Most recipes include chemical fragrance oils
This book was a disappointment to me because I thought it was a natural perfumery text. The majority of the recipes include chemical fragrance oils.

Not Like I Remember
Another of my 80s cologne re-stock. I remember this as being more rich and musky (but might be confusing it with Z-14). This one is okay, but not something I am rushing out to wear too often.

It is masculine and rich but not all that memorable after all.

WOW WHAT A DEAL
Halston Z14 is my favorite cologne. My wife just bought me a small bottle locally for 22 dollars plus tax. I came across this ad here and bought 2 bottles. When they arrived WOW there is over twice of the amount in 1 bottle than in my other one, and the price here was $7.70. Im very happy and would not of believed it if it didnt happen to me. Refreshing
I had used this product in the 1970's and moved on. When I remembered it in 2009 I wanted to try it again. The fragrance retuned to me and I now enjoy St. John's Bay Rum all over again. Although strong at first; the fragrance dissipates slowly. Nice choice for evening.

St. Johns Bay Rum
I bought this for a very close friend who could not find it anywhere. He was so excited. he has since passed away, but I will never forget the smile on his face when he got it. it does smell very sensual. A great cologne for men.

Man's fragrance
Difficult to find product, but worth the search. Appeals to men and pleasnt for women to be near.

Not what it use to be
It had been quite a time ago that I purchased St. John Bay Rum previous to this purchase. It was much more aromatic and the scent lasted longer back then. I will go back to Royall Bay Rum for less money and same lasting power. Too bad they had to ruin a good thing.

Pleasant scent.
Personally, it's okay, but then I'm not the one wearing it. It was a request from my husband. I don't know if he'd seen an advertisement or smelled it in a store before. It was in his Wish List, so I made his wish come true.
It does not do for me what Canoe or British Sterling do. I can't knock it though, as it is a nice scent and suits my husbands chemistry quite well.

Why does thie same person keep writing fake reviews on this product???
I mean seriously obviously at least 50 reviews on this product are from the same person. I cannot believe someone would put so much time and effort to do this and write retarded reviews. Talking about in the limo, screwing strippers, getting divorces because the guy smells so good and all the women want em. I mean grow up.

It smells good but not for me!
Despite of OUTRAGEOUS reviews,I went ahead and bought one,it doesn't cost a lot anyway.I just wanted to try it.It smells good but not for me.I'm in my 20's and I'm looking for something that is mild and not loud smell like this.This cologne is for OLD guys,like RONNIE the LIMO driver LMAO! if you have kick-ass B.O.this is also for you because it will mask the smell,LIKE the ARMENIANS who smells like dead camels.this is for them.Other than that...nothing special,delivered on time so Im giving it a 5 over all. the smell is about 2.5

Smells so good....
There is something about this cologne that just smells so delicious on my husband. Don't let the name or price fool you...I love it, as well as my husband, who is quite picky. A very sexy cologne.

Didn't think it was what I was about, but...
I never thought I was the type of guy who was about getting drunk, meeting guys, meeting girls and getting tattoos referencing my favorite strip club. I truthfully am kind of a straight laced conservative guy. But then my good friend who is a limo driver and security guard for midgets bought me this stuff. I didn't want to use it but I figured he is such an old guy that he must have some experience and knowledge. I reluctantly tried it.

I sprayed half a bottle on and wow it was an instant transformation. All of a sudden I was yelling all the time. I discovered that all I ever wanted was to be about meeting guys, meeting girls, getting drunk, and having fun. A few of my friends didn't like the transformation so I asked them, what their problem was and then told them to go eff*&* themselves.

I only gave it 4 stars because I found that it forced me to hit on girls in ways that were inappropriate, insist on matching oddly colored dress shirts and tee-shirts, wear mock turtle necks and feel the need to deliver cookies to a select group of people.

Not that good
I don't know why everyone raves about this one, Claiborne has few great fragrances.. plus they use cheap ingredients, so the few that they do have that are good.. don't last long.
This basically smells like peaches. The weird part is it smells like somebody spilled this peach fragrance all over a circuit board, the board then fried and mixed with the peaches. I'm not even joking.. this smells like peaches and fried circuits. Not to mention it doesn't last very long at all.
You want a good orange-ish peachy scent.. go with Nautica Sunset Voyage.. One of my personal favorites.
