Great Customer Service! Fun Game!
This company provides amazing customer service! We recently got a Mac and gave our old PC to our kindergartner. We took it off of the internet for security and safety reasons, but this game requires some form of internet access for activation. This game does not work with Mac, so we needed a work around. Late on a Saturday night I called customer service and left a message. I got a call the next day, SUNDAY, from the CEO!!! She was on vacation as well! She helped me solve my problem using a technique already on the company's website.

Once installed, my daughter and I both had a great time drawing and creating. The game helps my kid read the instructions and guides her through the tasks in the game. The best part is that the game increases in difficulty as her skills and confidence increases. She has gotten bored after a few minutes with all of the other games we have tried.

ItzaZoo and ItzaBitza Makes Reading FUN..!!!
I can't say enough good things about ItzaZoo and ItzaBitza..!! Our little girl is very much an interactive type learner. She gets bored very easily if there is not hands-on interaction involved. So needless to say, learning to read was way down on her list of priorities until we discovered ItzaBitza and ItzaZoo. We started her out with ItzaBitza and she loved/learned from it so much, we couldn't wait to get her the ItzaZoo follow on version of the game series. What is very unique about these games is the approach towards reading. Sabi has figured out how to grab the attention of the "adrenaline junkie, hands on learning, only wants to play" child and make learning to read truly fun..!!! [...].

Give them a try, I hope you find the games as much of a valuable learning tool for your child as we did for ours. Not to mention, they are pretty darn fun to play - even for us old folks..!! :-)

Engaging and imaginative
As a computer instructor for pre-K and kindergarten students, this is one innovative product. My students were not only able to easily grasp the concepts and create imanginative pictures, but thoroughly enjoyed seeing the characters they created come alive. Won't work on netbook
I bought this for our kids to play with on their netbook, but this software won't run without the CD, which the netbook does not have. It seems the software industry is still bending over backwards to provide products that are inferior, and in my case useless, to legitimate customers.

great teaching CD
I bought this Cd for my 2 1/2 year old grandson and was pleased to find that he enjoys it and learns from it even at his young age. It stretches his thinking and it's giving him some basic skills he'll be needing - laa the while he's having great fun with it! Great learning tool!

Reader Rabbit Preschool Favorites
My three year old grandson loves this Reader Rabbit CD! The first time he played it he didn't want to stop using it. He had a great time. The characters are delightful, bubby and the games are fun. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Excellent for the kids, not so good for your computer.

As other reviewers have stated, it's an excellent interactive learning experience for your child. I give it 4 or 5 stars on that alone. But I was dismayed to find that the setup process stuck an AOL promotion on my desktop (my other Reader Rabbit programs also did it). And of course, the unwelcome desktop icon was just a shortcut; I had to search in the Programs folder for the AOL executable file in order to delete it. A major annoyance!

This sort of thing is not terribly unusual with free applications that you download from the Internet, but when I pay money for a program, I don't expect it to come with adware junk.

Another problem is that once you've started one of the programs running, there's no way to back out of it or shut it down before it quits. There's no right-click menu with a Cancel button or anything like that. Very inconvenient if you're simply giving a program a quick test. I had to use the Windows CTRL-ALT-DEL trick to shut it down in midstream.

Bottom line: great for the kid, a pain in the behind for dad.

Excellent, kids LOVE it!
Have been very satisfied with all RR products. I keep buying, they keep playing. Excellent way to get boys to focus and learn! Highly recommended, makes a great gift too.

Great learning tool
I love Reader Rabbit's learning tools and my daughter would play with this all day if I allowed her too but because of her age she's only allowed small increments at a time. Great for kids.

Great game for kids with speech problems
My son has a speech proble this game is so great for him. I had to pull him out of school and home school him. This teach's him computer skills and skills that he would get from school. I would tell every ony that I know to buy this for there child.

Reader Rabbit
Cheap and fast delivery. Reader Rabbit is getting cheaper because better programs are coming out. Still worth buying if you are trying to teach you little ones the computer now. Programs can become very addictive and frequent brakes are recommended.

great educational tool
I purchased these programs for my grandchildren to help them with their reading skills and they love to use it and I have seen a marked improvement in their reading abilities. My daughter is a school teacher and recommended the programs.

very educational
Jump start has many great learning game software. I also get my kids reader rabbit games. My kids enjoy both. Jumpstart is challenging and fun. My daughter asks if she can play it and as a parent it is always ok to get educated. I recommend this to parents who have a pc and allow their kids to use it for educational purposes.

We love the Jumpstart Series
We are a homeschooling family. The Jump start series has been wonderful. My three children are all working above grade level and love to learn. I just purchased the Jump start 4th and 5th grade and I am happy to say that finally something is challenging my kids.

Good basic program
My 4 year old daughter loves this program, as well as another title in the series called Shapes. (shapes is better for younger children though). It is fun and easy to use, and is very enjoyable as well. I can't say she is really learning much in the way of new things, but she certainly is having fun, and her brain is engaged at the same time.

The Lego Kindergarten CD for the computer is WONDERFUL!!! My son loves it and it is easy for him to understand. He really enjoys his computer time with this set of games!! If your little one enjoys anything lego I would HIGHLY recommend this!!

Fun for a Lego-loving kid
My son is now into Legos and he loves this game! I read the reviews about this game before buying it, but my son seems to enjoy the game more than I thought he would. I almost bought the Lego Preschool game (based on the good reviews it got), but I was scared it'd be too easy for him.

Doesn't work as advertised
I bought this product for my 4 year old daughter. It looked like a great computer game. Unfortunately, when I loaded it onto my computer, it kept telling me that there was an error and did I want to report it to Microsoft? It is impossible at this point to play most of the games on the CD and she can never get past the first level. This game was not programmed well and would be a waste of your money to purchase.

Lego Kindergarten
This game is not as good as the preschool version, which is great. Even the kids said they did not like it. There wasn't much to it. It was more on the level of beginning computor skills. The company should redo it or rename it to 2-3 year olds.

Lego My Style Kindergarten
Our 4 year old grandson enjoys the challenge of this game. He has conquered the preschool version and takes great pleasure of alternating between success and challenge.

It is a good one for my daughter to leap into kindergarten
With recommendation from my frind who has 7 years old daughter and when he ecplained how it helped his daughter, I didn't have a second thought because he always chooses the best for his daughters learning.

Another Great Reader Rabbit Program
My grandson will be 4 years old next month and he LOVES Kindergarten Reader Rabbit software. I only have to explain him once how some of the games work and he does them now all by himself.

He also has the Preschool and the Dream Tales software of the same series, so he was familiar with the same characters in Reader Rabbit Kindergarten.

I definite recommend this software for pre-schoolers. It helps if an area in the PC is created for the child just for his or her software, so he/she can "play" independently.

Grandma in OH

Reader Rabbit
This product is a bit older than the new learning cd's out there, but an excellent buy. It is is a bit slow here and there when loading the next scene, but my 4 year old loves it. The program will actually adjust to your child's learning ability and become increasingly more difficult as your child masters the skills. My son is beginning to read and understands how each letter sounds. He spends hours at a time on it. This is a game that is better done with parent and child.

Great Kindergarden Learning!
I got this computer program for my 4 year old daughter. She loves it! The characters are fun and entertaining, plus the learning is awesome too. She is not yet in school, but there are many different levels some that she can do (keeping her interested) and some she can't do yet (teaching her new things) I would recommend this product to anyone looking to teach your young one new things to prepare for shcool.

Happy 3-year-old
We ordered this game for our 3-year-old son. He really likes it and is able to do all but one level by himself. I thought the game was too limited, but I guess it is age appropriate for a 3-year-old because he really likes it. There is one main story style game with several different activities that you complete as you progress through the story to "help" the trains. It takes our son a little over an hour to play the whole game. Upon completion he gets to print out a certificate, which is his favorite part. It also comes with what they call a bonus game, but it is really only one simple little activity they can experiment with. A good game for the three to four-year-old die-hard Thomas fans.

My 3 year old loves this. It's a great learning tool (especially bc he LOVES Thomas). I rated (4) star bc it works "ok" with Vista, but I think a lot of things just work "ok" with Vista. For the price, it's worth it!

My kid loves it!
My 2.5 yr old loves everything THOMAS! So naturally we had to get him Thomas and Friends software for his computer. He loves it!

A hit with my four-year-old son
My four-year-old son is a Thomas freak. He also loves the computer--websites, computer games etc--so to think he would enjoy this was a no-brainer.

The video quality is great. It runs well on my Vista computer (without hanging up). He loves the different activities, and watching the story as it goes along through them.

The child can pick their favorite engine to drive the story (Thomas, Percy or James, I think).

Brain-dead-- your child will soon be, too
I wish I could give this zero stars. Aside from containing some errors, it is full of activities that will dull your child's mind. Just a couple of examples:

* The "art" section (sounds cool, eh?) contains pre-drawn pictures that you can scribble on with a pencil, or fill in regions with a paint bucket. Nothing else. This is a waste of money for anyone who already has Microsoft Paint, and does nothing to advance your child's knowledge of or appreciation for art, or ability to draw, or to do anything else except click a mouse. Of course, any software will do the last.

* The "music appreciation" section does not teach any musical skills whatsoever. The child is merely asked to click on several buttons, each of which plays a different tune. Then the "reward" is given-- a carrot. It was at this point that my three-year old turned to me and said, "Daddy, this software is really dumb". I had to agree.

The reading section does not teach reading, etc.-- I could go on, but I won't. I will not try anything else in this series. I wish I could give this negative stars.

jumpstart kindergarten classic
I bought this for my 3 year old grandson. He just loves it and asks to play it every time he comes over. He can run this program all by himself. He is learning so much from this including recoginizing patterns,colors,and story sequencing. I love it because it gives me a brief rest in our busy day together. I strongly recommend all the jump start software.

Not sure if it's just my computer, or what...
...but his game constantly stops in the middle of an application. we have several other computer games that work very well, but this one just chooses to be fussy. there are no scratches, so i don't know what's up. maybe it's just not being supported my my laptop very well? anyway, fast shipping and no scratches ont he cd, so the buyer's not the problem! the game itself, or my computer is to blame.

Wow, what a neat Software
These CD's have been around for years and I never bought them with our first child, but wow what a difference it made for my pre-kindergartner. He is spelling, reading, etc. And he is addicted to the PC (in a good way). Highly recommended.
