Didn't help
I have tried many different acne products. This one was like all the others - did not help eliminate or reduce the number of breakouts I had and it did not reduce or diminish any of the acne scars I have. I am very disappointed because I had high hopes for this one.

This is the best stuff I have ever used for my monthly breakout issue. It fades spots from old acne and keeps your face clear. It also just makes my skin look amazing. I hope Amazon never stops selling this product. I saw dramatic results within the first week of using this. I love it!

Misleading product
I used this product for over a month. It prevents red zits, but clogs your pores in the process. It caused so many blackheads that I had to stop using it.

This is the first time that I've written a bad review. It really is THAT bad of a product that I felt compelled to leave a bad review.

I am generally a fan of Scarzone products, but I don't recommend this item at all.

Amazing, Very Pleased
My acne started getting bad when I hit my twenties and has progressively gotten worse. I've tried every kind of over-the-counter acne products, prescriptions, etc. without relief. My last prescription from the dermatologist was terrible and after 4 months of waiting for the "worse before it gets better" to arrive I finally stopped using it altogether and began using Sudden Change Scar Zone Acne.

Initially I purchased this product in hopes of fading the horrible scars from my last breakouts on prescription meds and hadn't realized that in addition to helping fade it would also treat acne. I have extremely sensitive skin so I was a little worried I might have a reaction to the cream, but decided it was worth a try at least. I have been using the cream for 3 weeks now and am completely amazed at how wonderful it has worked. Not only have my red acne scars significantly faded, but my entire faces has cleared. When I look in the mirror now without makeup I can actually notice that it is visibly brighter -almost glowing which hasn't been the case for quite a while!!

I have not had a problem with overdrying as some reviews mention. I agree that the only downside to this product is the size of the tubes and small amount of product in them. If it works though, I figure it is worth the cost and why I still gave 5 stars.

Best acne treatment I've ever used!!
I've struggled with acne for years. Previously, I used Murad products with good results, but as I've gotten older, I found them too drying. Good all natural product

Works great for me!

My experience, no Bull
Ok, I'm a 26 y/o female, and have had mild/moderate acne since my late teens. My bad zone is on my chin and around the sides of my face by my ears and temples. It seems to have gotten worse in the past couple years for some reason. I used to use L'oreal Acne Response Kit, and it worked great up until recently, which is ok I guess considering it's been off the store shelves for a couple years now. I've been buying it online where I can find it, mostly here, and think it's pretty much completely gone now. Didn't work for me.
So I used this product faithfully for 3 months. It worked at first. It started drying my face out and so did a few of the pimples. As I kept using it (2 weeks in)I started getting the really bad, painful under the skin kind of pimples! I never had those before. My face had less visible pimples but way more painful bumps that were so huge that you really cant cover up with any kind of makeup. I kept using it thinking this would pass but it didn't. I now have deep scars from those humongous pimples that I wouldn't have gotten had I not used acne free!!

Works Well For Now
I am 35 years old and have been suffering from acne since I turned an adult. I've been using this product for 3 days and I see improvements I never got with Proactive or from my dermatologist. I've been battling with acne for over 3 years now.
I've tried Proactive and many other acne treatments.

I have been suffering from one of the most perplexing, persistent cases of acne since I turned 18 (an odd age to begin, in my opinion...). Ten years on, it's STILL a battle. Everyone who has this disorder just KNOWS. Sometimes I feel like a leper. So I just covered it with lots of creamy makeup. In 5 days of use, it's actually worked!
I've gotta tell you guys that this one is actually working for me. I got this a few days ago and have started using it since then. My acne is mild to moderate but I wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible so I used the product NOT as directed, LOL.. In every session I used it for more than an hour! And sometimes even more than that when I fell asleep under it. And that was everyday! Dunno if it's gonna do wrong on my skin because of that prolonged exposure to the light. I hope not. But otherwise it's working pretty well on me. My acnes have shrunk. In 24 hours I've also noticed some of my pimples have become pustulated, which basically means the bacteria have very well reacted to the light. Even my pores are tightening. And my skin- well, it's pretty much the same in texture but with a little bit of change. I can say it's slightly smoother. Well, we can't see the total result of it in just a few days of using it. I have severe adult acne, and have purchased many products with no sign of satisfaction in sight. I decided to buy this product, and have been using it for about 7 weeks.

I won't lie. This has not totally cleared my acne but I think it has helped in minimizing those zits in much less time than usual.

I've also noticed that it tends to dry out my combination skin, but this might be only me.

I'm making this post as realistic as possible. So, for those of you who have a "true" acne issue, it may not be the end solution, but it can definitively accelerate the healing process.

I bought the light about 5 months ago. I used it for 2 weeks and then it broke. After using it for 2 weeks I did think my skin was smoother, but I got some bad pimples along my nose, I think from wearing the goggles. Anyway, once it broke I asked them to send me a new bulb and they did, for free. In the meantime I was out of the country and unable to use the light or see if the new bulb would work. When I came back to the states and tried the new bulb it didn't work. So the company agreed to send me a new device. Thus my 5 stars are based on customer service. So far I haven't had a chance to really use it, so I can't really judge how well it works. Unfortunately, or fortunately, my acne has cleared up since I bought it (thank you benzoyl peroxide and salon facials), but I plan to pass the device on to my sister and see if it works for her. Will update if I see results.

I have been using this product for 10 days now. I have had a noticable improvement in my acne already. I am very excited to see the final results!! I will say that at first I have found it to be a time commitment, I have moderate acne primarily on my cheek/jaw/neck. So I have had to do 2-3 sessions to get full coverage of the problem areas. If I am time crunched I will break up my session times throughout the days. What works well for me is to use it daily on a different are so I'm not laying there for as long. Well... It didn't work for me.
Before I start, I find it odd that most reviewers that have written a review for this product
have never written a review before although they claim they have used so many other acne treatment products including those hand held lamps over many years...
And they don't even have "Amazon Verified Purchase" mark on their reviews...

Anyway, I purchased this product in August, used it for about 2 months, and returned it because it didn't work for me. But the "didn't work" part is not what I'm trying to share with you.

First of all, the product comes with protective goggles because the light is VERY intense and your eyes need to be protected. It really hurt my eyes even though I added some more protection to the goggles as the light is so intense and you have to put your face (or body part) DIRECTLY under the lamp no more than 6 inches away (The product comes with the manual). After each session, my eyes were red and watery and it was pretty painful.
I couldn't actually cover my forehead because it hurt my eyes way too much.
But, it might just be me as my eyes are a little light sensitive.

Also, it says 30 minutes per day and about 5 times a week if your acne condition is severe. You might think this is not much, but the lamp is actually not that big and your face or body part should be directly under it. You will see what I mean when you get the product. The applied part feels tingled, and gets warm. This means, unless you have a ridiculously small face, you need to do this at least 4 times to cover your entire face (Unless it's just chicks, forehead, or chin).
So thats... 30 minutes X 4 = 2 hours.

Although you can adjust the height of the lamp and the head of the lamp and all that to make it as comfortable as possible, it is not as easy as it sounds.
You have to put your face directly under very intense light that you need protective goggles. And you cannot be more than 6 inches away. You cannot see anything, and you cannot do anything other than listening to music. It is VERY boring. One reviewer said it was relaxing just listening to music and feeling his skin getting better etc etc. Well... He mustve had a very mild acne problem over a very small area if he needed only 1 session... Or he's never used the product.
2 hours a day is a HUGE dedication. Also I didn't like the tingling sensation when I was using the lamp.
And THE LAMP GETS SOOOO RIDICULOUSLY HOT. You actually smell something burning for a few weeks. I asked Trophyskin about it they said it's normal.

Anyway, all I want to say is that using this product can be VERY tedious and requires a huge commitment.
I couldn't find out about any of these because they weren't in the reviews or the description. Everyone was just talking about how well it works and stuff.
Using this product was very very tiring and barely bearable for me.
On top of that, It didn't work for me, so I wasted many many hours on top of the shipping cost.

It's because Trophyskin was very responsive to me, and when I had a problem with the product (The joint was broken when I got it) they had fedex pick it up and sent a new one right away.
Also, although it says 30 days on amazon, they still refunded after about 50 days for me.

My suggestion: Like I said over and over, using this product is VERY time consuming. Bear in mind that you need at least 4 sessions to cover the entire face and you cannot do ANYTHING other than listening to music. NO YOU CANT SLEEP IF IT ACCIDENTALLY FALLS ON YOUR FACE you gona get some serious burn and even if it doesn't you just can't. The light is way too intense.
But if you can spend some time on this, definitely try it. IT didn't work for me, but it did for other people apparently. If it doesn't work for you, you can always return it.

I'm going to try "NatureBright Clarity Skin Rejuvenation Light" now. It says I need only 15 minutes a day and it looks like one session covers the entire face. I have Amazon prime but I still had to pay $20 for shipping which is ridiculous... hopefully this will work better for me.

Really Helped flatten and fade away my c-section scar
I had great results with Scaraway on 2 different scars...one large from surgery, and one more minor cut. This was very easy to use...I just threw it in my purse and applied a few times a day. The texture of the serum was very silky and was totally invisible...it absorbed into my skin easily and did not feel oily or leave any residue like some others I have tried. NOTE: 1 tiny drop from the squeeze bottle covers the whole back of my hand...about 4 or 5 square inches, so 1 bottle is all you need for even larger scars. I even had some left over. I would recommmend for anyone with any kind of scar. I even use this on red spots left by my occasional blemish...I just spot treat when neccessary and the redness fades away fast.
