Perfect for my Dell 1525
This is a brand new OEM Dell AC adapter / charger. This charger has a cord much longer than the original one that came with my laptop (1525). Have been using it every day for a month now with no issues at all. For the people that say it does not work on their Dell 1525's, maybe it's the battery or another problem?

Works as advertised
My wife needed an additional adapter that she could leave at work so I purchased this item even though I am very wary of buying refurbished products. Turns out it works great. Two of these equals the cost of one new adapter directly from Dell.

Power cord and charger
I recently got a Dell Studio 15 from the Costco website and was looking for an additional power cord to keep at a different location so I wouldn't have to carry the supplied cord back and forth. Looked at several sites, including Dell and Amazon and after searching found this cord on Amazon which looks to be OEM. Had it about a month and so far seems to work ok, but only occasional use. The only reason I gave it a 4 star vs 5 star so far is that at the plastic connection where the cord plugs into the transformer, it doesn't fit a smoothly as the original cord connection. The male end seems a little too big but since its plastic I seem to be able to have gotten it to fit tightly enough for a good enough electrical connection. Otherwise seems to work as expected and was definitely cheaper than the Dell website with shipping on top of that.

does not charge the laptop
The Dell Studio laptop recognized the charger a few times but it took a little jiggling of the thing and a couple tries. Since then a pop-up consistently tells me that 'The AC power adapter type cannot be determined. Your system will run slower and the battery will not charge. Please connect a Dell 90W AC adapter or higher for best system operation.' Of course, it could be a problem not with the adapter but with the laptop itself. Regardless, the two dont work properly together. It seems like the piece that connects the charger to the laptop is a little bit too small.

Dell OEM for anteasonable price
My original power supply stopped working and would not charge my battery, this one said OEM and was half the price so I decided to give it a try and it works perfectly. Now I just need to get a new OEM battery and my E1505 will be running great again.

A good budget PS but noise level is high
I have this running a Biostar G41-M7/Intel Celeron Dual-core budget combo in an Antec tower case. I like the 4 SATA connectors. You can definitely hear it while running. For the price, it's hard to beat.

Make sure it will fit your case, or be ready to make it fit..
I got a HP 753N with a 200w PSU that burned out a while back, I was sort of put off of buying a new one due to the price of a new one. I ended up looking for a PSU online and found this for $20 bucks, a great deal. So I went ahead and ordered it up and it came in the mail today, the 200w PSU was about 1 1/2-2 inches shorted than the 400w and it didn't install very easily due to the case design and the CD drive being so close, my fault for not measuring. After a little work on the inside of the case with some metal shears and some pliers, pushing a few things around i did make it work, with only 1/2 clearance between the back of the CD drives and PSU. Powered right up and runs perfectly silent. Worth every Penny, but make sure it fits before you order..

Cheap and it works, Great bargain power supply
Not much to say, I've used 6 of these now, so far so good, its is a little noisy, but not bad.

Bottom line is: This is a bargain price power supply, if you are a computer enthusiast it is not for you.

DOA
Bought this cheap power supply for an old computer and I should have known better. This thing was DOA. One positive note was that it has many SATA connectors. But on the other hand few molex connectors.

Very Pleased
I ordered this for my 8 year old CyberPower PC. Installation was simple and everything is working. I wasn't sure this was my problem so the low price made it easy for me to try this and avoid an expensive service call. Glad I did!

Power Supply Doesn't Work

by Global Marketing Partners fails to function following installation - I will have to order another one from a different vendor.

No instructions included
First off I noticed that several people said that this power supply is loud. I do not have that same problem. My only concern was the fact that instructions/diagrams did not come with the packaging. Instead there was an insert stating that I could go online to access it. This angered me because if I need a new power supply wouldn't that imply that my computer doesn't work? How can I go online for instructions before I insert the power supply? Other than that, I am very pleased so far with my purchase.

Good power supply! Good price!
This is a great little power supply that saved me big bucks. My local computer repair store charge $60.00 for it so I took it back for a refund and ordered the same one for $22.00 on Amazon...Thanks Amazon for keeping the prices real! I was about to just toss the HP desktop out the window...but it's up and running and thank God...XP is in the house!

Hmmm
I bought this to replace the power supply in my old PC, works ok, but I don't use anything under 700w in mine and they gotta have 2 PCIe connectors. I'm a little skeptical about a 500w PS with 4 peripheral AND 4 SATA and a PCIe connector. More convenient ? hmmm just more wires laying around inside the case if you aren't using them and I'm not going to be using 4 peripheral AND 4 SATA are you ?

Any way, I knew what I was getting anyway because I got it cheap. For those of you buying things from AMAZON, they are notorious for not having very good descriptions of products, so instead of getting burned or "taking a chance" LOOK the product up on other sites to not only get a better description but also better images and even opinions.
I continue to see people ordering things on AMAZON, not just PC parts, and having them say the description didn't say this or that. LOOK IT UP AT ANOTHER SITE...LOL

Excellent Power Supply
I've been using this power supply for a little while now. With 5 SATA connectors and 5 legacy connectors I didn't have to worry about what kind of drives I have in the computer. It's been very reliable. I am very happy with this PS.

Good Power Supply
I am using this power supply in a stand alone situation. It is very quiet, seems to have plenty of power, runs cool. I am using it to run a stack of SATA drives, and a cooling fan for them. Plenty of connectors, I am using five. I am not very conventional when it comes to using parts but this satisfies my needs very well and would recommend it to anyone who needs a good power supply

Don't waste your money!!!
Just spend some more $20 more and buy a real power supply.
I purchase this PS to use on my primary CPU, when i start my computer just trow away sparks, I decided that I don't care about the warranty on this unit and opened it to check to see what happend. I have see a worse unit than this CoolMax. Don't waste your money!!!

Power Supplies
My new 500w Coolmax Power supply is running great. A very good value for the price. I have another 550w power supply that cost me $85 more. This one works just as good for $35. All I received for my extra $50 is a blue light that glows from the computer but, I can't see it as my computer is in a cabinet with a door on it.

Very good as far as I can tell
From all my research on getting a powerful and reliable psu this one stands up there in the top ranks. I have had it for a week or so and it is doing it's job. I know it's living up to it's rating too because my system no longer shuts off under load when playing games using an nvidia gts250.

I am very serious about using as little energy as possible whether it's gas, electricity, etc., but I love playing the latest games on my pc---- I'm sure many of you do too so at least get an efficient psu. I feel at least somewhat better running an 80 plus psu in my system knowing that less energy is just being wasted as heat.

On the same "green" environmental tangent--- change your light bulbs to high efficiency CFL bulbs :) (or led)

P.S. If a psu could be "sexy" then this one definitely is sexy. It is super well built, has black meshing around the cables, and even comes in a sexy velvet pouch! At least by the looks it screams high quality. Corsair products always seem to do very well for me and others give them high ratings too. I definitely recommend their products. No flashy led's or lights in the psu necessary. Just black, industrial efficiency!

The best
Of the many computer parts and components I've bought so far, this appears to be the best. Top of the line quality appearance,wins awards for efficiency, and has a moderate price. All the cables are simple and bound together, and there is more than enough for everything I need. It is powering my old ATX motherboard just fine, along with my new GeForce 460 GTX, but I know I can continue to use it as I upgrade my motherboard later (has forward and backward compatibility.

Highly recommended.

Product Returned
Product quality problem; unit returned because of a defective internal fan. The PS measured less efficient than a 68 percent efficient unit being replaced, but that could have been related to the fan defect. No immediate plan to order a replacement.

Great and reliable power supply
If you're a power user like me, the mark of a good power supply is that when it does finally wear out it doesn't take your motherboard with it.
When my old power supply finally went, I chose this one. I was very happy with the quality of it and how well thought out the design was. It has excellent reviews and good strong output. It's everything a high-quality power supply should be.
((For those who are curious, my old power supply was a Thermaltake. It lasted forever and protected my motherboard when it did go. I have nothing bad to say about it. But after comparing the two I would buy the Corsair in the future, simply because it seems slightly better designed)).
I also appreciate the rating that Corsair gives their supplies. They give a much truer rating for their power supplies. This 550 is equivalent to the 750 rating on a cheap power supply. So don't be fooled by cheaper brands. You will almost certainly never need more power than this supplies, even in many dual graphic card setups.
This also had every power connection you might need for motherboards and 1 or 2 graphics cards as of July, 2010.

excellent performance
power supply has a rugged durable look, had it for two months with no problems, and the quality of the power supply is far superior to similar 650 watts i have seen-the difference can be seen from the packaging itself.

I've been using this for about a month and have had zero problems. It does what it advertises- provides power to my PC.

Both SATA Power Connectors break immediately upon installation
Just picked a TR2/430W power supply at a local store today to replace the faulty 5-year-old power supply in my Thermaltake enclosure. I was happy to see a dedicated SATA power cable with two SATA power connectors. However, the happiness didn't last long as the thin, brittle plastic wall on each SATA power connector broke immediately upon first attempt to install it. I subsequently picked the pieces that broke off, and found that the thing black plastic of which they are made breaks immediately upon any attempt to bend them even ever so slightly. I had to revert to my old SATA power adapter that I was using with the old power supply. Very disappointing!

Quiet power
I bought this to replace a Turbolink PS that released its smoke. This PS gives an upgrade in power, as well as providing more expandability. It is also just as quiet as advertised. Twin fans will help keep my HTPC cool, and I don't have to turn the TV up to hear it over the hum of fans!

What'd you expect really.
I was happy with everything because you can't really complicate anything. Personally for me, there was only 2 Sata connectors on one cord which was like at most 3 inches apart. I can't plug in both my Hard Drive + CD/Dvd Drive now becuase they're too far apart. Not that I even use my CD/Dvd Drive, but it was nice. Other than that, you really get what you're expecting.

Only one SATA power
This PSU is very decent but the problem is the SATA power connector. But there is only one strand of SATA power adapters that can connect either 2 SATA HDDs or ODDs. You can connect 1 ODD & 1 HDD because its too short. You have to purchase a molex to SATA power converter.

Great value. Works well

Computer power cord
The power cord works great and is compatible with my Dell Inspiron, my only issue is that the cord is a little bit shorter than my origianl Dell cord.

Not what I needed
The cord seems to fit my Inspiron 1521 adequately, but it is very short. Although I have a power strip on the floor next to my chair, the cord barely reaches and routinely falls and unplugs itself from the PC. Perhaps not the seller's fault, but the description did not make it clear to me that the cord was shorter than standard.

100% Operative
I am using DELL Inspiron 6400 and this adapter works as good as a Dell adapter. The cord length is different but it is no concern.

Cheap quality product
the quality of the product was cheap. Does not feel safe. But, for the money spent, it serves the purpose.

Junk!! Could have started a fire. Be Careful with this product!
Buyer Beware!!! Bought this for my Dell Inspiron Laptop. I had it for 2 months when the container (for lack of a better term) came apart at the seams. I had to wrap it in electrical tape. A month later the cord then started to have a bubble like thing near the adapter and I could feel the wires like they were unravelling inside the cord. The cord adapter was also loose where it plugged into my laptop and would occasionally fall out. One day I smelled an electrical smoke in the air, and found the container was literally smoking gray smoke and very hot to the touch. It could have started a fire! I wasn't even using my computer at the time, it was just plugged in, charging. In the garbage it went! You definitely get what you pay for.

Great buy!
The adapter that came with my laptop shorted out. This one was much cheaper than other adapters I have found, and it works perfectly with my Dell inspiron 1521 laptop! Very satisfied!

Duck Taped Now...need I say more? :-)
This product came to me with the ground plug split and some gooey stuff in the cracks. It is poorly assembled. It stopped working in less than 5 months. My husband, the engineer, said no grounding and wire broken between the charger/transformer and the wall. He replaced the cable from the transformer to the plug and it ran decent again and was finally grounded LOL, but it never really held well where it fits into the computer either. Just loose and falls out easy.

Over all, there isn't much nice to say.

Good quality power supply
Antec is highly rated, and this supply does not disappoint. Installation was very easy. The very quiet internal fan is barely noticeable. Even with a full load placed on this power supply, it does not get warm; this means it IS running more efficiently than the average power supply.

Great power supply
This has been a great power supply. It has plenty of connectors and has been able to satisfy the load without issue. I can't ask for much more, especially since it has lasted for well over a year.

Antec EA500 Computer Power Supply
I ordered this item through one of Amazon's other providers. Unfortunately they sent me a 250 watt Dell power supply. It was in the correct box but no where near the specifications of what I ordered. I ended up buying this power supply from my local Frys Electronics. Amazon has reimbursed me for the charges including shipping charges. I needed to upgrade the power supply in a used Dell computer I had recently purchased. I installed it a couple of days ago and I'm satisfied with its performance. It has many connectors, more that the one it replaced, so it would be suitable for most any installation. It's media drive connections are for SATA devices. Its installation went very well, the only exception being what to do with the extra cables.

Excellent!!!
Bought this Power Supply about 5 months ago to replace a power supply that died a hero. This is the quietest power supply I have ever had in any of my computers ever. And that says a lot. A great performer. My case noise was cut in half after I installed this PS. I liked it so much I bought another one for my daughters computer. No complaints. No issues.

so far, so good
this power supply really gets a workout in my music editing computer. so far, so good. i usually have several hard drives runing at once, as well as a dvd burner. it runs for 8 to 10 hours continuously. i am completely happy with this investment.

Great product for the money.
Needed to upgrade from a 250 watt supply for my new video card. This 500 watt diablotek PSU was just what I needed. Great price, easy to install and an excellent warranty. It's not fancy and it's not quiet, but very effective for what I needed and had all the power cords neccessary. There are more quiet models you can buy for more money, but I am satisfied with this for the price and I feel it will last long. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a budget 500 watt power supply.

Works fine
Works fine, however the layout of the socket, switch, etc., did not match the cutout of my HP case. I had to notch some sheet metal with tin snips. That might be an HP thing.

Everything i wanted
I needed something to upgrade my 250w psu. I was astonished to see a psu this cheap that put out 500w. Also, it surprised me to see that diablotek is backing this up with a 3 year warranty. This psu has no fancy features. It outputs the 500w and has all the connectors. Couldn't ask for more.
