pissed me off
it was a awsome head unit untill day five came along. fifth day i had this it just stopped working, it wasnt fried, all the connections where fine, no fuses blown, everything was fine it just stopped working... WTF naxa?!

This stereo is really good for how much it cost.plus it looks good with buttons and screen lit up with blue.all the functions that it say it has are all working.only there was no instructions for set the clock .but i figured it out ,i had stereo off then the clock is on,here you just hold down sel button while the two cd scan buttons are your adjustment for clock set time.the left << rewind is the minutes then the >> forward is the hour.i have a total of 8 speakers hooked up,4 5 1/4 two one inch dome tweets and two legacy 10 inch woofers.all run by a kenwood 280 watt 4 channel amp and a very old purple boss 3 way crossover.its very loud an clear.im no profesional but i been hookin beat for my self an freinds for years.there is no engine or alt. noise at all very nice an clear stereo sound.if your lookin for a low price stereo this naxa 671 is good for it.mine works like a champ.

works well
Does what it is designed to do, plugs right into OEM wiring, in my case that means switched power, battery and ground only. I am not using any of the factory Bose stereo amps, speakers, wiring. With the strange way that Bose uses to wire its stereo, it was easier to just bypass everything OEM.

Awful Stereo Reception
This radio cannot pickup any of the stations in Atlanta.... The ipod hookup is nice, but I need to listen to traffic and news in the mornign and this just doesnt cut it. Pretty cheap

Incredibly Useless
If what you want is a device that plays its one useful feature *ability to plug an ipod in* with such bad quality that it might as well be the radio, this player is for you! Now, if we get into the radio itself, its horrible. There's constant static. You have to tune to every station by hand. The station slowly changes on its own, probably contributing to the terrible sound quality and constant annoying static. Also, it is nowhere in the instructions on how to set the time. Anywhere. Lots of random buttons that seemingly have no effect include no reference to "time"

Installation was also difficult and could not be completed with the instructions and tools they provided. Ended up putting my stock radio in, but it took me so long to install and figure out the terribleness of this item that they wont accept a return. Not the best customer service.

Essentially, this item and seller are not good. Avoid them.

Odd button placement and no presets!!!!
I purchased this stereo based on it's price and good reviews, apparently I should have paid a bit more attention to the details. This stereo is awkward in it's setup with the volume on the right and the station selection dial on the left. This is a setup that I am not used to and is a pain to change while I am driving.

The other thing that is quite strange is the lack of radio station presets. There are six buttons at the bottom of the stereo and none of them besides the aux button are of much good.

If you are only going to use this for an ipod or as a cd player then this is a great stereo, but if you listen to the radio even just once in a while then this is not the stereo for you.

sounds much better than the factory aerostar cd player. works fine. tuning knob feels a bit cheesy (to be xpected) not a bad unit. i even hooked an mp3 player to it and that sounded good. give it a shot . amazon has a great return policy if it gets damaged during shipping so what have you got to lose

Dangerous fire hazard
Well I was somewhat enjoying the tuner until I plugged it in one day and it started shooting out sparks and smoking. But even when it wasn't catching on fire the quality was not great and it was way too bulky. It worked less than 2 months.

Worth the money
After looking at a bunch of reviews for quite a few FM transmitters, I came across this one. I was really leary of spending a lot of money for something that was getting less than desirable reviews. Well I decided to take a chance on this one as it was reasonably priced. I am glad I got this one! It only has 16 preset frequencies, but luckily that was not a problem for me . I found one that works very well (106.7). I live in the St. Louis area. The sound quality will never be the same as a cd player or fm radio but for the little amount spent on it, it's worth it. You will get static on it no matter what but for me it hasn't been that bad and it does tend to get better. I think it has a lot to do with where you are and how much broadcasting is going on in that area. I work near the airport and it seems that every time I get close to work, the static increases. When I leave work and get away from the airport the sound is fine. It is white so someone may have an issure with that. For me I dont care as long as it works. I am glad to finally be able to play my MP3 in my truck. I would definitely recommend this unit--it's great for the money!

for use in that AUX imput on your car
A good quality car to ipod cable. I bought cheapo models that break at the stress point where the cable meets the jack. This jack is pretty beefy and should last a long time even when they are jerked at bit in a car.

Works great with my iPad
I purchased the Pioneer DEH-2200UB CD Receiver with iPod Direct Control and USB Input and needed an auxiliary cable since my iPad was not compatible with the iPod input. This cable is perfect! The length is just right and the heads fit snugly in place. Using the receiver's auxiliary input I can now listen to my music on my iPad through my cars stereo speakers. I especially like that the cable is black and gray instead of white that sounds out like a sore thumb. The cable blend nicely with the receiver and the interior of my vehicle.

Nice quality cable
There's nothing wrong with this cable that really deserves mentioning other than that the rubber on the ends are too thick. If you have a thick case for your ipod or have little room like on a nano, squeezing this cable with a car charger is impossible. I understand its quality but how often does your cable rip at the head. more often than not, its the rubber around the actual wiring becomes stripped or it gets detached near the base of the tip and where it connects to the wire. I'm sure they meant well by making one that is thick and built nicely but it just seems a little too big for me. for other ipods though, it may be better. for the price though, it's well worth it. quality from the cable is nice and i don't hear any static from my car speakers. this is definitely better than those 99cents cables mailed from china that get stripped in 2 weeks. save yourself some time and just invest 8 dollars in a quality one like this.

I've had this cable for almost 2 months now and have not had any problems. The length is perfect to connect to the aux-in input on my stereo. With previous cables I had problems with the audio dropping in and out depending on the position of the cable. So far this has not been a problem. Pleased with my purchase.

Works very well with iPOD or Sansa MP3 player

Easy to use but not lacking features
Easy to use, good looking high quality deck for short money. The MP3 capability is a huge sound upgrade. Easy to navigate this radio and the remote is quick and responsive. Overall I have to say this Sony was a pleasant surprise which I do highly recommend for anyone who wants a factory upgrade without breaking the bank. Best feature in my opinion is the subwoofer decibel level control which boost the sub in my trunk and makes a huge bass increase. Overall just a great solid radio!

Buy this receiver before they run out!!
Great sounding radio at a really great price. I like the one I put in my Jeep Cherokee so much I bought 2 more for, one for my Sebring and one to go in my girlfriends' Cavalier. Great sound, lots of hook up options. I use the ones in the Sebring and the Cavalier to send signals to 6 1/2" powered Bazookas and the unit still sends amplified signals to the other speakers in the car. Nice.

Great Stereo!
This was definitely a good upgrade for my 2000 mustang. My tape adapter wasn't cutting it and I am always listening to my ipod in the car. This radio is perfect. I get a nice clear sound through the auxiliary input and after adjusting the tones and bass, it sounds great! You can adjust the input volume on the stereo so you do not have to turn the volume up real high, so when you switch back to the radio, it's not blasting in your face. I also noticed a clearer sound to the radio stations.
The ease of installing depends on your car really. I would suggest taking the stock radio out and taking a look at the wires before you purchase the wire harness needed. I ended up having to buy another harness when I pulled out the radio and discovered I have the ford premium sound system.
Only thing that bothers me is that it is a little lose on the right side of the stereo but not so much that it moves around when I am driving. There are these little cutouts on the locking-case that you can push down to fit it in better but it still moves a little bit for me on the right side. Depending on your car you may have a different result.
Overall it is a great stereo, especially if you want to use your ipod or just want better sound out of your speakers.

I BOUGHT THIS CD PLAYER A WHILE BACK AND IT HAS GREAT BASS AND HIGH HIGHS. IT MAKES THE FACTORY SPEAKERS IN MY CAR SOUND OUTSTANDING. IT CLIPS ON SO EASY TOO. YOU WILL LOVE IT.

Great Radio
Nothing extremely special about this radio. Very good price, and does just what it needs to do. Just the right amount of options on radio, not too much not too few. Very happy so far.

My USB doesn't work with my iphone
I think the radio is great and everything works fine, the sound is great. However, I had two problems, first you better understand that is bluetooth ready, meaning, it is not included!! you have to buy a bluetooth adapter. Second, my iphone doesn't work with the usb adapter and that was the MAIN reason I bought the damn radio. I am not sure if I have to do a software update or what but that is very, very annoying. If anyone knows how to fix that problem please let me know. Thanks.

really I like DUAL and its an excellent option for low budget.

Cheap electronics and poorly designed firmware
AM band never produced anything but static.
Folder browsing USB drives or MP3 Discs is not intuitive and easy to get lost.
USB jack is only powered when selected.
HD would tune in and out repeatedly when the signal was weak constantly interrupting the music.
No option to turn off HD when signal was weak.
FM band failed after 18 months. Resetting the unit no longer restores the band as it had in the past.

(I'm an electrical engineer - I installed it correctly.)

DUAL WINS THE DUEL.
Put the XHD6425 up against car stereos costing twice as much, and it is still no contest. This baby is remarkable. With built-in CD player, separate auxiliary and USB inputs plus HD radio, this head unit has most of the features any car audio aficionado could want. The remarkable part is you get all these features for less than 80-bucks! I was blown away by the fidelity of HD-FM. Much of the FM material sounds as good-- or better than-- CDs. And I found the tuner was surprisingly sensitive. Not sure all the controls are intuitive. But once you spend a little time with the radio and the instruction manual, you'll pick up the functions. Hats off to Dual. I can't imagine getting a much better radio at any price.

Great Stereo
I've had the stereo for a month or so now, and I love it. The HD is perfect, the USB port is everything I need. I just use a one GB flash drive(for audio books), and when I'm done with it, I go to the computer and put a new one on. If I get tired of my flash drive, I just switch back to the radio. It saves where you were last on the USB mode. So... This radio is pretty much everything you'd need in a car stereo system.
