almost perfect
I'd hoped to have a shower head that matched the bathroom, allowed me a hand-held shower (a necessity in this household) and looked decent. This shower satisfies all of those needs. Only issue is that given our admittedly lower than optimum water pressure, the throughput of the shower leaves a bit to be desired. It's unclear how much of this is the shower head's water conserving design vs our local water pressure. I think that the shower head is well designed for both form and function (love the shutoff valves at different points) and it's a really nice addition to the bathroom, but I still miss the sharp needle sprays that come with other showers I've had in the past.

Very nice unit. New details on water pressure 6/30/10
The main shower head itself and its removable hand unit are plastic. The main unit has very precise settings in that as you change the setting you can hear it click into place. The hand unit's adjustment is silent.

I found the pressure from the heads satisfactory, kind of visualize a garden hose adjusted for distance with the valve turned half way on. Or in other words, our shower is 46" (almost 4 feet)from wall to wall if you take the hand unit and place it flat on one wall by the time the water reaches the other wall it is approx hitting the wall 7" lower than where it started on the opposite wall. It starts to arch down about half way across. When set for both the hand unit and the main unit to produce water, it is very comfortable. We do live in a newer home (2 years old) with good water pressure, but even with that, don't expect anything like a sharp needle-like spray.

I mostly just have it set so the hand unit is producing water, so I have more control.
Removing the hand unit and putting it back is easy.

The stainless steel hose is the best I have seen or used, it is much more flexable than a standard vinyl or plastic hose and it does expand by simply pulling on it a little. Its normanl length is about 60".

I only gave it 4 stars because for the price I was really expecting it to be all metal, but then again if it was dropped it might break something if it was all metal. It apears to be a very high quality plastic in that on the hand unit you do not have a seam running the length of the unit showing where it was glued togeather like in the cheaper models.

Tired of trying to shower under a trickle?
Upon moving into our new house we found out that not all showerheads are created equal. We wished we had taken the showerhead from the old house but it was too late. After attempting to drill out the original showerhead and a brand new one and destroying both, I did some research a came across this style. The EPA regulates shower heads at 2.5 gallons per minute or less to conserve water. (I'd like to ask them exactly how I'm conserving water as I'm standing there twice as long trying to get the soap out of my long thick hair.) Because this shower head is actually made up of two separate heads, you can run both at the same time if you wish to double the output. Thank God for American ingenuity!

wavering..
To be honest, I haven't noticed a huge difference yet. We ordered the new culligan shower-head to go with it and have used the combo. at least a handful times. I guess it may just be a subtle difference and perhaps it'll be a matter of time to see a big difference but for now, it's been a subtle if much improvement at all.

We luv it we have been using the system for awhile now, we find it works great no problems with the filter. But were we live in our apt complex sometimes harsh things come thru our pipes and turn our filter a little rusty, i make sure i turn the filter around more often we usually do not have that problem. In a whole our skin is less drier and most of all that stinky smell is gone 100% of the time, and also like most reviews say it does not lasy 6 months, we take many showers long ones we usually replace it 3 - 4 months, WE LOVE CULLIGAN!!!!!!!!!!!MAHALO FOR YOUR PRODUCTS!!!!!!!! I'm Sold
I initially approached this purchase with a lot of skepticism, but I figured at its cheap price it wasn't much to lose. But after reading some of the reviews on this site I was hopeful that there would be some benefit. For me the difference is night and day. We have very chlorinated water where I live, and it has caused bad eczema flare ups. All the lotions and prescription creams couldn't contain the flareups, but this little thing has all but eliminated them. I'm totally shocked how effective it is at removing chlorine. The only negative I would say is that these only seem to last about a month for me until I start seeing symptoms again, but I'll gladly pay $14 a month for healthy skin. Can anyone else comment on how long these last for you?

Shower filter
I was amazed with the quality of the filter. The chlorine smell immediately went away as well as the irritation to my skin caused by the chlorine and other impurities in the water. Highly recommend for everyone.

No more chlorine vapors
These filters are part of the Culligan shower head and are simple to change out once the shower head is installed (which is also quite easy to do). We do not have any chlorine smell in the shower and the shower stays cleaner longer. I like the fact that I can reverse the filter after 6 months and get even more life. Every shower in my home has these and we are all healthier for it. No hard science to back up my opinion, but we had a distinct odor before installing these and it is gone now. We have used these for about 9 months now and have just bought the first replacement filters which prompted this review.

The only thing that is wrong with it is it folds and creases and wont come undone. I had to lay it out the other week to get it flat so it would keep the heat in my shower.

Better than expected!
I was shopping for a basic clear shower curtain like many I have bought before. I was highly surprised that it is made of heavy duty thick plastic and the holes are reinforced. Very high quality product.

No Mildew Smell
Very heavy, not cheap, a little hard to maneuver at first, because it was stiff, but absolutely great product for the price. there has been no mildew smell since I started using it!!! Saved me from washing my fabric shower curtain frequently. I would recommend it to anybody.

Great shower curtain!
It shipped quickly and love its weight and sturdiness. No mildew yet. It has only been a month since I bought it, but it's showing promising signs that it won't mildew. I just moved and needed to get another shower ready for use for spontaneous guests and so bought a $10 clear liner from Target, but would've ordered this one again from Amazon if I had more prep time. This product is worth the extra $ and is at least 3-4 notches above the Target one. Only thing is if you prefer the shower bar to be at a high level, you may want to pay extra notice to the height on this shower curtain.

Great showerhead for low water pressure
Very low water pressure in our older home, and no desire to have the place re-plumbed. This shower head is fabulous for our situation! It feels like you actually have water pressure.

Downsides: more steam in the bathroom, and the shower feels cold if you move away. We expect that both are the results of the oxygenation, and totally worth it for the real shower experience.

Very satisfied
I just received this about an hour ago, so I decided to take a shower. Why not? It took about 5 or 10 minutes to install and even the teflon tape was included. I was so excited that I forgot to read the instructions, but I didn't need to, what can be simpler than installing a shower head? So, I started this puppy up and dove in feet first. I was greeted with this strong cascade of water gently beating against my skin. It immediately brought back memories of showers at good hotels. I stayed in there a bit longer than I normally do because it felt really good. As I sit writing this, my skin feels as if I just stepped out of a hot tube. I feel really clean!

So, does it save water? I say yes and I base that on two observations. First, it took longer for the water to get warm and I attribute that to the water taking longer to go through the pipes to the shower head. Second, there was almost no water build up in the bottom of the tube as was normal with my other shower head. My drain could easily keep up with this rate of flow.

Okay, the other shoe drops! The hose is a bit short. It was long enough to get the job done, but washing the dog is out of the question. The hose was a little stiff, but on the bright side, once everything was tightened into position, it wasn't really an issue. Now the last thing is not really an issue, but more of, I got to get used to it issue. It just feels odd that the head juts out further than I am used to, but hey, it looks really cool.

worked well, then failed after 1.5 years
This showerhead worked well... until it stopped working well. We purchased it because of its water-saving features and positive reviews. Earlier this year, the low-flow valve between the showerhead and the hose failed; water completely stopped coming through. Removing the valve enabled us to keep using the showerhead, but the hose near the base of the showerhead has recently sprung a leak. There is nothing that can be tightened, and the leak is getting worse each day. This was a disappointing purchase, particularly considering that we paid full list price for it two years ago.

Sleek but slippery
I'm really enjoying this handheld shower head. The product was well-packaged and the instructions are good. The only thing I would change would be the shape, or texture, of the handle. It's perfectly round and slick which makes it a little unwieldy using wet hands. All in all a good product that makes getting really clean easier.

The Winner!
My own personal Shower Quest came to an end (finally!) with the installation of the Oxygenics BodySpa! I have purchased (too) many shower heads over the past several years and have never been fully satisfied with the results. This product, however, delivers and its simplicity and price just add to my happiness! It adjusts easily from fully invigorating (my favorite) down to just a trickle.

Heads up: you will need to look closely at the illustrations on the installation instructions but all the info you need is there - it just wasn't perfectly clear in the text.

Great product considering the cheap price.
Just used it today and I'm am impressed,wanted to take a longer shower because it's way stronger than what I was using before especially when it's on massage.

Easy to intall perfect length hose for kids
This unit was very easy to install and looks double the price I paid for the whole set. Just the shower arm mount is equivalent to the full set by Hansgrohe. I was scared about the installation but the instructions are clear just need a spanner and some thermal plumbing tape and about 10 minutes.

I've been using it for a few weeks and the water pressure is great and the hose has adequate length to wash my toddler in the bath. I liked the hansgrohe showerhead so much I changed my other shower for another one of their green eco line to save water.

Costco was recently offering a $[...] After $[...] OFF Hansgrohe Monsoon
Shower Set. I was curious if Amazon.com was offering that brand for cheaper, because all I wanted was the hand shower attachment. Sure enough, I found this hand shower kit for only $[...]. The online reviews were good so I purchased.

The kit came a day earlier than expected. I installed in less than 5 minutes with no tools, using the illustrated instructions on the packaging. I checked for leaks...none. With the shiny chrome finish, the kit looks classy, stylish, and luxurious. I took my first shower this morning and this piece heightened my shower experience! The water pressure felt so good. The kit heightens the shower nozzle, which is great for me, because I am 6'2". I definitely recommend.

Not what I expected
Pro: Easy to install. Shower is nice size when using.

Cons:It feels like it will not last. I hate the plastic feel of the handle. Also the hose is short compared to the one I replaced with this one. Also when switching the settings for the pressure when using the handlheld, I can say that is worthless.

I gave three stars because it looks impressive and does do its job. I just wish it was a better quality product.

Great Value
I bought this item, because it was cheap for the style and features available. Well, I got a great value! With well water I don't have the best water pressure so the massager settings aren't the strongest they could be, but they are still very good. I'm very happy the this product and do not plan to go for a more expensive model.

additional purchases required
I bought this item and recieved within a week.
I used it for the firt time and was dissapointed on the lack of information of requiring additional items fot this product to work correctly.
First of all the shower head comes down really low am 5'2" and feel it is too low, so I also bought the S shaped extension arm to raise the shower head, which made a huge difference to my 6'husband and I.
When installing the actual shower head and hose the instructions indicate to NOT FORGET THE WASHERS for inside the hose on each end. Well this product didn't come with the stupid washers. Come on the things don't cost that much they can't include them with the product. Total BULL! The inconveient to having to go to the hardware store was a real pain.
All in all the product is great, but be warned if purchasing get all the items required to install and avoid extra trips to the hardware store.

Great Shower System
This shower systems provides a great water flow. It was simple to install. Some minor leaking at the connection to the shower pipe, which does not seem to be much of a problem. We have had it about one month and have been very pleased with its performance to this point.

FANTASTIC!!!
Add me to the list of completely satisfied customers. Our old shower heads, Waterpiks, put out low pressure since we have been living in this house. we just assumed it was low water pressure overall (which is actually true). Lately I had been thinking about buying showerheads that you could modify by making a hole in the flow restrictor.

However, first I wanted to see if maybe getting 2.5 gpm showerheads would be enough. And man, it was. This is night and day.

Installation was easy. all you need is a wrench or big pliers to tighten three threaded parts. Buy some teflon tape to make the joints more waterproof (although I think the utility of this is debatable... but then again teflon tape is like $5).

On my second showerhead installation, I ran across the "leak" problem that others have described. The solution delineated in a front page review about tightening something in the three way diverter did not work for me. You need a BIG allen wrench to fit the gold part he's talking about. anyway, all I did was try to turn anything that could be turned in a clockwise direction over and over again. Seemed to do the trick.

The flow is perfect. It increased a REALLY weak shower flow into something very very good.

Great showerhead; easy install
I really love this shower head. It was very easy to install using just pliers to tighten it up and does not leak. I did remove the water saver washer thingey so as to have better water pressure, however, as I really like a lot of spray and some power behind it. This has several good settings, but mostly I use the middle range wide spray which is strong enough and full enough to get you rinsed well, but not hard enough to damage delicate skin. The more powerful setting ( which could just about put out an eye! ) I use only on my back if it's sore or painful, and I also use this stronger one to rinse soap film off the shower walls after I finish my shower, which saves on scrubbing the tub and shower walls as often. So far I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice removeable handheld or fixed shower head with only a few bells and whistles, one that works very well, has several different settings to meet average needs of most people, is reasonably priced, and seems of good quality material.

Great showerhead, could use some improvement though...
Before I begin, I have to say that the showerhead gives great pressure and gives a very strong, even, and wide flow from the head.

With that being said... The only way to achieve good flow is by removing BOTH the restriction plug AND the filter. When removing only the restriction plug, the water barely trickles out. This is one reason why it doesn't get the full 5 stars. Without the filter screen, there is a chance stuff will soon plug up the holes in the showerhead.

The other 'con' is that the hose that connects the shower head to the pipe is very heavy, not very flexible, and has the tendency to stick up off the wall. It would have been MUCH better if it was made out of flexible steel/aluminum piping or a softer material than rubber.

In the end though, the showerhead has a very elegant look, has great flow and very easy to switch settings, and does not have any issues with leaks. For under $25 - you can't go wrong.

we've needed a detachable shower head for years now, mostly to make bathing our 4 year old daughter(looong CURLY hair) & 5 year old son easier. & this one does it's job plus more! the style & coloring is nice, not cheap looking in the least, so far it's seemed heavy duty & held up to a family of four who bathe & shower usually more than 4 times a day total, & it's definitely helped in cutting the time spent cleaning the shower/garden tub, as well as washing our daughter's long & usually impossible hair! i would definitely recommend this product to just about anyone! & did i mention how great the price was for such an awesome product? the free shipping didn't hurt either!!

acceptable handheld shower
Fairly easy to install, doesnt appear to leak at joint. water pressure is reduced a bit and none of the settings increase pressure. Using it as a handheld while shower my disabled son, the hose could be a bit longer for reaching around.

It works very well!
It is wonderful, and it works in my skin, in my hair, and in my eyes. Never more I will open my eyes to chlorine - bleach water. Now, it is a pleasure to be under the shower for many minutes. I recommend it to everyone who wants healthy skin and healthy hair.

Don't know if it does anything or not
We installed this a few weeks ago and haven't really noticed any difference in our showers.

Doesn't seem to do a lot for hard FL water
I don't own a water softner, so I hoped that this would help in the shower. It doesn't do much. The water is still fairly hard and leaves residues as well as making my skin dry. Of course, we have awful water in Central Florida, and I am more sensitive to hard water than most. Still, the difference was barely measurable.

Great water filter
I'm loving my soft water. No more hard water or chlorine. I'm happy with the simple design and ease of use.

Great Filter, Bad Design
Purchased this and installed easily within a few minutes, but when I turned on the water it leaked out the side spraying water everywhere. This filter does not come with a shower head as shown in the picture, you have to use your old one or buy a new one and screw it on to this unit, which for me was no problem as mine was basically new. I got this shower filter for an extra bathroom that doesn't get alot of use and thought I would save a few bucks from the Culligan model WSH-C125 that I purchased before and have had no problems with. Alot of reviewers have had no problems with this unit but some reviewers have, so order at your own risk. I now have returned this unit and purchased another Culligan WSH-C125 which both Culligan models ISH-100 and WSH-C125 use the same WHR-140 filter which works fantastic for my well water which is hard. If you get the ISH-100 and it does not leak then you will be very pleased with the results, as for the chlorine or sulfur odor I cannot review this filter as my water has none present, but if you have well water that is hard this filter will make a big difference in your skin and hair, much softer after only the first shower.

These are perfect to use as shower curtains. There are well made, high quality construction.
The pale green color was a perfect shade but the lavender is more a bluish shade than lavender.

Hem is NOT weighted.
This is a nice alternative to plastic liners, except that there really isn't any weight on the hem. The "weight" is more like a thicker strip of fabric, so it doesn't stay in place while the water's running and instead flies all over the place. Not exactly effective.

After searching and many disappointed purchases this shower curtain is waterproof. Would recommend it.
