Computer desk
Best price and perfect for my use as a solid base for my sewing/embroidery machines which need to be kept stable. Can be put together by an amateur like me.

Very nice workdesk!
This desk looks great and has alot of desktop space. Just received it last night and it was very easy to install. Took me over 3 hours but I was doing it by myself and decided not to use an electric screwdriver to prevent overtightened screws or damages, yes call me cautious :P

Anyway, the thing that impressed me from beginning to end for the installation was the well packaged parts and especially very well-labeled parts leading to major ease of installation. The instruction manual is very well-detailed and points out exactly which part number and screw number to use at each step. Very idiot-proof in my opinion. All pieces arrived in great condition. The keyboard plank had a minor scratch on the rear surface but nothing to really upset me about. One screw did not have its head indented properly so I couldn't use the Phillips screwdriver but thank goodness a bag of spare screws was included for each of the approximate 8 screw types. This is a nice luxury I rarely see other manufacturers provide.

My only other gripes about this desk are that:

1) The corner surface's single straight leg support seems to fall a little short. Maybe it's my uneven floorboards but I had to untwist the leveling wheel to its maximum support distance.

2) The 4 front legs also tend to be a bit sharp. During shipment they are covered by a black plastic sheath/protector. I usually wear slippers at home but I plan to drill holes into the sheaths and re-insert them before screwing the circular feet back in so that I would not accidentally cut my toes or feet when moving about at the desk. They should have made the plastic sheaths gray with openings at the bottom to let use simply attach the table feet right into the legs.

All in all still an excellent product and willing to give it 5 stars.

Great desk at a great price
I actually purchased this desk directly from [...] (through Amazon.com) because it was about $20.00 cheaper. The desk is pretty solid and enough space for all of my computer peripherals and more. It took a little over an hour to assemble myself, but would have likely easier with an additional pair if hands.

I was worried that the bolts would be cheap aluminum, as I have experienced with other desks, but to my surprise everything was solid.

Beautiful computer desk for Mac Mini
I bought this desk for my new Mac Mini. I set it up with the screened back and shelf in the high position (not shown in this photo -- photos of the blue glass version show how that configuration looks). The great thing about setting it up with the shelf above the monitor is that you can put the Mac Mini and other small hardware (small speaker amplifier, backup external hard drive, wireless router, etc.) on the shelf above the monitor, and the screen hides all of the wires. I put a surge protector with 8 electric outlets behind the screen, so there's only one visible cord between the desk and the wall (the Mac Mini and all of the other devices on the shelf plug into the surge protector, and the screen hides their cords). The shelf below is perfect for a wireless printer. A laptop (connected to the monitor) would work just as well as the Mac Mini, but I wouldn't recommend this desk so much if you have a tower desktop, because the design is so open, and there isn't much to hide wires from below. The black glass desktop is really elegant, and the reflection of the monitor off the black glass is very cool (if you have it set up like I do, not in the "down" configuration in the photo shown here, which requires the monitor to sit on top of the shelf). Also in the high configuration, there are several very useful attachments to the screen behind the monitor (a pen holder, note holder, and another attachment that's perfect for holding portable external hard drives).

It wasn't too hard to put the desk together. There's a really nice file cabinet with a black glass top that goes perfectly with this desk, but that one takes several hours to put together. If you set the desk up like I did (with only one wire between the desk and the wall), the rear wheels allow the desk to be moved around effortlessly. For the right computer configuration, this desk is really spectacular, and very reasonably priced.

Excellent Value and Features
This Desk is awesome. It is easy to assemble and it looks really nice. I love this Desk and It comes with an additional things such as the holder for pens and papers and a bill holder.

If you want a cheap desk...
I was very disappointed in the quality of this desk, and indeed with the whole experience. I suspect that, had I managed to complete the assembly, this would have been a slightly below-average cheap desk.

Opening the "box" was an entertainment, because the outer (brown cardboard) box was really just a wrap around the white box that the desk came in. Some enthusiastic soul had used yards and yards of packing tape to secure the one to the other. Net result of this was that I destroyed the original packing getting the damn thing out. This would be a problem when time came to return it.

The desk was poorly made. It felt quite flimsy and was surprisingly light. There was flashing and odd globs of metal in places that were meant to be smooth (such as the inside of mounting clamps) which gave me a chance to play with my Dremel.

I never managed to get it together, because at least one of the threaded holes was fouled deep inside, and tended to deform the thread of any screw put in to it.

So I went to Fred Meyer and bought a better desk for about the same money. At least I salvaged a decent sheet of blue tempered glass out of it.

looks great, difficult to assemble
this computer desk is amazing and fits well in the space i planned for it. great price and great quality. shipping took way too long from order date to shipping date and a few days for delivery.

assembly was almost impossible. following the given directions will get you no where. i had to skip a step and force certain parts to come together to make the finished product. i also had to bend a few pieces and leave one screw off because of the precise position of the entire assembly

Looks nice, but a few drawbacks
It's a very nice desk. It took several hours to put together, as expected, but all the parts were there and the directions were extremely clear. Unfortunately, the top of the desk juts out behind the hutch and there are no holes in the desktop for computer and electric cables.

This Desk Is PERFECT for my needs!
I needed a keyboard and mouse shelf lower than the desk I used, due to arm and shoulder problems. But the space available was only 29 inches wide. This desk fits nicely with a little space left. Now I'm able to use my computer more, getting more work done, enjoying my friends on facebook more, it is all better with the right equipment. So glad I found this desk!

this stand works pretty good, in the winter i shut down my living room 2 save on heating bills, move into bedroom, which does not have alot of space, this wheels really good and does not take up 2 much space, the top does not have alot of room, but it works for me

it ok for a chink slave...
This is ok - but kind of $$ for what you get. I have a Dell laptop and the bottom part that holds your pc - when you tilt it up is too small - I had to fix it with 2 screws of my own.
The top of it came cracked so i had to glue it myself.

in the end some one in china needs the chair for making this thing and
putting just about NO thinking into what they were really doing.

Very very flimsy & cheap construction
This product so flimsy that if you put a laptop on it with the tray raised, the left side of the tray just bends on the left without any support. Lukcy for me, I'm only going to put a wireless keyboard & mouse. If you are planning to use this for a laptop then its best to skip this product & go for a better one.

Cons: The plastic is a little cheap, the lock & key mechanism that held the trackpad panel in place broke on one side, so it no longer can hold the trackpad panel in place when it's turned upside down :(

I received it just a few minutes ago this way, it broke inside its package...

Other than that, I can still use it with just a little annoyance in that for storage purposes (upside down)

Very use full
I wasn't actually expecting much on this product based on all the negative reviews, but I am actually very surprised at how convenient it is. This is a great compact multi-purpose table/stand. I mainly use this for my laptop, as a table for drawing/drafting/writing, and a mini tray to eat. I work mostly on my floor in my room because of space and it's my most comfortable position. As such, this table full filled exactly what I needed.

Of course it's not without its negatives. The entire unit is made out of plastic, the main base and its legs are pretty thick but the extensions are not. You have to be careful with the leg extensions because its prone to warp and bend. The latches to hold up the front board at an angle is horribly designed. They are shape like upside down L's, because of this weight distribution for the board is uneven and will snap the latch in half. This is especially prone to heavy laptops as the weight will bend the latch to the left. The small compartment on the right side is great for pens and pencils, but they lift open from the top end instead of the bottom end, making it inconvenient to store and see items. The left top board has grooves on the surface which is good and bad depending on how you look at it. On the one had, its great for laptops because it provides ventilation, and on the other hand it is bad if you are using the unit as a table for anything else. I find myself having to put a separate board over the the grooves when I am using it for drawing,drafting,writing, and eating. The unit itself is still pretty small. A warning for others, this unit will not fit any laptops larger than 15". I wish it was a little larger, wider, and longer though, that way I would be able to use it as a portable coffee table.

But all in all, I am actually extremely pleased with this table. It is not perfect, but for those with little space it is completely practical and convenient.

Outstanding Mobile Cart
Great Mobile cart. Once it's set up it's really stable and works well. It comes in 3 or 4 boxes. There are a bunch of parts to put together, but it was all fairly straightforward.

Moke sure you have a roll of velcro to tidy up all the loose wires.

Very well designed bag
I have been using this bag daily for over a month now, and I have been very impressed with the thought that went into its design. Although aesthetically, there is nothing really notable about it, the quality and design of the bag are really exceptional. The interior is lined with bright green and grey nylon fabric, which makes pocket interiors very easy to see. The handle feels sturdier than any other bag I've ever owned, and is very comfortable to grip. The shoulder padding is fixed on the strap, and the strap length is adjustable from either side - which allows you to place the strap exactly where you want it. The front clasp is also adjustable to make more room in the front pocket. A large pocket right behind the front flap is closed using only a stitched in magnet, which makes it perfect for keeping papers or a book for easy access. All interior and exterior lining is padded. Every seam and zipper feels very solid, and after a month or so of daily use, the bag looks and feels exactly as it did the day I bought it. I have flown with the bag too, and I can attest to Ohmetric's claim that it is great for getting through security.

There are only two negatives I've come across so far. The first is that in the main section there is a removable "organizer" with three pockets. The organizer is great, and fits all the computer stuff I need fine, but it faces inword, and so with the pockets full it can be a bit of a hassle sliding books in next to it. In order to fix this, I just put the organizer behind the document pocket instead of on the velcro, and that completely resolved the issue.

The second issue is that the metal clasps tend to squeak a bit when walking with a full bag. Some WD40 quieted things a bit, but not completely. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the bag, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good laptop work bag.
