Caused severe chemical burn!!!
My daughter used this product for about three days. Yesterday she started with a rash which then turned into a really bad chemical burn on most of her face! It didn't really help the acne, her skin looked way better before using this. Now not only does she have the burn, but also patches of dry white flaky skin that will not go away! I guess if you want to burn a layer of your skin off, this is the product to use. Be very very careful if you use this! Her face is a hot mess. The burn is very red, rashy, and really painful.

I Love this Product!
This product is unbelievable! My son is 15 years old, African American, and had a severe case of acne on both sides of his face and on his forehead. We tried numerous creams, cleansers, soaps, and home remedies found on the Internet. Nothing worked! Finally in desperation, I bought this product because I thought it was "Proactiv"; I misread read the advertising slogan as the product title. When I realized my mistake, I started to return it to the store, but decided to see if there were any online reviews. Since everyone was raving about it, we decided to give it a try. It's been two weeks and the acne is completely gone. Everyday you could see improvement: first the pimples diminished, then the black scarring started to fade, and now it's as if he never had acne. I don't know if "Proactiv" works, but "AcneFree Severe" definitely does!

Best Product I Used so Far !!!!
I've had clear skin all my life and after turning 20 I started getting some mild acne on my back and shoulders and I didn't pay much attention to that as long as my face was clear and all of a sudden boom ! My beautiful skin is infested with cysts and almost any kind of acne that exists, I would all bouquet of acne like 5-10 at the same spot. I used ProActive and almost any other OTC products I could find, nothing would help. I came across this product and believe it or not this was like last Acne Medicine that I hadn't tried from CVS pharmacy and I thought well it's not going to help anyways and I gave up already and just accepted the fact that my face wouldn't be as it used to. Sounds familiar? First week, OMG First week and it's all gone. I couldn't believe it. I've been using this product for a month now and been following all the directions and using it 2 times daily and I've had some acne scars, they are clearing up too ! This product gave me confidence I had and took all that frustration out of my life, now I can look in the mirror and see myself again and not the acne infested face. I've been following healthy diet and trying to avoid acne causing foods as much as I could and it worked. All of it's said there are some downsides too. First of, these medications are very potent and my left eye been itching since I started using this product because I think I accidentally applied some around my eye. Other than that I'm so glad I tried this product and would recommend to anyone with moderate - severe acne. I would also recommend you putting aloe gel on your face because it really soothes and makes the redness and irritation go away.

Best I ever tried
I'm 35 years old and I've had severe acne since I was about 14. I took antibiotics as a teen for it...it hasn't remained at THAT severe level, but I still have quite a bit of issues with my complexion, especially considering at my age its usually not an issue.

I finally decided to try something more expensive so I saw this at Walmart and picked it up. Wow!!! My face is REALLY looking better. Yeah I still get a pimple or two here or there but overall my complexion is so much improved.

A few thoughts...

First, the toner goes way faster than everything else. My kit has lasted about 2 months and I'm about ready for a new kit. But after like 3 weeks I needed to order more toner, so I just got the regular AcneFree toner, a big bottle of it, on Ebay. It works just as well.

Speaking of the toner....Its AMAZING how much dirt it takes off your face, even right after I've scrubbed my face in the shower! No wonder I was breaking out....there's so much dirt hiding here and there in my pores and face its not even funny.

Anyway...also beware that the cleanser and the morning lotion contains benzoyl peroxide and it WILL bleach your towels, pillowcases, and clothes if you are not careful. The night cream contains retinol and that does not bleach, and the toner is just soothing and cleansing.

I love how the retinol smooths your skin at night and the toner also feels great...and the peroxide works during the day. I have not had my face irritated or dried out at all using this. Before I replaced the toner, I tried some Neutrogena acne toner and it dried out my face and I started breaking out. When I went back to using all four steps of the AcneFree, I cleared back up.

The only bad thing is I'd like to use this on my chest as well but I'm afraid of bleaching my clothes so I do not.

Anyway I'm really happy with this and would recommend it to anyone, and am getting ready to buy my second kit.

Only thing that has worked so far!
This is the ONLY product that has cleared my skin. I honestly picked it out of all the products because it was in a bright package and on sale. I am very glad their marketing worked! I tried proactive (worked for a month then just started to dry and deteriorate my skin) and Nutregena, I even saw a dermatologist and was given prescription strength medications lotions and even birth control for acne. None of it worked nearly as well as this. It has even started to get rid of some of the scars that past acne break outs left. I wish I had one of those before and after pictures. I encourage people to give this product a try.

Disappointed!!
I thought I try something new and ended up purchasing this product. I see no difference at all. The only thing pleasant was the smell, otherwise it was complete waste of money. For anyone interested in clearing their acne, I recommend purchasing the Panoxyl 10% BP cream.

As good as they say
I bought this and the Laroche Evaclar face wash. It's been exactly one week today that I got it from Amazon and started using it. Let me tell you, this stuff is amazing. As good or better than the reviews on amazon say. I have not had one new zit since last weekend and any zits I had when I started using this are gone now. I've been getting these deep zits since I was like 13, so it's taken me 10 years to find something that works this good. In one week I feel much more confident than I have in years. They say to wait for 2 weeks for full results, and if I'm this satisfied now it can only get better. You really feel clean when using this product. All I need now is something to diminish a few small scars I have from years of zits. I don't think Laroche has a product like that yet.

I was skeptical at first. The only way I found out about this product was at Rite-Aid with 1 bottle of the Body spray. It seemed to be working ok, and I did a search on Amazon.com for it, and seen all the great reviews. So for $10, I was like why not? Man am I glad I did. Amazing stuff, I noticed a difference after 2 or 3 days, then 1 week was even better, 2 weeks was more and going a month strong, almost completely clear, if I do get any breakouts, gone in a day almost. Strongly recommended for anybody who has gone to a Dermatoligist for years (i'm 28, been going since I was 13). Tried Retina, tretinoin, differin, all topicals, oral prescripts. Proactiv and others over the counter. I use Neutrogena Adavanced Solutions facewash and spf15 lotion, the acne lotion worked, but not as good as natures cure lotion.(almost the same, but natures cure has twice the benzoyl peroxide and additional aloe for cooling) with Natures Cure 2 step process. I'm sold.

Not skeptical anymore!
I was looking for something to help my 15 year old son with his acne and read the reviews on this product. Knowing that hormones and genetic makeup have a lot to do with persistent skin problems, it only made sense to use a product that worked on both the inside (where they start) and the outside. The ingredients in the product were all perfectly harmless and the reviews were positive, but I also know that if something sounds too good to be true-it often isn't true. But the price was minimal and worth the risk.

We marked my son's "start date" on the calendar and tomorrow it will be two full weeks since that day. He and I both are totally AMAZED.
BEFORE Nature's Cure(NC):no matter what we tried topically, his skin was fairly "bumpy" even where no pimples had erupted, he would get 4 or 5 new ones a day, and at any given time he'd have 4 or 5 previous ones that he was trying to heal/dry out/deal with too.
AFTER NC:The first thing we both noticed was that the rate of new ones dropped drastically, I'd say about an 80% drop. The second thing we noticed was that the ones he was getting were FAR less severe and were healing much faster. After the first couple of days watching him (just in case he had any negative side effects from the tablets, which he did not)I forgot all about it. A couple of days ago he was talking to me face to face when I suddenly realized how GREAT his skin looked! My eyes widened and he stopped in the middle of a sentence and asked "What?" I grinned and said "Can I touch your face?" He grinned and said "Yeah! It's cool huh?" and I couldn't believe it! The "bumps" on the surface were totally gone and his skin was so SOFT and healthy looking.

Now, he STILL has some pimples, but they are random and small, and it hadn't even been two full weeks before there was a visible difference to others. (He had noticed long before I did because he obsesses about his face every day) And maybe I'm just imagining this part-but I'd SWEAR that the tablets, which are supposed to help counteract the stressful hormones that cause acne, have improved his moodiness! Not a whole lot mind you, and maybe it's just that his self-confidence is improving as his skin does, but he's been more easy going and less snippy at his siblings than usual. Either way I'm SO thankful for this product and my son has already asked me to reorder it so he doesn't run out.

I have had acne on my back for so many years and it looked horible. I've been using this bottle for only about a month now and the acne on my back has almost been gone! The reason why I gave it 4 stars was because it can't be used upside down and that it smells a bit.

Product works great. Cleared my skin, but you have to use it 2-3 times daily.

I always repurchase
I live in a very hot/humid climate and go to the gym regularly, and without treatment, my upper back will really break out. Hormones don't help either, I suppose. I also use a salicylic body wash (Neutrogena) in the shower being sure that it's the last thing I use (after I rinse my conditioner fully), then after I towel off, I spray this in the affected area and just let it dry. I'm glad to say that my back is perfectly clear. I've been using this stuff for years - also used to use Avon's Mark Bacne Spray before it was discontinued - but this is a great substitute. Will keep buying it as long as they keep making it!

So far....I'm not impressed
I was extremely disappointed when Avon stopped selling their Bacne spray. That stuff seemed to work miracles! But since they did stop selling it, I had to try to find something that worked just as well. I didn't want to shell out major money for something if there was a cheaper alternative so I decided to try this. It has a slight smell to it and gets a little sticky, but that doesn't bother me since I put it on before going to bed and shower the smell off in the morning. So far, I can't see that it has made any major difference, but I'm still trying it out. I hope to see a difference before summer really sets in and I want to wear tank tops.

GREAT PRODUCT SMALL BOTTLE
This product is working well at maintaining my back acne free. Please note that if you currently have body acne you must first treat the ones you allreday have with Benzoil peroxide ( zapzit works great!!) and wash your back and or body with a salicilic acid soap (I used Neutrogena) Use the body spray twice daily along with these other two items and you ll have guaranteed results. After you have cleared up continue to use the spray to prevent breakouts. I suggest to let the spray air dry before puttin on clothes.

Spray cap does not really spray upside down.
Bottle is too hard to self handle for back acne
Botle shuld be biiger ( 8 onz or more ) Keeps running out every week!

Not bad
I've had a problem with acne for quite a while. It's never been too bad but my skin has never been completely clear either. I've heard a lot of reviews about ProActiv and thought it was worth a try. It worked just like every other face wash I've every used. It kept my skin for breaking out too much but I still broke out. I would just stick with the less expensive stuff then spend over $50 on this product again.

This configuration will leave you very disappointed
Proactiv is GREAT, but this configuration will leave you very disappointed. The sizes are small for the price and you might as well buy the "Mega" Supersized bottles instead for an additional $10. There is no way that the sizes in this configuration would last for 60 days of use. This ad is misleading.

You'll find a better deal right here on Amazon, just search for "Super Size Proactiv" and you'll find it, and get much larger sizes with free shipping (usually).

Conclusion: Proactiv is Recommended! (but buy another configuration).

over hyped
I've used Proactive for 15 year and it never cleared my moderate acne. I had to quit using it because my acne was getting worse and it was over drying my skin.

A highly effective ance treatment product, but...
Proaciv is a highly effective acne treatment brand but, here's the catch - you have to keep at it. Firstly, it takes a few weeks before you see significant results. This is the case for any acne treatment product really - you just HAVE to be consistent and give it time. So, folks looking for a quick solution to their problem (i.e. - clearing up your skin in time for prom or a wedding, for example) will be disappointed.

Secondly, it is not a magic potion capable of "curing" acne. Once you stop using the product, your acne will return unless you take active steps to maintain the health of your skin. It is often believed that merely using a product can be the only change made to help your skin. Clear skin is about more than just using the right brands.... having clear skin is about understanding skin.

Overall, I'd say use this product if you can afford to consistently buy it. If you can't, understand the ways to help keep your skin healthy since, if you don't take those steps, it is HIGHLY likely be disappointed once you stop using Proactiv.

The Best
This is the only stuff that works for me. I have had acne since I was a teenager. I still have it, and I'm 31. If I consistently use this, it pretty much takes care of all my acne. I am not an extreme case, but I average about five or six noticeable pimples on any given day. This reduces them down to a minimally noticeable two or three.

I have dry/combination skin. If any of you have skin like mine, here is my acne advice. Hot wet washcloth scrub every morning and night. Use moisturizer with some alpha hydroxy. When you have dry skin, it is important to exfoliate because flaking skin will clog your pores and cause the acne. But don't be too harsh. Change your pillowcase! If you have long hair and don't wash it at night, put it back in a ponytail before going to bed. Exercise. It helps circulation under the skin and destresses. Stress can also cause acne, so find other ways to destress. Drink lots of water and get good sleep. I've also found that vitamins and fish oil pills help.

And please please use this product.

Murad Acne Spot Treatment
I have been using this Murad Acne Spot Treatment every time I clean my face, as same as many of my family members. It controls the acnefrom redness to inflamation, leaving the clean skin and acnes are gone in 1 to 2 days with minimun appearance, less noticeable.

Active Ingredient Sulphur makes the difference
Let's face it: most high-end products are worthless, they have the same ingredients that middle-range products at the drugstore have. Don't believe me? Check out thebeautybrains dot com. Cosmetic scientists tell us what we've known all along: high end products are no different than mid-range ones.

That said, sulphur is a new component of acne care that's just coming into the mainstream now. While benzoyl peroxide is far better at clearing up acne than salicylic acid is, neither have the spot treatment or weekly mask abilities that sulphur has. Murad is the only spot treatment I've found with sulphur; I also often use Proactiv's refining mask, which also has sulphur in it. Murad's spot treatment works like a dream. If you get it on the skin around the acne, it won't burn and peel, like using 10% benzoyl peroxide spot treatment would. It shrinks the pimple without sucking it dry, either. Be sure you shop around for the best price, too - I got mine for $9, with shipping, on ebay. It looks like it's a lotta money, but the spot treatment is runny - this will last me years, or until it goes rancid.

Amazing
Murad should create a full facial treatment based on this sulfur spot treatment. I end up using it all over my face and it works wonders. 99% of the time a huge zit is gone the next day. Murad has truly saved my skin.

clears up everything
I bought this because when I work out I started to get body acne....with one application of this, it started to clear up almost all of it! You have to be consistent with this product. I would apply twice a day after I showered. One thing to note is that this product will dye clothes and towels so be careful. But it REALLY works!!

Product works great, but can stops working when only half-empty
This product stopped all of the acne I was having on my back. It was great. But then the can stopped working after about 10 days of use. The can was still half full though. So I thought is was just a bad can until I bought another can and it did the exact same thing. Before buying I would make sure you can be refunded your money if this product defects on you.

Great product-bad container
My daughter has had some stubborn acne on her forehead. A Dr prescribed a Retinoid and a antibiotic wash. When that didn't work he prescribed a benzoyl peroxide wash and we saw some results. It was expensive though so I decided to try an over the counter high % benzoyl perioxide product. PanOxyl worked great. But the foaming container is only about half empty, but we cannot get anymore out of it. It is supposed to foam out like a mousse, but nothing is coming out. Great product but they need a container that is distribute all the foam.

Is the menthol necessary?
After reading "The Acne Cure", I set out looking for a 2 percent salicyclic acid wash. The reviews of the clenziderm cleanser were impressive so I ordered it.

Clenziderm has a very nice fragrance, but felt a bit slimy and I needed a faily large amount to effectively lather my whole face. I liked how it rinsed off nicely and how clean my face felt, but the menthol really burned my eyes even after drying off. I needed to wash twice to get all the dirty oil out of my pores, so I first washed with Dr Bronner's castile soap (which I LOVE), then followed with the clenziderm, but the menthol was still overwhelming.

Afterwards, my face did feel calm, not irritated or itchy like it usually does, but I don't think I can continuously tolerate the menthol burn.

The book says ANY 2 percent salicyclic acid wash will do. I found phisoderm has one without menthol and without sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate or artificial coloring. It is also MUCH cheaper. It is also getting good reviews, so I will be ordering that next.

Great product!

Helps dry-out your pimples
I love this product. I have been using it for over two years and it really helps my oily skin to balance. It also helps dry out pimples. I aboslutely recommend it.

Best face wash
Best/most effective face wash I've ever used. I developed a mild-to-severe case of acne in my mid-twenties as a result of stress and birth control and tried multiple acne treatments, including Proactiv - which did not work at all. I even began going to a spa for various facial treatments such as skin peels (2 treatments seemed to improve my complexion somewhat) and microdermabrasion (no difference whatsoever). During my first visit to the spa, the aesthetician recommended Obagi Clenziderm for my acne, telling me that it goes beyond the skin's first layer to clean. I was skeptical but desperate, so I purchased the product. It worked wonders! I was a little worried about the cost, since such a relatively small bottle cost $35, but that bottle ended up lasting 6 months, using it twice a day! A little truly goes a long way!

Since it worked so well, I later tried adding Step 2of the treatment (the astringent) to my routine, but did not see a significant difference.

It works!!!
I got this product for my niece, who has acne problems and nothing seems to help. She had nothing to loose, so she got it and it works!!! Her face is much better ever since she started using this soap. Other products had similar start, but after a while they stop having effect. I only hope it will always keep her face clear. So far I am very pleased with the results!

made acne worse
i suffer from mild adult acne and decided to give this a shot after reading reviews here and on other sites. big mistake. my pimples are typically small and rarely are they painful and deep. within a week and a half i developed a cluster of deep, painful zits. weird, i thought, but didn't chalk it up to the soap. after another week of use i broke out in another set of deep, painful pimples on another area of my face. after that, i quit using immediately. the smell didn't bother me, but the massive zits did.

Better than expected
The soap worked better than I exected it to. My acne has been reduced by atleast 75%. Other reviews and my doctor warned me of how drying the soap was but I didn't find it to be too bad. I used a non-acne facial moisturizer after each wash and have been fine. The only complaint I have about the soap is the smell. I wish it had a nicer scent. When first taken out of the package it smells fine but once wet you can really smell the sulfur. I don't care for the smell of sulfur. I would recommend this product to friends and have.

this is a really good product for anyone who has a little acne and would like to clear it up.it really does work for my son who has acne and now his face really looks a lot better since he started using this product.thanks

So Far, So Good
I have sensitive skin. Products like benzoyl peroxide aggravate my acne problems and my dermatologist advised me to stay away from it. I am also very fair skinned so every red spot shows immediately. I have had good luck with sulfur based products, so I tried this soap. The soap does dry my skin out, but I have also found that any cleanser that has helped my acne usually does. At first some spots on my face broke out a bit, but there had been some latent spots that probably needed to be "pulled out" so to speak. In the past few days these spots have started to dry up and lose color. I will alternate use of this bar with a gentle cleanser like Purpose, but I think it has helped my skin a great deal.
