2008 Caravan
Works great in my 2008 Caravan, now 4 can watch a movie and all others can listen to the radio

don't work
I bought 2 of these to replace the factory sets that my kids have broken. I bought them for my Honda Odyssey 2004. Everyone else says they just put batteries in and they worked straight out of the box - but all I get is a hissing noise. Would like to rate this item higher if I can get them to work - anyone else had this problem or know why they won't work? They fold flat so can be stored in the seat pockets without being trashed like my other ones, and they seem pretty comfy and fit the kids heads better than the factory models.

How I spent my summer vacation
Works as designed for a very reasonable cost.
A great plus is that because the headphones use the infrared signal from the DVD player, I can listen to the XM radio while the kids watch the DVDs.
If the kids use regular headphones that plug into the jack, then the Tahoe only allows AM/FM/CD play while kids watch DVDs.

Great price and product
I bought 2 of these headphones to replace a pair that we lost for our after-factory dvd player in the truck. 2 of these headphones cost the same as 1 of the headphones I was replacing. They are light-weight and easy for the kids to use. The adjustable head band is good quality and stays to the adjusted the place you set it. I really like how they fold flat to store, too. I highly recommend this product!

Since our Jeep Commander didn't come with a rear entertainment system, I added some Pyle 9.2" headrest monitors. To keep costs down I decided to go with two of these headphones for my 7 and 5 year-old daughters. Yesterday was the first time they were put to use on a trip to NYC and I'm happy to report that they worked very well and are a great value @ $14 each. It took my kids a few seconds to figure out how to use them and the auto shut-off feature is really nice. I was glad to be able to listen to talk radio while the kids watched their movie.

Pyle headrest DVD player
Love these. Can't believe how low the price was. Local shop installed them for $200+. They look perfect in my Audi Q7. Daughter loves it. So much affordable than the Vizualogic versions of the headrest DVDs.

Great value, good system
Got the system installed and so far, so good. You just have to love the $$ value of this system. Hopefully, the reliability is good enough to give me years of use.

Some of the things to love about the system:
-it works either as a single DVD player w/ 2 monitors, or a dual DVDs. That will be nice when the kids are watching separate videos.
-You have several audio options when the video is playing -- headphones, FM transmission to your factory audio, or just using DVD speakers. Either option gives you decent sound quality. Remember audiophiles - this is a car, not a movie theater. The built-in speakers are a real plus, not all systems have it, and my kids are too young to wear the headphones.
-the zipper cover is great too. It does hide the screens which should help keep vandals away and keeps the kids from wanting to watch videos every time we run to the store.

Some thoughts for considering buying this system...
-don't EVER, EVER lose the remotes that come with the system. You can use the DVD buttons for basic playback functions, but most programming is done with remotes, particularly if you want to use the 2nd monitor as a slave. My system came with a busted remote and the seller, PLEXSUPPLY, sent me 2 free new ones right away (Nice!!)
-the gaming on the system looks laughable. '80s vintage games and very clunky, so don't buy for games.
-Some fitment issues in the car. This is a universal fit, so there will be some compromises. Color wasn't a perfect match to my interior but hey, it's a used family hauler, so we manage. Also the headrest posts, even with the supplied sleeves, don't fit my seat well, so there is some slipping of the headrest when raised.
-Install isn't tough for someone with basic knowledge of electronics. Best advice is to take your time and do the job right. I took apart the seatback to facilitate running the cables. Also took seats out of vehicle to hide A/V cables and power wiring under carpets. Adds some time to the installation, but results are well worth. Very clean installation. Final note, I recommend connecting to a switched accessory power supply, not a constant supply. The DVDs players must have a battery source, b/c the units will retain any programming settings you make (e.g., video settings). you can also program it to resume video playback at the same spot if you shut-off the car.

Overall, the quality of the system is decent and it has a lot of features that works for us. If the system components lasts, then this is a real scores for the $$.

A good budget alternative
Vehicle: 2006 Toyota Rav4 Limited (side airbags in front seats)
Installation: Professional (cost, 2.5hrs labor ~$125 total)

Comments from the installer:
1. These posts are the old style. The newer units come with screw in adapters. This type will not allow a tight fit, nor allow the headrest to stay up with notches.
2. These units will vibrate unless you secure them to the seat with some kind of epoxy. But then, you won't be able to raise them (which won't function properly anyway with the sleeve adapters).
3. You paid a great price for these, even given the limitations.

Comments from me:
Everything he said was true. The units work as advertised, and the looseness of the posts is noticed, but not horrible. I hardly notice.

The sound quality of the IR headsets is laughable. I would not waste any time using these. Situated directly in front of the unit, there is clear distortion. Move right or left even a few inches and the sound signal is lost. Clearly, you will be using different wireless IR headsets, wired headsets, the internal speakers or the radio transmitter. The other 3 options seem fine. I can't comment on radio transmitter in urban areas - the signal will probably degrade.

The video quality is OK. Not stellar. Comparing quality to the factory unit in our 2010 Sienna Limited is very noticeable. Expect to get what you pay for here, but that said - the quality is still acceptable for the application (keeping kids quiet!).

All in all, 3 stars is because of the mounting post limitation, wireless headset audio, video quality and installation instructions. You're paying for a 3 star product and you're getting a 3 star product.

Defective
My Tv's only lasted 3 months! Just after the 90 day warranty had expire the two Tv's stop working. Moreover, there is no manufacture warranty since the Tv's are fake. I contacted Sony and they are investigating the issue. Stay away they are fake copies!

beware don't buy from this seller! liars! bad communication and they refused to fix my product so instead they cut the wires and returned it to me and blamed me for cutting wires. they left me with no choice to ever be able to return the item. very mad! i only had it for less then 30 days. stay away!

iPod Car Charger
I bought this to charge my iPod and iPhone and it woks great for the iPod, my iPhone's case is too large and I can't charge it. I wish I had bought a charger/radio player instead but this works very well for charging!

Works great
The one I have works great on my ipod nano, and my friends ipod touch but it does not work with Iphone 3GS (though mine may be an older version I purchased it back in 2008).

Great value!
While certainly not as heavy duty as some of the higher priced options, this car charger does the job and keeps the iphone working on its limited battery life.

Does Exactly what i want
I have a Classic iPod Video and it charges it very swiftly and with out any problem. It is made of cheap plastic but its not meant for mountaineering... its sits in my car and the most action it gets is when i take it out of the cig lighter.

HAHA yeah right!
The only difference between this cable and the iPod cable that comes with them, is that this one is black, and has video cables. It does not work with iPhone 3GS, it doesn't even read the iPhone. Also, I thought, hmmm maybe it will display album art for the iTouch 3G. NOPE! I'm not sure what JVC is doing wrong, but I've loved them ever since I've had my first car. They have gone downhill from there. They need to actually test these cables and make sure they work with the units they say they do. This is bullcrap.

Pretty simple, it does what is suppose to do! Now i'm able to watch my music video's, movies and so on from my ipod through my stereo. Good product!!

JVC KSU30 USB Able works with iPhod Nano and NOT the iPhones
I purchased and received the original JVC KSU30 cable to be used with a JVC KW-NX7000BT. The cable worked excellent with my wife's iPod Nano. However, it did not work at all with our original iPhone or our iPhone 3GS which we purchased the cable to be used for. We were not able to play videos, music, etc. when connecting our iPhones to the JVC KW-NT7000BT stereo using this cable. The only thing it did do is charge our iphones and that's it.

I ended up purchasing the Composite Cable from the Apple Store. It pretty much has the cable plugs as the KSU30 cable and almost everything works. It plays music, video's, charges the iPhone and works with the iPod. The one flaw is that is that the music is being pulled through the A/V connection and not through the USB. So, you can only control your music catalog using your iPhone and not through the stereo. Conversely, you can control the iPod through the stereo and the music catalog is being pulled through the USB connection.

One month and still satisfied
I've only used this product a couple times since owning it but, so far it's done what I bought it for. Sure would be nice if they hired someone that was bilingual to do their installation instructions instead of using a generic word translator program. A little extra content in them would be nice too. On installation, if you don't know what to do with the green wires, they are just antenna wires for the rf modulator. They don't have to be connected inline or wired to the hear unit antenna for them to work. But the wires themselves are about 6' long, and the instructions lead you to believe they should be hard wired to the head unit. But they don't.

All is not included
We recieved our shipment and took everything to Best Buy to get it installed. For the price, you can't beat the whole package. BUT the head phones were not included. Which was a bit frustrating. Amazon offered for us to return the package but we had already paid $150 for installation. They decided to send a replacement set to us. Which is why we are so faithful to Amazon. Easy shopping and dependable. All and all, the kids love it. There are a lot of great features on it. They will play the same video, or play independent of each other. They will resume play when the power gets cut... great buy

Great for the money
I was skeptic buying these as they were pretty cheap for two complete headrest dvd players, but they are actually pretty nice! I like that they have a video in/out that you can connect up to each other to let either dvd system be the master and the other act as the slave. Headphones are nice, maybe a bit flimsy. Game system is pretty poor, as are the controllers but I expected that. The only thing I ran into was the posts do not get close enough toghether to fit our 2002 Odyssey seats so I had to make an adapter system to get them to work. Overall, its going to be a great option for long trips as my kids do not like to always watch the same movie!

Low cost, but low support as well
Bought these same headrest dvd players from the same seller late last year. They look good and came with all the parts and packaging you would expect. Documentation was pretty weak and this is definitely NOT an installation job for an amateur who doesn't normally fool around with his car's wiring. I ended up hiring a 3rd party installer. Worked fine for a few months but then one of the headrests stopped working suddenly. The screen now only displays white snow and the unit does not respond to either the remote or the manual controls. I reached out to the seller for support but got no response, no reply to messages. We still have one working unit which the kids like but I still pretty much regret getting this vs. a more expensive, branded solution from an established merchant like Crutchfield.

Amazing deal!
I also installed these in my Jeep Wrangler (2009 Unlimited) and I'm very happy and impressed. The color is not an exact match but very, very close and hey... can't beat the price. What a deal! I did happen to notice they've even dropped the price an additional $20. No excuse not to get these. As others have indicated the internal mechanism is stamped "Sony" even though everything else seems to indicate a generic product. The instructions are a rough translation from... probably Chinese... but they make enough sense to get the job done, and invoke a few laughs.

The only problem I had was some confusion when powering on. There's a red LED that turns on when they're first hooked up to power and it turns off when you power-up the unit. I kept turning it off (which I thought was on), and waiting for something to happen. I referred back to the instructions... as a last resort and figured out the problem (which was just me).

I also suspect there's possibly two different versions of these because some reviewers indicated the buttons were not marked well & possibly hard to figure out. I also saw some pictures posted which appear to be a slightly different model. The units I received were pretty much what you'd expect as far as buttons with the standard arrows for play, seek & square for "stop" etc. Pretty simple.

Install was surprisingly straight-forward and easy. I managed to get both wired to an accessory power lead (switched on w/ ignition) with no problems.

Wireless headphones & remotes all work great. There's also a game & wireless controller included but haven't had a chance to try 'em yet.

Shipping was also quick at 10 days.

Good quality product!! Will buy again!!
I purchased two of these wireless headsets and they work great! They fit my three year-old twins just fine! They turn them on and off every time they use them as I explained that it was necessary to do this so the batteries would last. It says there is an auto shut-off function, but I wouldn't know about this because since we purchased them, my kids have been really obsessive about turning them on and off, which is good!! Also, they are a little bigger than my Honda headsets, but this makes them a little more durable, too! They do fold flat and they have an adjustable volume. When I first got them, the batteries were already placed in the headsets and they were wrapped in plastic, so make sure you take off the plastic on the batteries before trying the headsets in your car. Also, I leave them in my car during the day, and it gets pretty hot in there, and they seem to be just fine in the car.

These work with my 2006 Honda Odyssey (my kids ruined my Honda Odyssey headphones by pulling out the part that makes the headset adjustable. So now, they only fit on bigger heads!!). I can't believe I even called Honda to ask for a replacement price! It's ridiculous how much they want to charge, almost $100 for one! If I need any more headsets, I will be ordering more of these for sure!!

pretty good for the price
These headphones were to replace the original headsets that came with our suv that were getting a little worn. They look very similar in design and seem to be of decent quality. The kids report that they are comfortable. The only drawbacks so far are that the volume does not go as high as the originals do and there is no auto power-off. As far as the volume goes, I guess on one hand it's good that my kids won't have it too loud but they also ask me to turn the radio down so that they can hear their movie. This kinda defeats the purpose of them having headphones on! All in all a good product for the price.

Definitely worth the price!
I purchased these headphones to use in my mini van. The headphones are a little easier to store because the way the ear parts turn. The dealership wanted to charge over $100 for wireless headphones. That was outrageous. These are more comfortable and work just as good as the ones we got with the van.

Great Replacement Headphones
I just received these headphones to use in my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country which has a factory installed DVD player. They work great with the system. The sound quality is very good (no static at all). I also like the way the headphones fold for easy storage. The kids also say they are very comfortable - better then the ones given when I purchased the vehicle.

Honda Odyssey 2009
The headphones work great in our Odyssey. Add batteries, put in a movie and you are all set. There was nothing we had to do to get these working.
The only thing keeping this product from 5 stars is the audio when the volume is up high. There seems to be a lot of static when the volume is high. this is not a problem most of the time, but when the traffic outside is loud or the kids in the car are loud then the volume must go up. That's when there's a problem and you can't turn the volume up as the static is too annoying.

STOP, DO NOT BUY THIS PLAYER
I purchased this item before we took a ten hour drive so my five year old and my mother would have something to do on the drive. Three days after I installed it the monitor stopped working. We could hear the DVD but the screen was blank. Just so happened it was three days before our vacation.
The people in the service department offered to let me uninstall it and box it back up and mail it back to them and they would send me another one. They were nice but that didn't change my situation.
I didn't want to deal with it happening again so I just ordered another brand, ($400.00) and will likely pile this in the (expensive leason heap).
If it sounds too good to be true, IT IS ! ! ! !

Worst in car DVD Player
The drive died twice within 20 days. Best Buy installation guy told me that this brand is probably one of the worst in the industry. Returned it to Amazon for refund.

Item does not work
Installed the item and the screen lights up, but the dvd player does not work. I spent money to have it put in and put holes in my car and it doesn't work. One is being shipped to replace it, after much debate w/ amazon, so I can keep the old one until the new one comes in 2-4 weeks. I would not recommend purchasing this unit.

Great product
I purchased the product and it was easy to install and looks great. Sound is perfect and my son loves this. Best purchase of the year hope it lasts. It covered a previous spot where another dvd player was, perfect size to cover headliner damage.

Turned out to be a Lemon
I am not sure if it is just the unit I got or what, but I got a lemon. After spending almost as much as the unit itself on installation, it turned out to be a dead dvd player. The first dvd played for a minute, but once I hit next, everything froze up. I tried several dvds (new and old) and none of them played at all. While it played for a minute, it skipped on its own and froze up again.

The picture was pretty good and the sound wasn't bad for built-in speakers, but they are of no use if you cant play a dvd in it.

This one is going back.

Good
This car charger is a nice and small. It has a wonderful on/off switch that glows blue. This charger is useful and doesn't break easily.

not functional
bought it to use it while driving back from a long trip. terribly dissapointed because it did not put out any power to any of the three devices plugged in to it. It appears that the adapter that is plugged into the power plug of the car is not long enough to make any contact. at least that is the case with my 2005 Toyota Prius lighter plug. I'd not buy this again. The compnay did issue a refund.
