Custom Fit!
I purchased this pet-stairs for two Maltese dogs, and they love their new sofa steps. This products seems to be custom fit for their "doggiesofa" which someone had made for my dogs, using my design. In their youth, they used to jump up onto this "doggiesofa" with ease, but they are now older and less sprightly, so this seemed the ideal solution. My youngest Maltese had some trusting issue at first for the first couple of days, but after watching the eldest Maltese and a four month old Yorkiepoo use this once it was put together upon its arrival, the female Maltese decided to join the pack several days later and now climbs with ease. I have a sense of satisfaction watching them go up the "doggiesofa". This is a good investment for your mature dogs esp those who struggle climbing the stairs.

Perfect for my dachshund!
My dachshund hurt her back and had to be lifted many times a day off and on my couch. Dachshunds have lots of back problems. I read all the reviews for all the stairs and decided to buy these stairs based on the positive reviews. When they arrived, I put them together. Then I showed her how to walk up them to the couch. Later that day, she walked down them all by herself and learned very quickly to go up and down. She totally loves them! They are the best thing I have ever bought for her!

Does the job, but way smaller than what I expecte
The picture of the Pet Gear 2-Step made me think it would be much bigger than what it really turned out to be; however, it does the job and pretty much all of our cats have used it some time or another. Light enough to move around easily, and durable enough so far - our heaviest cat is around 15 lbs and it does fine. Will update if any changes occur.

Great option for older pets

The two dogs we have now don't mind using them. The older one hasn't gotten to the point where she uses it on her own. But I've been training them both to use them & when they are told to "use the stairs", the will do that. ;-)

It did not work for my boxer/australian sheperd mix.
The product was easy to install, however one of my dogs (boxer mix) decided it wasn't enough of a barrier and jumped over it. It did prevent the basset hound from jumping over it. I ended up purchasing car harnesses for both dogs which allowed us to make our seven hour move to Fl without incidents.

Excellent product at great value!
Installs in moments, works as it should--I had a pup who wiggles out of every seat-belt harness I put her in, and would always try to stand between the seats with her front paws on the center console. It was a constant battle trying to keep her in the back so she would not go thru the windshield if we had an accident, this worked out perfectly!

Didn't work for me !

Think it might work in a SUV but my golden jumped and cleared right over unto the front seat. Ending up using it as a cover for the arm rest she insists on standing on. I have a ES Lexus.

not for my dog
This product is not doing any good for my car. I'm afraid my dog has been riding too long with her paws on the console and because I didn't have anywhere to tie it down at the bottom, it's not working. However I am using it to cover the console to keep it somewhat protected.

Know How to Use It--Which Means Dont Read The Instructions!!!
I couldn't believe it when I read in the PediPaws instructions; "Hold your dog down to the floor--do NOT let him get away! If he "wins", you will lose! Be in charge!" Okay, so maybe that's not 100% accurate, but that's pretty much what they are saying. No wonder people are struggling with this product. Forcing your dog to be tortured by something he is terrified of is NOT going to allow you to properly trim his nails any time soon. Apparently PediPaws didnt consult any actual animal behaviorists when writing their manual.

We have two 15 lb dogs. The first time I turned it on, they both bolted. The second time I turned it on and tried to hold them and Pedi by myself, disaster. Third time we decided to tag team. I was the holder and treat giver, my boyfriend did the filing. Once the dogs realized all they had to do was sit there and get their faces stuffed with treats, it turned around quickly. By the end of working on their front paws for 5 minutes, they were both perfectly fine with it.

Some advice for people who are struggling; dont rush, it will take at least a few times to get used to it. Have TONS of treats on hand, preferably your dog's most favorite. And use a helper. Unless your dog is comatose and/or completely acclimated to the product, I dont know how a single person could do this by themselves.

Also, the product is badly designed in how the label is situated on the product. You actually hold it with the label upside down, and the tear drop shape facing small side up. That is counter-intuitive to how it looks.

Be patient, use lots of cookies and you should be able to figure it out.

Not powerful enough.
I bought this to use on my 4 month old Jack Russell. To begin with, this absolutely terrified my dog. When I actually got her calmed down and started using it, it kept stuttering and bogging down as soon as I touched her nails (Seemed like the stutterring was painful to her). I finally gave up on this and just went out and bought a Dremel and it works like a dream.

Works great for my big Rottie
I am very pleased with this product! My vet always comments on how nice and short my giant Rottwielers claws are. He even rolls on his back to let me PediPaw each claw! I like that the tool doesnt go full blast in power as it would grind down too the quick too soon. I recommend clipping the claws the first time and then PetiPaw them further. In the future all you would need to do is a quick PetiPaw touchup every other week. I do remove the safety cap so I can see better.

Best way to shorten cat's nails but:
My cat got an infection after having his claws cut by the vet. I guess they don't sterilize the tools. Pedi paws takes some patience but is safe. It is faster if you remove the plastic safety shield.
I read the instructions and slowly got the cat used to the noise and vibrations, but the animal doesn't like to be confined for a long period of time -20 seconds!! So, you need a second person to hold the cat in a towel --even then you can file about 4 nails until the cat fights to get loose. So I do it a few times in the evening and get all the paw nails trimmed.

bought a pedipaw and recieved it bought new batteries and does not work. very upset. will not order from here again. might as well keep it than pay postage to send it back.

LOVE THE SQUIRRELS!!
My dog has always loved getting things out of plastic bags. If I leave a plastic grocery bag out, he'll bring that to me with a toy--for me to tie his toy up in the bag for him. He will play with this until he gets the toy out, and then he'll bring me the bag and toy to AGAIN put in the bag for him.

Needless to say, my dog took to this toy naturally and he LOVES it! I've also hidden a treat in the bottom of the "trunk" for him to retrieve as a reward. This toy has given me time to do my hair in the morning (usually I get TONS of interruptions to play), and it's right up my dog's alley.

The trunk and the squirrels are well built. I ordered the small (my dog's 12 lbs) and it suits my dog fine. I would highly recommend this, and I will probably buy another kyjen toy that is similar to this (beehive, birdhouse, etc.) because my dog has enjoyed this so much.

Great, durable toy
I got this toy for our almost-2 year old pit bull who is a voracious chewer. No toys made of material have ever lasted more than a few days with him. He LOVES pulling the squirrels out of their tree and making them squeak (two of the 3 squeakers still work, amazingly) and the toy is still in one piece (even more amazingly). We have to keep stuffing the squirrels back in the tree or he loses interest quickly. He figured out how to get them out in a split second or two. I got it to keep him occupied while the rest of the house is still asleep...it has done that, but as he gets more accustomed to the toy, he's seeming to lose interest in it more quickly. Guess it's time for a new toy!

Great Toy
Our 50 pound German Shepherd mix loves toys where you can pull stuff out from within the toy, so this toy is exactly the toy for her. I initially ordered 2 of these, and have bought 1 more just to have as a back-up. Excellent price here on Amazon too. Buy a few of these, your dog will love it.

A little bit small
The product was a bit small for my cat. The cat they use in the picture must be 5 or 6 lbs at most. I have a 16 lb cat who is taller and longer than my dogs and he cannot even curl up on this mat. It also makes a very annoying 'scrunch' sound as though it were filled with beads. I gave it to a friend a couple of days after I bought it. Smaller cats would love it because it definitely would help them with self-heating, but if you have a larger-than-normal cat, forgo this entirely and seek out a thermal dog pad instead.

Agree with others about sound
I agree with others that it may be the crinkly sound this item makes when my kittie walked on it that made her not like it. It now just sits there...

cat's don't like it
This is a nice, well-made mat, but for some reason my cats don't like it. I've tried it in several places where they lay, but they stay off it. I think maybe it's the crinkle. They just like cheap fleece blankets better than anything!

Thermal helpful
Charlie, who has arthritis, appreciates his thermal mat on cool/cold days & nights. It seems to make a difference for him. Best of all, it's self-heating--no cords to worry about.

Soft and warm
My older pussycat really loves this mat. I find her on it more often than on her other kitty circle. She seems to enjoy the heat curled up into a ball. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a older kitty.

HAPPY KITTY
Duke my precious Persian has always loved drinking from a running faucet. He gives me that "I am dying of thirst" look; whenever I am near a sink.

He is 14 and like many senior cats has the early stages of kidney problems. Drinking lots of water is recommended, for him, by my vet.

The Drinkwell, is shared, with him, by my Yorkie, who drinks from the bowl.

The unit is easy to clean and the slight tinkling of the running water is pleasant to the ears.

Health Saving Choice!
This fountain is a blessing! My rescue cat was not drinking water and developed a urinary infection. After trying other fluid introduction to no avail, the future looked grim. I noticed his underbite. Although slight, it interfered with his ability to comfortably drink from his bowl. Running water in the tub allowed him to drink, but the waste of water was crazy. AMAZON TO THE RESCUE - AGAIN! The fountain was delivered quickly. It was very easy to set up. I placed it on a plastic placemat, but the splashing is minimal and due only to my cat. It makes no more noise than a decorative fountain you'd see in homes. It did not scare the animal & his water intake is 100% improved. Having purchased the cleaning brushes enabled me to clean the unit expediently & with no difficulty. Our local water department increased chlorine levels & the filtration system eliminates the slight odor. This is one item any pet owner would be smart to purchase. It is well worth the price!

Drinkwell Platinum Pet Fountain
Our three cats love this fountain and started using it immediately. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to give their cat(s) a treat while encouraging them to drink more H2O. Our very intelligent Snow Shoe Siamese immediately looked around behind the fountain to see where the water was coming from!

Works great!
after a few mnths the water ran all over the floor. i was discouraged and just left it sitting in a corner, and today i scrubbed it down with a brush and it works great again. Guess it just got clogged up or something. very nice looking and very quiet.

The Drinkwell Does it's Job
After reading all of the reviews about the Drinkwell fountain, I was hesitant to buy it merely because it seemed to focus on cats. However, I knew my dog loved running water as he always runs outside to drink from our fountain so I decided to give it a try. He loves it! And he's getting more water which he needs since he has hypothyroidism. I would recommend this product to anyone. Wonderful tools!
These brushes fit every nook and cranny on the fountain. I didn't realize how insufficiently I was cleaning the fountain until I got these brushes. Definitely worth the money!

Does not work with the Petmate Freshflow!
Although this is designed to clean the Drinkwell Pet Fountain, this kit was "suggested" to go with the Petmate Freshflow Fountain. The Freshflow fountain has one hole that the long skinny bush can be used for but it still isn't necessary. And the large brush is exactly the same as used for cleaning baby bottles, just more expensive. This may very well be a great add-on to the Drinkwell Pet Fountain, But if you're buying the Freshflow... You don't need this!

Good fountain cleaning
It does what it's supposed to do, and it does make the job of cleaning the fountain a little easier. I have no complaints.

Necessary Tool --- Good Buy
Fresh water does not count, if the bowl is slimy. Not only are the tools top quality, but the instructions on the back of the package are much better than those that came with the pet fountain.

nice affordable bed pad
Nice size for large crate. We are using it as a bed until our puppy moves into the large crate. Good value

Dog loves it!
My 60# black dog loves this bed, so much that I have to put it in the back of my car whenever she travels with me. She uses the bolster as a pillow or a draft bock. I love it because the grey color doesn't show dirt and it seems to collect the hair she sheds. I shake it out and put it back in the car. When it needs cleaning, I wash it and air dry or put it in a dryer on air only or gentle heat and it still looks brand new. One of the reviewers thought it was thin; my dog doesn't seem to mind. Everywhere I looked for these they only had the light colored one that looks like sheepskin. Not the best choice with a black dog. Amazon has the best price on these; I have seen it in local shops for more than double the price.

this thing doesnt stay together..
I just recieved this yesterday and first off, the packaging of the product was very poorly done. Once i got it open and put it down for my dog, the fleece fuzz was just falling off it with every thouch. I actually had to take it away from my dog because he liked to lick it and chew it a little and the fuzz was just getting everywhere and i was afraid of him ingesting some and causing problems. I didnt expect this product to be this poor of a product but i am very dissapointed. Hopefully when he grows out of his chewing stage i can try this again..

Excellent product and my dogs love it!
Midwest products are excellent, all of my dog crates are by them and these Quiet Time pet beds are very soft and comfortable for my 2 schnauzers. I would recommend this product to anyone!

Rat used it first.
I read all the reviews and decided this sounded right for the new puppy I was bringing home. It was delivered fairly quickly but the box was not in great shape. I ordered two and when we opened the box one was dirty with rat droppings all over it. The plastic had chew holes in different places. MIDWEST said the order came direct from Amazon and Kind Regards. Guess they don't care much for their reputation or customer service as long as they didn't ship it. Amazon gave me a refund but no response as to how this happened to get out of their warehouse in this condition. I buy some stuff from Amazon but now I'm afraid to open the boxes. YUK. And the worst part was I had to go buy one at a pet store and paid twice as much.

They are okay, but could be designed better
I bought these steps for my elderly cats, so the steps can easily accommodate their weight without a problem (they weight between 10-14 lbs). I do like that these steps are taller, so my cats can easily get up onto my taller bed. The problem with these particular steps is that they are angled downward, so when they crawl up and down the stairs, it throws off their balance. Try to imagine climbing up and down stairs yourself with the steps on an angle. Not exactly very safe. The steps should have been designed flat and on a right angle. I'm not sure what the purpose is for this design, but it doesn't seem to serve any purpose but to create problems for them. If I had to purchase steps again, I would not pick these. It's not worth my pets risking a potential fall and injury.

Great!
These steps are lightweight but sturdy and easy to put together. I also bought the 3 step version so that my dog could get into my bed at night. My mini schnauzer had a mild problem with his back so I got these to help him recover and they worked just great! It was very easy to train him to use them. Well worth the price.

Just what I needed.
My bed is really high up. About 30". I needed some steps so that my puppy could get up and off my bed as he wanted instead of him constantly jumping on the side of the bed and whining at all hours of the night. This did the trick. These steps were very easy to put together. Getting these was also a good training exercise for him because he did not know how to go up and down steps before now. It learned how to do it fast! Now he goes up and down on his own without the incentive of a treat! These steps don't budge either, then again my puppy is only 10lbs right now.

My only disappointment is that I thought the color would be darker like in the customer photo (I ordered it in cocoa), but it's not. It's lighter.

Best Sturdy Useful Pet Steps
I got these steps for my small dog who just couldn't get onto my very high adjustable bed without help. They came promptly and were insanely easy to set up which was wonderful & right away as I was putting them together I could tell they were going to be more solid & sturdy than all the ones I'd seen at the pet type stores or checked out online. They were very well made, solid & sturdy, they had a nice look and were nicely carpeted as well...no cheap look to them. They also were wider than most, yay, and each step slanted VERY slightly up to be of better use when the pet runs up them. They were the perfect height too, just a great height so that no matter what level my bed was positioned in they still provided enough height for my pet to get on the bed...which is saying A LOT because my bed is very high to begin with and only gets higher with the changes as you adjust it. My dog wasn't afraid, he just sprang running right up and down them, even my cat loved to perch on them and use them himself too sometimes even though he doesn't need them. Excellent product, these are the pet steps to buy!!!!

Very Good Product
These steps are just the right height for our new bed. We have a older dog and when the bed was set up she could not get on the bed without help. These steps work very well. With just a few days of coaxing her with a treat she is now able to go up or down without any help or coaxing. I would recommend this product.

Works well except for the Noise
We had this same model previously and got rid of it only because of the built up hard water deposits. We purposefully searched for the same model online since we couldn't find it in our local stores. The replacement unit is great EXCEPT for the NOISE it makes. Periodically, it makes a grinding noise we never experienced with the first unit. The noise continues until you hit it (we tried taking it apart and reassembling it, adding more water, etc. - nothing worked so this was our last resort). The problem is, you have to hit it 2-3 times a day. Too bad, since otherwise our pets like it and the first unit we got never had this issue.

New Pump too powerful for product
We bought this new Petmate Fresh Flow to replace an existing unit that had served us well for several years but which was becoming difficult to clean. Unfortunately the pump on the new product for some reason no longer has adjustable flow although the flow control lever is still there but intentionally frozen in the maximum position. This results in a very noisy product with water overflowing the internal filter reservoir continually. We installed the pump for our old unit and all is well but this new product appears to have a significant flaw.

Cats love it!
After trying two other fountains that both leaked like crazy, I was very skeptical to try another. This product did not disappoint. I have a Bengal cat that will only drink moving water and I was tired of her drinking out of the faucet. She loves this fountain and drinks so much more water now. Best money spent for quite sometime. Highly recommend the Petmate Fresh Flow.

Life Saver
I would just like to say that i have a 20 year old siamese cat and he was bleeding alot from his UTI. I was getting worried because of his age and did not want ot put him through any surgery. I saw this in the pet store and they wanted 52.00 for this and that was a little too much. I did purchase it on Amazon and i not only purchased one but all my friends wanted one too.
