i have to say when he put it in he tried to rub it in. I have not had him complain once about this radio. It does exactly what it says it will do. It does actually put the song titles on the screen when using a USB flash drive. I think the Radio is Great and Well Worth the Money!
