Great headset and great customer service.
This is my favorite headset to date. I bought this brand new and it came fast.

Crystal clear sound. Good volume range (can be made quite loud) and very comfortable to wear (with choice of several provided earpieces.) Sometimes switches from bluetooth headset back to phone when answering calls for no apparent reason on LG VX8300.

Plantronics Voyager 510
Just received this from a Amazon supplier. Nothing they did wrong just a not so good product. I charged this unit and paired with my Motorola Droin. Made several calls and every call the other end said the soung was terrible. On my end even with Max volume you could barely here it. Within 1 hour of using it I boxed it up and shipped it back. I also have a inexpensive Motorola H385 which is great compared to this. Would never buy this brand again

Not a fan.
I'd like to point out I've never tried another Bluetooth headset, perhaps all Bluetooth headsets are terrible quality and this is the best on the market. That being said I did not enjoy this headset. There are a lot more "what did you say?" moments on BOTH ends of the phone. I couldn't here her and she couldn't hear me. I was often asked to stop using the headset.
However it did work, if both ends spoke loudly and clearly it worked perfectly, but who wants to be that meticulous while talking on the phone?

Interface with CISCO IP Communicator Software
The Plantronics Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset works well with my cell phone. However when using it with CISCO IP Communicator software running on a PC there was a lot of statics over a phone conversation, even after I made all the adjustments recommended by CISCO.
At one time the problem was attributed to pairing, or the headset. Plantronics was very responsive in replacing suspected parts, but nothing seems to eliminate the static. I am currently using the headset with my cell phone.

Excellent product, would recommend it.
This product is excellent and i would recommend it to anyone. It was very easy to operate with clear instructions. When I have it in my ear I tend to forget it's there till I receive a call. Use you it on both of my cell phones at the same time, it's great.

I really like this
This is a great headset. I have it paired with my Blackberry. It was easy to setup, simple to use, has great call quality for myself and my callers. It is comfortable to wear, and after a while I just forget I have it on, until I get a call.

I like it, but.......
I really like the Plantronics Voyager Pro Bluetooth headset, and was very surprised that within 2 1/2 weeks of minimal use, it failed. I will say that Plantronics customer service was OUTSTANDING. Upon providing them proof of purchase - they sent me a replacement unit and instructions to return the failed unit. My spouse has used this product for well over a year - with no problems - and both of us would definately buy Plantronics products again.

Finally
the thinks actually works like they said it would. I've tried a dozen diferent ones and this is the best of the bunch.

I DID IT!

The AT&T store hates me, but you can benefit from my exhaustive (and expensive) research!

I have an iPhone 4 and I've been looking for a good bluetooth headset. I'm most concerned about sound quality. I want the person on the other phone to have no idea that I'm even using a bluetooth headset. I also want to be able to hear them just as well as I can with my iPhone.

So I went to the AT&T store and asked to demo a few bluetooth headsets to see which one sounded the best. I was rudely told that I couldn't try any of them, but I could buy whatever I liked and there was a 30 day refund policy with no restocking fee.

So I grabbed my credit card and purchased:

Yup, I really did!

Note that I already owned a Motorola H17 and compared that as well.

Then I got together with a friend with another iPhone 4, and we both took turns listening with and talking with each headset while the other person listened and talked with the iPhone (no headset).

We also tried introducing background noise, mostly just a fan and a TV, nothing extreme (like a jet engine or a wind tunnel or anything).

Aren't you just dying to know what I came up with?

When it came to listening quality, or how the headsets sounded when I listened to someone else talking into an iPhone 4 without a headset, the Aliph Jawbone Icon and the Plantronics Voyager Pro definitely tied for first place, leaving everything else seriously in the dust. I make special note of how disgustingly poor the sound from the Sound ID 510 was despite its gimmicky little iPhone app which did allow you to change the sound but in all cases it was various flavors of awful and bad compared to the Icon and the Pro.

But what was even more dramatic was the way the voice quality was transmitted through these headphones (in other words, what I sounded like to the other person when I spoke through them).

THE PLANTRONICS VOYAGER PRO ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED EVERYTHING ELSE, ESPECIALLY THE ALIPH JAWBONE ICON!

Now I'm definitely not a Plantronics fanboy at all, in fact I think the Voyager Pro is funny looking and kind of large and dorky. But when speaking through it, I sound just the same as I do speaking through the iPhone 4 without a bluetooth headset, and it definitely transmits the best audio, really the only one that was comparable in quality to not using a bluetooth headset. And the listening audio quality was similarly just as good as no headset (admittedly listening quality was good on the Aliph Jawbone Icon as well).

Voice transmission quality of the Jabra Stone was really pretty terrible. The BlueAnt was just so-so both talking and listening. Listening quality on the Sound ID was rock bottom.

I thought the Jawbone Icon won points for style, but you know it's not very pocket friendly, and actually when I put it in my pocket those sharp two corners on the front poked the wang out of my thigh over and over; believe it or not the Plantronics Voyager Pro, which looks large and bulky when deployed, folds up very flat that it is much more pocket friendly than the Icon, and equally pocket friendly to everything else on the list.

Also I had to do AN INCREDIBLE AMOUNT OF EAR GEL ADJUSTMENTS to get the Icon to feel like it wasn't about to fall out of my ear, and it was uncomfortable after a while; the Plantronics Voyager Pro felt very stable and painless right out of the box with no adjustments.

I will say that if you wear really large frame glasses the Plantronics Voyager Pro might get in the way of your glasses earpiece (I'm just guessing, although I have worn sunglasses with the Voyager Pro with no problems).

So there you have it, if you primary concern is sound quality (and it should be), both sending and receiving, Plantronics Voyager Pro for the win!!!

....and I had to box up all the other ones and brave the wrath of the AT&T employees when I returned them all!

I hope that others benefit from my crazy experiment!

*** you know, I never did try the Plantronics Discovery 975 and some day I'll have to grab one of those; I didn't buy it because my friend said the the rigid ear plasticky thing was supremely uncomfortable, but I can't attest to that firsthand, nor do I know how it sounds.

Plantronics Discovery 975 Bluetooth Headset
My only complaint with the Plantronics Discovery is that it is tricky to me to turn off and on. You press the face of the headset so my thumb covers the area where a little light comes on (which, btw, is hard to see in bright light), white when turning it on, red when turning it off. You also have to press hard and hold for many seconds. I'm often not sure if it is on or off.

This, however, is my second (lost the first after a couple of years) so I guess this issue has not dissuaded me from purchasing again. I've never had any mechanical problems. Just wish Plantronics would come up with better way to turn it off an on.

Best Bluetooth yet!
After owning a number of Bluetooth headsets I had almost given up finding one that actually works well. The 975 works very well. The sound quality is good both ways. Set-up and discovery with my Palm Pre was easy.
I had a Plantronics 655 which worked Ok except in noisy or windy environments. I also had Jawbone 2 which sounded hollow on my end and did not do well unless the tip is pressed against the jaw to sense jaw vibrations.
I have had the 975 for a while and it is working great. Callers don't know that I'm on my headset any more. It seems to do well when I'm driving and when I'm outdoors. The range is longer than any Bluetooth I have had before.
The only thing I would change is the ear tip options and adding an ear loop stabilizer, even though it doesn't really need it. I prefer the old Jabra type shaped ear tips. That being said this unit is comfortable in my ear unless I wear it for prolonged periods like over two hours. I'm used to using an ear loop and am surprised that the 975 doesn't fall out. I find that I don't have to jam it in my ear, like I thought I would, to keep it stable. Meanwhile I just noticed one of the pictures showing that the ear loop for the 925 fits the 975 perfectly.
MAKE SURE THE BOOM IS POINTED AT YOUR MOUTH!
I have noticed that the microphone boom must be pointed directly towards your mouth for the best sound quality and for outside noise canceling to work properly. This is certainly logical and could be a reason that some users wouldn't get proper operation.
My unit came as OEM packaging and did include all pieces that are listed in the retail package. It had 3 ear tips and the battery charging holder.

Plantronics 975
I used a Plantronics 925 for a couple years and upgraded to the 975. Don't know what I'd do without it. Lightweight, (I sometimes forget it's in my ear) great sound quality and noise cancelling. People I talk to can't even tell I'm on a headset. Convenient charger case. If you get too far from your phone it tells you. Great product.

Plantronics Discovery 975 Bluetooth Headset
As with all the plantronics bluetooth headset that I have purchase (3 in the passsed 6 years) this one is just like the other ones look good, hears good,and still have some part that is cheap won't last etc. This one keeps falling out of your ear. can't talk to anyone for three minutes because it will fall out of your ear. Can't chew gum because it will falll out of you ear. Any movement of your jaw will casue this to fall out of you ear. You spend a lot of time picking this thing off the floor & ground.

Light weight long lasting
The Plantronics Discovery 975 is great for the person on the go. With the long lasting batery life with the help of the convenient carry/charge case.

Fits great on the ear cannal i would reccomend this to everyone.

First BT, but seems great!
I've had my H790 for about 8 months now, and it has worked great. I don't walk around with it in my ear all day (I don't want to be "that guy"), and really only use it when I'm in the car. I don't get cell reception when I'm at work, so I leave it turned off in the car all day. One thing I have noticed is that after a day in the car in midwestern summer heat, sometimes when I turn it on it will report "Low battery". I've found this is due to the whole device getting too hot (I usually store it in my in-roof sunglasses compartment). I then turn it off, hold it in front of the A/C vent for 30 seconds or so gets it nice and chilly, and when powering on again it reports the battery level is high again (or whatever it was previously).

Battery life is good in my limited usage pattern (probably it is on about 1:15 per day at most); I'd say I have to charge it about once every 2 weeks. I have had a little trouble with it staying in my ear, but I honestly haven't tried swapping out the ear pieces with the variety of options which were included.

My only complaints about it are that the pleasant voice that tells you the battery level and prompts you to pair, etc is a little too loud. This again may be because I don't have the right ear fitting for my ear, and resultingly have the volume turned up to maximum. The other small issue I have is that it seems to adjust the volume on my cell phone frequently, which blocks out the screen while it is doing so. This may be more of a problem with my 2+ year old crummy Nokia flip-phone; I haven't tried it with any other cell phones to see if it does it with those too. Overall, I would recommend this BT to anyone (though I did buy mine at the "yellow tag" store since I had a gift card and needed it even quicker than I could receive it via Amazon Prime shipping).

Great Bluetooth, Sad that Amazon didn't ship all the parts!
My wife bought this earpiece to replace an older unit that simply stopped working correctly (intermittent sound loss) and I'm so glad she did - it is wonderful - great fit, outstanding sound, clean & simple = just does what it should.
HOWEVER, Amazon dropped the ball big time with the shipment... supposed to contain the unit, the charger and 5 earpiece 'nibs'.
Received the unit, the charger but NO replacement, interchangeable nibs..... no idea why, no info from Amazon as to why they were not in the sealed box, just the one triangular shaped piece - lucky it sort of fits.
So now what do I do, but a whole new unit just to get the right ear-fittings????
Great item, Good price, Great shipping, Lousy attention to detail and customer service. Buy it - highly recommended, but buy it somewhere other than AMAZON if you want to be sure you get the whole package

very good headset
I've owned this headset for about 2 months now, and so far am very pleased with it. The controls are intuitive, volume is good, and it's very nice to be able to charge via micro-USB cable from my laptop.

The only downside I've found is pretty minor: the plastic loop that fits over the ear is a little uncomfortable if worn for any length of time (30 minutes or more). Since I only use my headset in short bursts, this isn't much of an issue. I've also found that the earpiece stays in place very well without using the plastic loop at all.

Overall, I recommend it.

1 Ear Piece, Bulk Pkg
Order was fulfilled by DBROTH, no where in description did it say Bulk/OEM Package, but that's what was shipped. Description also didn't say retail package, or that it comes with additional ear pieces. Be very careful when ordering. The OEM package can be had for a lot less from other suppliers. This order was basically OEM at retail price.

Bluetooth has improved
As a user of cell phones since the early 1990's (anyone remember the Motorola startac?), I have tried bluetooth headsets ever since they first came out. The first ones had no noise cancelation and very poor battery life. Last night I took this new headset out for a walk (raining with thunderstorms), on a busy street, made a call and never once did I have to repeat my conversation. The built in Droid mic is so bad I have to repeat a lot of the conversation (rest of the phone is perfect btw), the H790 is so light I can wear it for 8 hours at work and never feel it on my ear. I do like how it talks and says the battery is low or a call is comming in. Very well designed and bought it on Amazon for $33, paid for next day shipping, get this; from the second i ordered it, it arrived 21 hours later, simply amazing.

Excellent for the gym, a wireless wonder
I bought this headset for the gym. I got tired of constantly having my arms catch on the wire, and knocking my earphones off (or worse -- knocking my iPhone off).

The battery seems to last for about 3-5 hours of heavy use before it needs to be recharged. It comes with its own power adapter. The end is a mini USB port, meaning that all those USB chargers for cars will also work with it.

The earbuds are covered with a silicone cover, which can be changed out or washed. It's very comfortable to wear, even with glasses on.

Bluetooth compatibility with the iPhone is great -- the only problem is that skip forward, play/pause and skip back don't work.

Garbage- Waste of Money
I always read the amazon reviews prior to making a purchase. I wish I would have have read all the one star reviews. These headphones are junk! If you plan to workout with these plan on them to stop responding once the smallest amount of moisture builds up on your forehead. The controls on the side to control play and pause stopped working after the first time I used them. A couple weeks later the volume stopped working and now they are stuck on the lowest setting. The rubber pieces that connect to the headphone to sit in your ear come out easily and you will lose one eventually and be forced to use one of the other sizes that do not fit in your ears well. DO NOT PURCHASE these headphones, spend a little more money and get a better set.

No repairs available
If your headphones are outside of the one year warranty, and the volume up switch stops working, like mine did, there is no way to have these headphones fixed. I just talked to Motorola and there are no repair facilities available. They will replace the headphones inside the warranty period and that's it. That is something you should strongly consider before you buy the S9-HD headphones.

The only option I have available is to buy another set of headphones.

Could of Done Better
I lost the Bluetooth headset that my son gave me and I tried to duplicate them by purchasing the motorola s9-hd bluetooth - I have already lost one of the ear pieces and when I talk with people they complain that there's an echo and thats annoying - as far as listening to my music, I have no problems. I would not buy these again, I would try to do better next time.

Worth Every Penny
Just got the headphones today, and so far I love them! Buttons seem to be a little cheaply made, but over all sound quality is great! At least for me it is. Made a test phone call, and the sound great as well, I did not have the 'Talking in a tunnel' effect that I normal get with blue tooth. Even though the head set has no mic, my voice sounded perfect on the receiving end. The person talking to me was heard loud and clear on the headphones. I will be using these quite often over the corse of the next few weeks, if I have any further information about these I will try to post here.
As for the range of the headphones, I walked all around my house doing yard work with them on, and the phone was left in the bedroom. We don't have that big of a house, but should be enough distance for what you need.
They also fit very comfortable, and light weight. Again, so far I'm very pleased with these. And if they continue to work well, they are a steel at $35!

blue tooth headphones
i really love everything about this product, especially for the price. I would definitally recommend to a freind. IT's great for running at the gym or walking the dog. the stiff behind the neck design makes it a little akward to use if you're trying to bench press but otherwise it works great with my ipod and mytouh phone.

Don't shoot the messenger.
Like many other people, I bought this to use with my iPod Touch (others iPhone, etc.). This was an incredible disappointment. Tried it with both my iPod Touch 3rd gen and my wife's. Even while holding my iPod, having it in my shirt pocket, or sitting it on the chair next to me, the headphones dropped the signal... or so it seemed. I decided to be practical and used the headphones instead with my computers. They work perfect with them! I don't know what range someone is expecting out of Bluetooth headphones, but for me I can walk usually to the opposite end of the house and still get a clear signal. I use it to stream radio in the morning so I don't wake up the wife. I just think the Bluetooth hardware inside iPods and iPhones is crap. But ironically, on my iMac and MacBook these headphones work great!

Excellent wireless stereo sound
I purchased the Motorola S305 Bluetooth Stereo Headset for my Samsung P3 Palm Theatre Plus 16 GB MP3 Player because I kept snagging the wires for my earbuds when I was exercising. The S305 paired perfectly with my P3. If you have a P3 it is so easy, just turn on your Motorola S305 and then you tap on your P3's Bluetooth icon, then tap on "Stereo Headset" and your P3 will automatically find and pair up with your Motorola S305. There is no need to enter any pairing code. Once you've paired the devices for the first time, your P3 will automatically find and pair up with your S305 each time you turn on the devices and of course they have to be within Bluetooth range. The sound is rich and full in all audio spectrum -- highs and lows. The fullness of sounds are the same quality between P3's wired earbuds and the S305's wireless bluetooth -- I can't tell any difference, and I play the guitar so I am used to parsing out harmonics. I did not purchase the S305 for handsfree cell phone use because I already have another Motorola single earpiece type bluetooth and don't use my cell phone to play music -- so my comments are reserved for this usage. The S305 is constructed very well, there are no loose parts, all of the buttons are firm and do not shake, the design is very comfortable over the ears and the controls are easy to find and use while the device is positioned on your head. If you're looking for an excellent universal bluetooth device for your digital audio music player, I highly recommend this Motorola product. 5/5

Would be great but...
Let me start by saying that I've had this for about a year, and use it everyday. I use it while biking to work and when working out. I used it initially with BB 8330 and now with HTC Incredible. No complaints regarding pairing, incoming and outgoing call quality, controls and ease of use. Work well for music. Please refer to the many reviews with four and five stars for an accurate description of the pros of this device.

I wanted to report a fairly annoying aspect of the device:
It does not work well with water!

That may seem obvious, but this headset is more fragile than expected when confronted with humidity/sweat. The first time I ran with it, it started drizzling, the the headset promptly shut down. I brought it back home slightly wet and quickly put in in my table-top oven. I set the oven at about 100F and left it in there for 5 min. Repeated the treatment a few times before I connected it to power. It fired back up without a glitch. (I've used this technique with accidentally wet BB 8330 and iPod touch as well. Works like a charm. Before you ask why my devices get wet in the first place... please note that I ride to work very frequently, and some days the skies do not agree with my carbon foot print reduction plans!) But, I digress. So, this thing has happened at three other times with exposure to simple sweating while running outside (x2) and a recent exposure to rain.

I don't know if this a problem with just my device. Otherwise the device works great!

Great sound, but large and hard to charge
This device works very well, pairs easily to phone, is reliable, and provides good sound for both listening and speaking. Compared to others, it is a bit large, so that is one drawback. The other drawback, which is more of an issue is with the charging. The earpiece must be clicked into a charger opposed to a plug that goes right into the earpiece. This makes the charging cord larger and not as convenient to carry around. The bigger charger issue, though, is that the earpiece does not click into the charger very securely, so the slightest bump, even sometimes just setting it down, can knock it out. If you don't double check, you may come back in a few hours to find no charging has occurred. If I had it to do over, I would not have chosen this earpiece due to the charging issues.

Very comfortable
I have posessed a lot of headsets and this plantronic set has been the best one yet. It is very comfortable, I do not mind wearing it at all! I don't drive without it.

good product for the price
The Plantronic Voyager works well for the price. Set up was easy. The ear set works well in the car, home and office. Out doors it does pick up even the slightest wind.

Fit is ok. More comfortable than some that I have used in the past. It isn't a perfect fit, stands out a bit from my face but is ok.

I would recommend it as an inexpensive way to go hands free.

It works OK
I got this for my Blackberry 8520. The setup with the phone is a piece of cake, the only problem with it is the reception... If you are in the car, the phone has to be on the same side as the device, otherwise you get static. Outside of the car you practically have to hold the phone next to it to get crystal clear sound.

I have managed to sync it with two phones and it works great. The battery life lasts for a couple of days (of regular use), and it charges back up in just an hour or two.

Great Product and quick delivery

An Update to the H710???
My wife and I both had H710's which we loved. I still have mine, but my wife accidently dropped hers in the parking lot. When she went back for it, it had been smashed! I bought her the H720 because it said it was an update to the H710, and we could no longer find the H710 direct from Amazon. It has been a disappointment for her.

1. Sound clarity at the other end is bad. It seems to pick up every background noise imaginable and amplify it. Isn't that the opposite of what its supposed to do?

2. Shorter battery life.

3. Dropped connections.

4. What's with the teeny tiny indicator light? Give us back the big flashing blue circle from the H710!

5. Looks and feels cheaper than the H710.

Great headset. I have owned other Motorola headsets and the quality remains the same.

good but not as good as the H715
Had the H715 and loved it but unfortunately it died. Purchased the H720 and it's ok but I have almost daily problems getting it to connect. I also do not understand why they replaced the nice big indicator light that the H715 had with the teeny tiny pinhole light on the H720. If you're having any problems and are trying to read the lights while going down the road, you're going to have a wreck because you cannot just glance at it like you could the H715. And if the sun is bright, you can just forget being able to see it at all! Other than that, sound quality is great, comfort is excellent, talk time and standby time are exceptional.

Takes a lickin and keeps on tickin!
My wife drove over her Motorla H715 and it was pretty much toast after that. I like the way the blue tooth turned on by opening the mic boom and wanted a similar set up. I found the H720 and made the plunge. It works great! Easy to turn on and the volume is great.

Fabulous!
I love all of the different chargers and earpieces it comes with. It fits in my ear without the aid of the hook and is so comfortable I forget I have it on. Very clear sound with no feedback and the people I'm calling never have trouble hearing me. I can charge in the pen-shaped, battery-operated charger while I'm out-and-about.

good but not great
the sound quality is good both ways but the only thing that I'm not happy with is that when you put your phone in your pocket, it starts crackling a little bit and sometimes you have to hold your phone close to the unit or place the phone directly in front of you. Reception could be improved but its still a good unit. Good, sturdy design and better than some others. Ear Gel needs to be replaced every few months, I found that the small size fits me well and I don't have small ears. The small size allows me to stick it in my Ear like an in ear earphone. It picks up slight wind noise and the noise canceling is really not that great. Sounds good in the car as long as you have your windows rolled up. overall not bad and I use it everyday. it does the job and people don't even know I have it on.

Great start, quick ending & very poor product customer service
When the product arrived, it paired up with my Droid very quickly and sounded great. The features worked well for two weeks. The seller had a great price and delivered ahead of schedule.

The manual is inaccurate. Per the manual, the time to turn on the unit is exactly the same amount of time to put it into pairing mode. It only takes ~2 seconds to turn the unit on.

The unit currently is locked up and will only flash a blue light every 6 seconds. Holding the call button for any length of time will do nothing except make a tone when the button is first pressed.

Plantronics tech support is completely clueless. Their response to this complaint was to tell me to charge the unit and then pair it with the phone by holding the call button for 6 seconds. Clearly this isn't going to work when pressing the call button doesn't do anything.

This product is worthless junk. Look else where.

Undecided about this unit..
I looked at quite a few different bluetooth headsets, could not make out the difference between the cheap and the expensive. So, I picked one in the middle. I have had it for about a month. I am undecided about it. Sound quality is ok, people I talk to can usually understand me. My last headset (which I lost) was the same company but an older model. I liked that one a lot. One odd thing is that the plug in unit is not made for American electric plugs. The poles are both round and spaced wrong for my house. The usb charger is fine. The battery backup charge is fine as well. Buy it again, no. What would I buy, don't really know. So I will struggle with this for now. Shipping and sales were great.

The operation of the bluetooth is fine. However, the earpiece is so stiff and hurts so much I'll have to get a different bluetooth. I changed to the other earpiece that came with it but that one hurts as much as the first one. Too bad because I really like the other features.

Works but not what I wanted
Yes, it works as a bluetooth headset but it does not have support for music playback. Also, the volume on it is low, even when turned all the way up.

I bought this because the price was great so why not try it. I also have a samsung phone but I don't know if that makes a difference. My conversations are clear and it fits in my ear fine and the battery seems to hold out a long time. Thank you other reviewers who let me know they liked it, too.

Slick little bluetooth
For the money this bluetooth works as well as any I've tried. Most, including this one and a Plantronics won't let you stray very far from your phone. You would think with today's technology that it wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately, that's not the case. But, the Samsung WEP460 is as good as any I've tried so it's a best buy in my book. I do a lot of cabinet building and trim work and it does not fall off. The plastic ear hook makes my ear sore after awhile but I think I can remedy the problem by softening the plastic and bending it to fit better. I gave it only 4 stars because I think more thought should have gone into the ear hook.
