Flameless looks great without triggering allergies
My spouse gets stuffed-up whenever we burn real candles. These flameless candles help set a romantic mood, without the allergic reation. The batteries last a long time, too. We are very happy with them.

nice glow
The candles provide a nice glow. There are 3 candles in the set, all a different height. The material feels similar to wax. The bulb flicker to simulate a candle flame. They won't light up the room, but will add ambiance.

Mood lighting, not a true candle replacement
I purchased about 3 different versions of these candles to test which ones my wife liked best. Every so often, "Romantic Night" or "bubble bath" is a request I receive. So like most dutiful husbands, I find the candles and lighter. After the soot build up on the walls near the bath, and the sleeping with lit candles incident, I wanted to get a safer and more forgiving option.

Pro's: Turn it on, and get the look without the potential dangers of an open flame. Relatively similar looking to real candles. Just enough light to set the mood with 2 or 3 sets. You can fall asleep and not be concerned that you will cause a fire or damage the nearby objects. For example, these can be place on top of bare wood, electronics, and other places you would never put a real candle.

Con's. Light output/lumens is terrible. If you like the way a real flame can illuminate a nearby wall or plant, this barely casts local light. The flame flicker is just not there. A nightlight with a plastic/wax case. Short battery (which may be our fault) but if this was truly efficient using an LED, you could do this for a year or more. Perhaps this would double the cost, but if it doubled or tripled the light out put and made it last really long, I would pay it.

Get enough of them, and make a display. This makes the wife feel all the key words. "Romantic" "Cozy" "Relaxed" etc.

One Candle Defective - no way to resolve problem
One of the candles is defective and is missing a battery. I spent two hours trying to find a way to contact Amazon about it. The only thing they seem to say is contact the manufacturer, but I am not even sure about that. I found the company on the web and wrote them, but there is no answer yet. I agree with an earlier reviewer that these are smaller than I expected. The size is right, but the image looks like a larger style of candle than it is.

work well for places you can't have real candles
I work as a massage therapist and have clients that are often sensitive to scented candles. The look of candles is very relaxing to them though. These are the perfect solution for a situation like this since you get the look without the scent or soot. If you're in need of something that looks like a candle but are concerned about the safety of having an open flame around, these are also a good solution.

Still prefer a real candle and use those in my home, but for my work situation, these are a great replacement.

Really like Feng Shui Candles
I have several Feng Shi set and really like all of them. This one did not disapoint me. I just would like to be able to purchase separate elements. Not all the elements work for us and it would be a good idea if someone would allow us to buy the elements we want separately.

Great Scents
I received these candles in a boxed set two years ago and I am finally close to burning out my last candle. The candles are a wonderful mix of earth and wood scents.

I see complaints here about how quickly the wax melts, which can be true in open air, but the scent was so strong and lasting that I would not burn them continuously for an extended period of time.

I also found that by placing one candle in a tall, close-fitting, glass holder this allowed the wax to melt down around the base of the candle. Once the wick burned below the top of the glass holder the wax melted slowly and completely, extending the full life of the candle.

Candle Gift Set
Relax with these candles, alone or otherwise. These are the candles you want as a centerpiece of a small table. When lit, the hues are like any other candle. When lit, the room brightens exquisitely. When lit, what needs dimming is dimmed, but what needs lighting is alit. The scent will enrapture your senses while calming the air. Mostly, this candle set is not for lighting. You will not depend on this when a storm has extinguished your lamps. These are decorative, and through the long burning life, they will also be beautiful unlit.

Namaste
I bought the set as a gift for a friend who is into yoga and meditation. It was a big hit. It is a well thought out set. You are given everything you need including a Feng Shui explanation of each candles "purpose". Water,Fire, Wood, etc.. I was told the candles smell terrific too! You can't go wrong with this one.

Smells great - for a few hours
Bought these as a gift, so complaints were left to a minimum, but the wax is so soft they burn down EXTREMELY FAST. She's gotten a couple of good uses out of them, and the taller candles may get a fourth burn, but the short candles are "bye-bye" after the third lighting.
Smells good, though.

Worth the price
I burn unscented tea-light candles all the time. the quality in the local store where i purchase them from has been going down hill for years.. This is why i decided to try purchasing them from amazon.

pro:

1: great buy for the amount you get.
2: burns more consistently in time from candle to candle.
3: packaged nicely.

cons:

1: none

Over all i would sure would purchase these again. even with the shipping cost they are still cheaper than the local stores around my place and i like the way these burn. As for the lenght in burn time. there could be a slight longer time frame but then again it could just be my imagination. Worth the price.

Work well
I have had others that don't work as well. These (I don't bother to trim the wick) burn through.

tea candles
advertised as 4 hour burn time. I was sceptical about that, but they actually burn about 4.5 hours. good quality, no soot, even burn. Good stuff.

Are you kidding me?!?!
When ordering these three candles, I was fooled by the size shown in the picture. For $19.95 plus S&H, you would expect these to be of greater quality. I will never order candles from Amazon again. I am very disappointed in my purchase.

I love to lite these when i am having a stressful day, they smell simply amazing and they are soy, so you can use the melted wax on your hands, which works great if you have really dry hands. would buy again!

Good candles, a little expensive for burn time
These candles smell nice and make the whole room scented. However, I don't think the burn time is as long as advertised.

The lavender one has the best scent, in my opinion. The other ones are very citrus-y though, and make your house smell clean. They burn clean as well.

Good product but a tad overpriced.

If you are interested in wasting money - this is the product. Tiny candles that give off about 2 hours burn time.

Leaves something to be desired
I am a big homedics fan and am not accustomed to not being disappointed. I can't say that this happened with the purchase of this aroma therapeutic "faux" candle. I would not recommend that you purchase this if you are accustomed to a pungent smell or like your aromas to have a kick. I thought that it might be the sample oils that came with it. After using the candle a few times; I just stopped. I did receive a few compliments from friends and co-workers about it -they thought it was a nice "Curio"

Big Hit as a Gift
I bought this as a gift and accidently ordered 4? Don't ask, this is a me thing. I kept them all, and one for myself. I diffuse organic oil from my health food store or Whole Foods, etc. and I LOVE it. I love the flameless feature as I just have a thing about fire. It could be a 200 year old wood house. The key is to not use too much oil. It's easier to add a little than to overpower yourself. As gifts, all of my recipients were thrilled!

Nice but needs to be more robust
This is a very nice product but the heat from the bulbs melted the plastic holder after a few hours of use, fusing it to the metal stand. It's not a problem for the time being because I still have oil in the holder but I shudder to think what will happen when I have to add more oil.

This was a hard to find candle in local stores because of its size. It was for my friends wedding and worked out perfect!

Quality and Price
What can I say, it's an unscented candle. Quality was good and price was good.

Not really 3x9 pillar candles.
I ordered the 3"x9" pillar candles as we needed them for a wedding. However they are actually 2.8 inches and although that sounds like a small amount it makes a difference and they do not fit in the candles holders that we are suppose to use them in!! I have a message into candlemart and hope they will be responsive in a prompt manner.

No mention of the cloying fake vanilla scent
If it weren't for the stench of fake vanilla, I would have loved these candles. There was no mention in the description or packaging that they are scented.

Feels like real candle but orange lights create fake look
These do feel, look and smell(!) like real candles however once you switch on the flickering light it's obvious it's a battery candle. The flickering is nice but the orange industrial light color is really annoying and completely spoils the entire look - they look like joke candles when they are on. They don't provide any real light in the dark either. Don't know if there is a better alternative out there to no-flame candles. We bought these because we have a toddler that is in to everything, so open flame is a real no-no. Just wish the light wasn't so orange.

extremely realistic and long lasting!
I bought a huge amount of these candles for a Candle-light Advent program back in December. Unlike the cheap tea-light candles, these beauties really look real and when grouped together the flicker effect is mesmerizing and extremely life-like. The audience couldn't even tell the difference between the 3 dozen Gerson candles and 3 or 4 real candles I used.
Hint for grouping more than one set.... group like sizes together so the uniformity doesn't give it away.

Good Candle I guess for the price.
My mother was convincing me to buy flameless candles because she loves hers. She bought her set on QVC. I was on their web sight to buy them and found that they were almost $40.00 for a set of 3 (they had timers though) so I searched Amazon and found these. I thought to save money I can do without the timers. When I got them they worked fine and I was happy with them until I saw my mothers. They are bigger and even feel better quality wise. They look more realistic and are amazing. I am in the process of ordering those now. Overall, they are what they advertise, but I have seen better if you are willing to pay a little more for them.

Glow well...but kinda dainty
My first reaction out of the box was how small they were. If you're going to buy these, I think you need to get out a measuring tape and do a reality check on how big these things actually are. I anticipated something bigger. That was not these. I've never seen a real life candle in this size. They look like a childs version of the real thing.

Votive colors not the same as shown in picture.
Not happy with purchase because the votive cups that are shown as purple in picture, are actually red. Looks like a Christmas decoration. Wanted the purple to match my room decor. Quality good, but disappointed in color.

Sarah Peyton Candle Set as seen in Twilight
I purchased this from Amazon.com It arrived today in tact. This is the Sarah Peyton Home Jewel Tone Candle Set. It is made in China. This product comes exactly as described. The glass and product is as pictured. It's very beautiful and looks great once you set it up in your home. The frame is wood with pre-pressed spaces to hold each votive. The rocks are simple river rocks that you could go to your local craft store to purchase more to over fill the tray if you'd like a more full display. Rocks come sealed in a plastic bag. Styrofoam protects the 5 glass votive's in the box. The 5 votive's are a frosty type of glass in the colors shown of a violet/purple, a green tone and a gold tone. Each frosty votive is med weight, not heavy but solid almost like a shot glass or small drinking glass. The tea light candles are the regular white small tea lights you can buy in any craft store, local Target or Walmart to replace. I have chosen to use battery operated tea lights instead which you can find at local stores or Amazon too. Over all this is a simple 5 glass votive set. If you're a Twilight fan it is exactly like the one in Bella Swan's bedroom on Twilight. This set will go great with any decor Twilight fan or not.

I just bought two sets of these for 1/3 of the price that is advertized here at Steinmart. I am going to use them on my dining room table with a bright pink tablecloth and Hawaiin dishes.

Disappointing
These candles are very small & don't put out much light. The concept is very good since there is no smoke or fire that your pets or children can get burned on. They would be great if they put out more light.

Excellent product and value
We've used these candles in our wedding centerpieces. They make for a worry-free reception, not having to worry about flame. Also, one does not have to clean the wax out of the votives. And when the dance is over, you can take them home and use them throughout the house and even in your tent when camping.
They are an excellent value.

Not Quite Bright White & All But One Worked
We bought these to use at our wedding and they worked great. They were off whte colored but the flames looked more realistic. All but one of them worked out of the box, though the one that didn't work may have had a faulty battery. They looked great and we had no other issues with them.

Good for what they are
These are inexpensive, and there are lots of ways of using them, sticking them in between plants and leaves on the table to inside candles that no longer work but are still decorative to get the illusion of a flame.

Battery Powered candles
We have switched most of the time from real candles to battery powered. Our lake home has a lot of wind outside and we are tired of cleaning up wax drippings. These do the job and inside a little holder no one is the wiser. It is exactly what we ordered at a very good price.
