No longer a pain in the neck
Working on my Google AdWords campaigns became a literal pain in the neck. While viewing my monitor the additional hours each day, I developed pain in my neck and shoulders, It was suggested that I raise my monitor and by doing so change the positioning of my head while viewing. It sounded simple enough so I purchased the monitor stand. The pain went away and I increased space on my desk. Killed two birds with one stone.
Very Acceptable
I wanted A monitor stand so I could set my center speaker of my 5.1 computer sound system under it. Monitor stand stats will tell you how high it raises the moniter but not the clearence under the stand top. I needed about 4.25 inches. This stand gives me 5 inches of under the lower edge of the stand top...this is excellent. I even have a little room to tilt the speaker up if I choose. Six inches is the total height it raises the monitor. Its a 21.5 inch Dell wide screen monitor. I do not know what it weighs but the stand top does not sag. I give it a thumbs up. Not wide enough to slide your keyboard under but that is not what I bought it for.
IT SAGS!
Update: Watch out for this one....... I have my 27" iMac on it. A full 8lbs under the maximum. It is now sagging. I could probably cut a piece of wood and make a pier to place in the middle.... but I plan on replacing this and using it with my printer......... avoid getting this if your computer is (my best guess) more than 15lbs.

I purchased this to use with my 27inch iMac. The iMac weights in at 30lbs so it is 10 under the max for this stand. I looked at many stands at local stores. Had trouble finding one that would give the height I needed and still be able to handle the iMac. I am 6'6" tall so I needed something with height. The stand appears to be well made. It blends in well with my glass/metal computer unit. If you are needing something for height this is it. The keyboard easily fits beneath it if you want.
UPDATE: Someone had mentioned it sagged..... made me hesitate on buying it..... glad I took a chance. I placed a few books so that they just barely touched the middle of the underside of the stand. Now after many weeks it has not sagged at all.
Excellent Buy
This stand is an excellent solution to raise your monitor. I now own two of these two hold my 23" monitors in my office. There is just enough space below with 1 of the removable height units on to store what you may need.

Cheap Price, Great Quality!
Neater desk and less neck and back pain
I bought this product for my desk at work. It is near perfect! My flat screen monitor fits on top with enough extra room to store my keyboard for when I need a little extra desk space. The area underneath the stand is spacious enough for my sticky notes, hand lotion, etc. So my desk looks neater. Now I can sit up straight and have the middle of the screen at eye level, no more scooching down in my chair. Being able to sit up for the 7+ hours that I am at my desk has made my back and neck hurt less.

Pantone huey Pro MEU113
It’s all about the color: Color in your photos. Color in your designs. And it all starts with accurate color on your screen. Photographers understand that a color-managed workflow is essential to obtain true color from capture, to edit, to print; but what you see on-screen is only as accurate as your display. Over time, the color performance of monitors changes – phosphors and liquid crystals fade, causing the display to drift into unknown colors. hueyPRO automatically brings back the true colors, so whether you are editing photos to print, sell or share with others, gaming or shopping on-line, you deserve to see the right color on your display. The hueyPRO delivers extensive controls in an affordable, easy-to-use solution designed to calibrate and profile all types of LCD and CRT displays. Each package includes an emission-only colorimeter with ambient measurement capabilities and intuitive software. Designed with the same advanced optical color sensors as the i1Display product family, hueyPRO’s optical sensors provide the same accurate on-screen color that used to only be available to professionals, PLUS automatically measures the ambient light within a room for precision calibration. Even after the calibration process, hueyPRO will observe the light falling on the display and apply your personal preferences for viewing accuracy, any time of day. hueyPRO INCLUDES hueyPRO colorimeter with USB power cord, hueyPRO device cradle, hueyPRO profiling software and Quick Start Guide. hueyPRO’s increased color accuracy combined with the ability to calibrate multiple monitors delivers the solution you need to accurately view your images. With its customizable white point and gamma combinations, enhanced LCD calibration and Advanced Help, the hueyPRO is the answer to your color needs.

huey pro review
I ordered this product and received it very promptly (3 days). It installed on Windows 7 without any glitches and worked as I expected. Although it doesn't offer as many color patches as some of the pricier units it did a very good job calibrating my lcd monitor. The calibration is very close to the Pantone swatches and I am using it to color correct commercial photos.
Great Product and Excellent Customer Support
After reading some of the negative reviews about the company... I thought I would offer my experience as of Aug 2010. I originally received the standard Pantone Heuy as a gift. I ended up getting poor results.. a blue tint to everything. I searched the web for a solution and then contacted Pantone. They told me that some versions of the hardware had issues. They did not say if the problems were compatibility issues or just a bad batch in manufacturing. They responded to my e-mails in 24 hours and I received the replacement in less than 3 days. So does receiving a bad item deserve a DING or a PRAISE?

I say A+ customer service. They stood behind their product! They did not make me jump through hoops. They were very responsive.

OK... as for the product.... I am using Windows 7 64-Bit with a dual Screen LCD setup. The calibration process was unbelievably easy for both monitors (2-3 minutes). I use to borrow an Eye-One in the past and the Eye One process was much more difficult (adjusting R G B on the monitor menu, each adjustment affecting the other) and time consuming (about 20 min) and the results look the same to me. Also it was only able to do one monitor and did not adjust to ambient light.

The Heuy Pro: price is better.... the process is easier and the results seem to be the same.

The before and after results are obvious but subtle... they are more significant when printing.
No problem here
I bought a Huey a few months ago, then upgraded to the pro version the other day.

I am mystified as to why so many users report terrible results. In my case, the software installed without a hitch, and the calibration is spot-on.

I don't use the room light compensation feature. I want consistency.

I also don't use the periodic recalibration feature. Hey, it's a 24" P-MVA monitor; it doesn't drift very much, if at all.

The Huey (not HueyPro) software was a bit oversimplistic. At the end of the calibration process, it offered numerous options such as "games" or "photo editing." It reminds me of mp3 players where you can choose different equalization settings such as "jazz" or "vocals." Please, just render an accurate (flat) result, okay? Turns out the "photo" setting is D65, G2.2, or what you want all the time anyway.

Happy camper here.
Windows 7 Crashes: This Might Help
This review is about the HueyPro MEU113, shipped from an Amazon Merchant.

When I first received the product and installed it, as the instructions said, it crashed. I called tech support and they had no advice, except to try it on another PC. I found out, later, that my Windows 7 User Profile was corrupted, and there was no documented way to fix it besides creating a fresh user profile.

Remarkably that worked for me, and I was able to calibrate my monitor after booting to the new user profile.

I noticed, however, that I was getting a green tint on my monitor, after calibration. That, and I was unable to follow the instructions on getting the white and black rings to appear as one (the brightness/contrast issue that a lot of people have). I have an el-cheapo monitor, which may be of lesser quality. So instead of returning the device, I simply turned down the green on my monitor and recalibrated. That seemed to do the trick.

Also, I noticed that from certain angles, the color tint is different, and my monitor doesn't really hold the tint very well. So even after you've calibrated, you can run into a situation where your monitor is not tilted at the right angle, or needs to be recalibrated, and it will definitely show a tint on LCD monitors of lesser quality.

So that sort of might explain why some people are getting a bad tint, and to adjust your monitor if you do, because you *can* get good color after you adjust it some. But I can understand, too, how some units just might be defective.

I'm giving it 4 stars because it's good that it actually works "well enough" to get to this level of color calibration. However, I'd recommend something more pricey for professionals who need "great" calibration.
Night and day
If you've noticed that your photographic prints don't look like they do on your monitor, then it's time for a colorimeter. Virtually every monitor--including high-quality monitors that you might find on a Mac--come out of the box with exaggerated colors. You can't really blame the manufacturer: if you see vibrant colors on a monitor, you're more likely to buy it. On top of that, there is some variation between individual units and in the way your computer drives them. If you're editing a photograph, your colors will be off because your monitor is off.

Enter colorimeters like the Huey. In a very simple procedure, the Huey sticks to your monitor with tiny suction cups. A software program sends colors to your monitor that the Huey reads and compares to what the colors should be. A small file is generated which your computer uses to compensate the monitor. The result is colors that are much closer to what's really in your images.

I work with a multiple-monitor system, with monitors from different manufacturers (currently Samsung and HP). The Huey calibrates these very different monitors so that images look virtually identical when moved between them. That's a pretty good test of color calibration. I can't honestly say how the Huey stacks up with other units. At some point I'll need to move to a colorimeter that can also calibrate a printer. I do know that ANY colorimeter is better than none. Even an inexpensive unit like this Pantone Huey makes a huge difference. Whether printed on my own Epson pigment printer or by a commercial service, my prints now look like what I see on my monitor.

There's one thing you should know as soon as you're nicely calibrated. Many print services--Shutterfly, for example--automatically add saturation to images you send them. This is based on the assumption that your monitor isn't calibrated. You can turn this feature off when you use the service and it's a very good idea to do so.

Nice size computer, bad sensor design!
This is a very nice computer. Everything you need to look at in one screen. However I'm very disappointed with the cadence and fork sensors. The fork sensors was easy to install the cadence on the other hand was irritating, had to black tap and zip tie the gadget on the bottom part of the frame. Wish it came with a bigger magnet because this thing is sensitive and hard to get a reading. The worst thing about this product are the sensors. When the batteries dies, you have to literally pry open the plastic in order to switch out the dead batteries and reglue or if you still have the warranty you can ship it to Polar to get it fix. Seriously Polar WTF, I just want to turn a knob or unscrew the sensor in order to change batteries out and save earth, not adding more trash to it. Plus this plastic cadence is not universal and I have a 2009 cervelo. Polar needs help in the industrial design department. If I were you, go get the Garmin 500.
Almost perfect
Im very pleased with my unit, i've been using different kinds for the last 3 years and this its overall the best one. Great reading options, all in one. The backlight display its great when i train at night :).
The only con for me, its that it saves your workout per day. So when you want to check your weekly distance you have to sum each day, there is no total distance. Enjoy
Great all-in-one device for your bike...
... but don't waste your time with the cadence sensor if you are a mountain biker. You can't really keep a regulary cadence mountain biking, and the thing gets knocked out of position constantly anyway.

Takes a little bit of fiddling to install, and then configure, but once done its great having all your speed, distance, heart rate etc all on one screen.
was not happy with it
I used this monitor for about a year, until I got my Garmin Edge. The main problem I had with the Polar product was it's inability to accurately track my heart rate. It would fluctuate (while I was riding) from ~55 to ~220. It almost seemed as if it were measuring 1/2 my heart rate, or double my heart rate. It would sporadically jump from what I thought was about right (120-150 bpm) to around half that number, then stay there for a while, then go back to the range I expected. Then jump to around twice the bpm, then back down. I don't mean to say that it continuously did this. It would also track my heart rate accurately (or, at least in a reasonable range) for some periods. But the periods of inaccuracy were substantial, like 20 to 30% of my ride (usually 1-2 hrs of riding, so 15 to 40 min of incorrect readings). Enough so that I ignored all the results dependent on heart rate.

I was surprised by this - I think Polar is in the business of tracking heart rates. I thought their parent company made health care equipment?? I tried everything I could think of to correct the problem. New batteries, making sure the contact was good (moist) on the strap, limiting distance from strap to the unit, etc. Nothing helped.

Anyway, suffice it to say that my Garmin Edge 305 (which I've used for 4 years now, usually 5-10 times per week), has never had any of these issues.

I tried to Craig's List the CS200 a while back, but to no avail. I just tossed it out - an expensive experiment.

I liked the Polar's chest strap more than the Garmin's. That's why I gave the unit 2 stars instead of one. I wish I could use it's strap with the Edge.
After the setup, works great
While I understand why, it would be nice if this kit, which is specifically sold as a cadence kit, came with the computer set to have cadence on! Here is why...

Getting this mounted on the bike is a very straight forward process and the instructions walk you through the steps. But, imagine your frustration trying to get the cadence sensor to light up while installing on the bike (first few pages of the manual) when the setting to enable cadence is about 40 pages later. Even if there was a simple line, "Please make sure cadence is enabled before you test your bike installation, details on page X," that would have improved things. The manual does a nice job otherwise.

Once the unit is on the bike and you start riding, this bike computer really shines. There are a lot of settings that you can tweak to your hearts content. With auto start-stop, basically, you go out and ride. I like that I can see speed, distance, heart rate, and cadence all in one view. You have a bunch of choices for your view depending on what you like, and flipping through the views is just a single button during the ride.

Once you are back after the ride, it is very easy to review the workout data. Highly recommend and this would be a five-star rating if they managed to sell it with cadence enabled by default.

Laptop Speakers
The B-Flex speaker sounds great if you are watching DVDs.You want ear phones if you are listening to music. I'm quite happy with the B-Flex.
SOUND
Laptop speakers are just not strong enough. This speaker helps and that's about it. I was thinking that it mite work with the sound system already in the laptop, but that was, of course, wrong. I have a very nice HP that I got about three months ago and I think the sound needs a little more strength. I have the regular computers and this is my first laptop so I am a novice and this device is only a little bit better than what I have. I kept it, but my husband has a toshiba laptop and he says that he would have returned it.
These do what they say they'll do
Not much to write about. I bought two--for my wife's HP and my Dell. both work great. It boosts just enough to help mother in law hear. It is not high quality, but they don't promise that. I can hook up to my sound system if I need it.
Simply Amazing On My HP Laptop!!
I was very disappointed with the sound on my new HP laptop I had custom made....so I bought this. I'm left simply amazed with the sound & wonder why I waited so long to buy it. If you want excellent sound & sound quality, then this speaker is for you. But fair warning, turn down the sound on your computer before you use it for the first time :-)
Great product
I have had this speaker for a few months and have used it while traveling many times and it works great and provides just enough sound and is extremely easy to use. I highly recommend it. I use it mainly to listen to music on my computer in hotel rooms where it is perfect. It is not a substitute for something like a logitec speaker system (which I have in my home) but as a traveling speaker, it could not be better.

Good buy
Great monitor riser. It's very basic. You just remove the number of pieces that you need to from the legs to get the stand to the right level. It's simple and works great!
Works great with my 28" LCD monitor
I use it with my Hanns-G 28" monitor since it can not be raised or lowered. It holds up it's weight and size just fine.
Great product for laptop/monitor users
We got laptops to replace our towers at the school where I work, and the tech guy just hooks the laptop up to my monitor and leaves! I'm a school counselor and every inch of desk space is precious real estate to me. I'm trying to lay out binders and transcripts and report cards, and here is this huge laptop on a docking station taking up about 15 square inches of my desk, PLUS the base of my large Dell monitor. So, I'm trying to find a sturdy metal stackable, or anything that will allow me to raise my monitor and slide the laptop under it to free up some space. No such luck. This product fits the bill nicely, and looks pretty decent (basically just fades away) while doing it. The main drawback is that I still struggle to reach behind it to turn on the laptop at the docking station, but this is really a flaw on the part of Dell, and certainly not anything that 3M can control. Mainly, at $30, the price is the biggest drawback. I would do it again, but I can see this product being at a big box store for $15-$20, not the $30 that I paid. However, it meets my needs, and I would buy it again for the same price.

A couple of notes: It is plastic, and looks like plastic. Not bad looking, but not high end.

It feels much more sturdy than the picture above indicates. It seems more horizontal than the picture shows, and I am using two of the included increments. I have plenty of room for my monitor, and room for several regular sized post-it notes around the base:)

I have a hutch-type computer desk, and my monitor is almost too tall using two of the increments. I had to lift and tilt it to get it inside the decorative facing, and it hides the top frame(?) of the monitor. One of my co-workers has a slightly different style hutch, and it looks like she has plenty of room up top. Most likely yours will fit without measuring, but you may want to get out the tape measure, just to be certain!
bennjeri
Very nice product; however, measurements are not accurate. I purchased the one that measures 15" x 12" and my 12" laptop DOES NOT fit under the stand so I had to return it for a larger model.
Monitor Stand
I needed a stand where I can put a small LCD TV on and be able to store things under the stand. This works. Thought price was a little high but couldn't find anything else that I thought could work. I'm happy with the overall product.

External hard drive:Allsop 27021 Metal Art Jr Monitor Stand (Pewter)
Allsop 27021 Metal Art Jr Monitor Stand (Pewter)
Strange, but true - not every desk is designed with a computer in mind. I know it is hard to believe in this day and age, but whatever. And what about those of you using a countertop or table as a computer desk? Sure the computer will fit ¿ the monitor goes behind the keyboard, the CPU goes , well, the CPU goes wherever the wires allow. You can just pull up a folding chair and start clicking away. But that does not sound very appealing, does it? No ergonomics there. The Metal Art Jr. helps your computer fit into your life. Both in function and in form. Forged from steel, it provides a sturdy shelf for your monitor or printer. And there¿s space beneath for your keyboard or other office supplies. Its compact base makes it perfect for flat panel monitors and even laptops. The simple curved design and powder-coated finish aren¿t meant to match your computer. They help create a balance between the comfortable feel of your home or office and the technical convenience of your computer. In a nutshell, the Metal Art Jr. gives your monitor or laptop a lift and looks good doing it.

Pewter is an interesting name for this color
It's a solid stand at a good height but this color is more like "canteen" than "pewter." Holla.
This is a perfect product
I purchased this stand to raise my laptop off the desk.
I have limited desk space and my keyboard and mouse are on a pull out drawer beneath the desk top. This makes work space available under the laptop.
I highly recommend the product for the above application or to raise you monitor or printer off a fixed surface. The construction is of a superior nature and extremely sturdy.
Attractive and well made

Does what it's supposed to, looks good doing it, and has a quality/durable construction.

In my current setup I have a work laptop, 24" LCD, and an older 17" LCD. The way my desk is these were all way too low, so I was stacking books to get them at a comfortable height.

My first inclination was to get a wall mounting arm (the clamp ones won't work with the desk I have), and I was leaning towards the LX series. The problem is once these are mounted, if you get a new monitor or want to change the arm position etc, it's a real pain because you need to remount/cover up the old holes...

So instead I started looking for monitor platforms, something that would do what my books were doing, and I found these. Because of my setup it made sense to get allsop's whole line: the notebook redmond stand, the large art monitor stand, and the regular redmond stand.

They're perfect for what I need, way more flexible than a mounting arm would have been, and look damn stylish on my desk!
Works great for my Xbox 360
I bought this to use for my xbox 360, which is in an enclosed tv cabinet. The door frame, which has glass was a little higher than the xbox, so I need something to raise the system up.
I was looking for an xbox stand, but the only ones they make are for vertical position, which wont work. I need it to be horizontal.

I should mention that I didn't buy this exact model. I bought the Allsop 523089 from Office Depot. The dimensions on this particular Amazon version is a little over an inch higher than the one I got, which makes a big difference in my particular tv cabinet. Unless there is a typo on the product details. It looks exactly the same and more importantly it works great.

Great little stand!
I'm using this for my HP Laserjet 1020 and it's the perfect size. Very sturdy. I recommend this stand for small printers.

Very nice quality. Perfect for my needs. Rcvd in 2 days.
Ordered this unit 08/30/10. I received it 09/01/10. It will coordinate well with all of the other black mesh desktop and organization items in my cubicle at work. I purchased this shelf for my printer and electric stapler to sit on top off and my big, printing calculator and other equipment (stapler, tape dispenser, etc.) to sit beneath. The built in pocket on the one side will relieve some smaller clutter. Since I am not using the drawer with the shelf, I am going to zip tie it beneath the modular shelf on my partition wall and it will be a supplemental paper tray. I am very pleased with the product, speedy delivery, condition and quality of the item. This is actually a bargain price, especially considering it arrived so quickly. 100% percent positive buying experience!
Great for daughter's dorm desk!
I was on the hunt for a printer stand for my daughter's dorm room desk. Even though this is marketed as a monitor stand it works perfectly for her printer! Perfect size and extra storage underneath for paper along with storage on the side for note pads. The stand is very sturdy and the price simply cannot be beaten. Shipping was incredibly quick. If you are looking for a printer stand at a great price - you've found it.
Disappointed and Upset with the Product
This product arrived scratched with the black paint chipped off all over. It looks like it's been picked up at a yard sale rather than bought new. It's also uneven on the bottom so it rocks back and forth even with my monitor on top. I'm so disappointed and upset with the product but will keep since it's not even worth my time to return it. Gave it 2 stars instead of 1 since the product does what it's supposed to do (be a stand for my monitor) and the drawer and side pockets are a nice touch.
Nice Stand
The stand is metal, much better than the plastic one it replaced and has a nice look to it.
Stand and Delivers
Great value for money monitor stand that looks good and functions well.

The black mesh look blends well with my predominantly black computer equipment and is a huge improvement over the pile of telephone directories I was previously using.

The stand is sturdy enough for a regular or large flat panel monitor without problem but I wouldn't want to try a large/heavy CRT (old-style) monitor, if anyone still uses one.

The design has a couple of nice features - 2 side compartments for holding the little stuff that can clutter a desk, such as post-it notes, paper-clips, pens, usb jump drives, etc. and a slide out tray large enough to hold letter-size paper easily. The tray is a mesh basket with one side open. I read another review that said things kept falling out of the open side at the back but I turned my tray the other way around and have the open side at the front; this made more sense to me. If you prefer to use the under-stand space without the tray you could just remove it completely and have just over 5" of clearance.

For the price I paid, I could not have hoped for a better stand.

Garmin forerunner Bike Mount
This is a simple, easy to install accessory for holding my Garmin 305 in a convenient location during my rides. You just attach it with the two zip ties to the handlebar and put on your Garmin just like putting on your wrist
Works As Advertised
Pretty straight forward - that's how I'd describe this product. It is a flexible piece of rubber that wraps around your bicycle handlebars. I use it on a road bike and it fits nicely. I put it on the cross member of the handlebars. You can fasten it with the enclosed ties, but I just close the wrist band on my Forerunner 305 around it to hold it in place. No issues, no complications, no complexity!
Handy piece of equipment
The item is great for using with a bike, but there are three negatives on it.
1) The round opening is too large for my steeringwheel. Garmin should have included a conversion piece for smaller diameter handlebars.
2) Agree with other reviewer that the straps are not needed, plus I have two bikes I switch between, and I rather do not buy two of these.
3) The wristband goes around easily, but I have a quick release velcro wristband and to keep it snug (likely because of my smaller diameter steering wheel), I have to overlap a bit which makes it difficult to attach.

All that said, still get it. It is soo much easier to use on the bike then on your wrist, I just love it!!
Simple, effective
Works as advertised to hold your forerunner on your handlebars. Can be a little clunky to do the watch strap up is you have brake cables etc criss-crossing along your handlebars. Easier to use your forerunner than on your wrist, but not so handy if you need quick transition from bike to running or similar.
Just what I needed
I used to wear my Forerunner on my wrist as I biked but it got real annoying checking my distance and pace and having to lift my hand off the handlebar to look. Now I can just look down and the watch NEVER moves. It works perfectly.

Value for the price
Just bought them last week with doubt on how the stuff is ? as I had 2 bad experiences of headhphone earlier, But when I tried them, they sound terrific, The Bass could sound bit flat on iPOds however when I used my Sony netmd those sounds like thunder.

Those are very easy on ears, so one can wear for long.I think I found what I was looking for, Overall a recommended buy for serious listeners.

Great bArgain
GReat Product. I can't stand cheap headphones, but these are a different story. They sound great and cost less than many other inferior headphones.
Great Earphones
I use these earphones to practice my electric guitar. I've owned them for about six weeks. Bass is a little heavy, but overall the sound is fantastic. They are a great buy for the price.

PASC12 good monitor for the $$$
The Pyle Pro stage monitor PASC12 is a good piece of equipment for
the money. I found it a little weak on bass, but the all-important
vocal reproductions come thru well and this is what a monitor is
all about. I like the fact that there is no carpet covering to pick
up trash from the stage floor and the lack of carpet covering doesn't
seem to hurt the acoustics.
