One of Our Favorites!!!
Very much like this pomegranate lip balm! Has a light, soothing texture that protects well and leaves my lips feeling soft and moisturized. Not nearly as thick feeling as plain ChapStick. Pleasant scent that quite often elicits a kiss from my spouse! No tinted look, when applied. Keeps my lips from being chapped, even in cold or dry weather. Much prefer it over other brands. Also like the Burt's Bees Beeswax (Peppermint) Lip Balm, but like this just a little more. Good for everyday and every night use. All natural, too. Not too expensive. Love it!

Best yet
I live on the desert where the wind can really take a toll on your lips. This product gives me all day protection and keeps my lips from drying out. I would recommend this product to everyone.

great stuff
I really like this lip balm. I have used the "regular" BB lip balm and something about this one is better. The smell is grate and it glides on much smoother and lasts longer. It isn't sticky yet smooth and soothing. My fav lip balm on the market for dry lips. I prefer this to chapstick and even over some of those gel tube types.

Finally, I found a good one....
I am not a fan of ALL Burt's Bees products but this one is my favorite and a winner. Not too heavy and not too light, it coats well and has an amazing scent. As a person who never smelled pomegranate, I was unsure of trying it, but was tired of the original scent. But I am glad I did. I wish they could make a variation without coconut oil as my husband can not have this on his lips because of allergies. I have one in my purse, one on my desk, and I keep one by my bedside.

Chapstick never worked for me, but this product does. I consider this more of a preventive product than a 'healing' product. If your lips are extremely chapped and this product isn't solving it, try a light coating of Aquaphor on your lips, it helped me one day when they were so brittle and dry.

Original Mint: Best lip balm ever! No, seriously!
This is, by far, the best lip balm I've ever used in my life! Yes, it's really worth the $7 price tag! Better than Keihl's, Burt's Bees, Blistex Naturals, Carmex, Aveeno, or Lypsyl.

Check out the short ingredient list: all plant butters and oils (except for the sunscreen, of course). No petrolatum, lanolin, or mineral oil. Free of preservatives, artificial flavors, sweeteners, and fragrances.

The intense natural mint is very cooling and soothing. A fresh burst that really refreshes my mental focus during the day. The strong mint is about on par with the minty strength of Burt's Bee's original stick. But it's not overly pepperminty (which I find Burt's Bees too strong). Do not get this if you don't love mint!

Nice thick texture feels great and stays put. Deeply moisturizing and protective. Not super glossy. But no mattifying ingredients either.

I wish I could buy it by the case!

The best lip balm.. and I've tried them all..
Lip Balm is very important to me, and one of the workers at Sephora recomended that I try this once when I was on vacation and needed lip balm fast. This is now the only Lip Balm I use. It's tingling mint flavor feels nice on lips, and it really moisturizes without being sticky or greasy looking. Even though it's from a men's care line, this lip balm is great for everyone. I am glad it has an spf 25 as well.

Great SPF, nice moisturizing base, but why oh WHY the mint?!
This product has a great SPF including avobenzone for UVA protection (which is crucial for daytime skincare as lips don't "burn" like face and body skin does but are definitely susceptible to signs of premature ageing from unprotected sun exposure). It also has a lovely moisturizing base. So why spoil this otherwise exceptional formulation with the inclusion of mint, which serves no skincare benefit but DOES cause irritation, especially to chapped, dry lips?

I gave this a try as the base formula (aside from the mint) looked too good to resist. Alas, upon applying the product to my lips they were burning and tingling and I rushed to remove the product (and promptly returned it to place of purchase).

I emailed Jack Black and requested a non-flavoured formula (or at least a nonvolatile flavouring like vanilla, chamomile or almond) but this was over a year ago and it seems they were not interested in my suggestion as the only version of this product available remains the mint formula. What a shame as, without the mint, this product would be superb.

Great product, Less than ideal packaging
I was in Nordstroms when they were having a Jack Black products promotion. I bought a bunch of great stuff but the lip balm was easily the best in the bunch. It has a pleasant minty taste. It's not greasy or oily and actually makes your lips feel better in no time at all. I used to use couple of other products but retired them to my night stand, keeping this product in my pocket exclusively. The only glitch (and the reason for only 4 stars on a 5 star product) was the weak plastic tube packaging. My tube cracked and leaked in my pocket. I had to use scotch tape to repair and get the last bit out of the tube. Aside from that, this is a great lip balm that works better than anything else I have tried.

Family Favorite
Our family was introduced to Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm by a commercial beekeeper several years ago. It quickly became our favorite, and now, it's the ONLY lip balm we purchase. It beats the fake-flavored lip balms hands down. We like to keep an ample supply for use when outdoors, but also find indoor air can often be just as drying to the lips. Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is a must-have for our family.
So glad Amazon offers this fine product!

Minty Lip Balm
This is my first purchase of Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm and I really like it. The flavor is minty and keeps my lips moist. Good product.

Not for everyone
My co-worker recommended Burt's, and practically every reviewer loves this balm, but it actually seemed to make my lips worse. This seemed to dry out my lips; my lips peeled a lot more when I used this, and I've tried many lip balms! This and SoftLips are two balms I would never buy, because they just don't work well with my body chemistry. My boyfriend, who's very frugal, bought this even though he could buy cheap 50 cents generic balm, because he likes it that much. That coming from a guy who usually doesn't care if his lips are dry. So I would say it works great for many people, just not me.

Our Other Favorite!!!
Very much like this peppermint scented lip balm! Has a cooling (due to the peppermint), soothing texture that protects well and leaves my lips feeling soft, moisturized and refreshed. Slightly thicker texture than Burt's Bees Replenishing (Pomegranate) Lip Balm, but not as thick feeling as plain ChapStick. Untinted. Keeps my lips from being chapped, especially in cold or dry weather. Much prefer it over other brands. Good for everyday use, but slightly prefer the Burt's Bees Replenishing (Pomegranate) Lip Balm at night. All natural, too. Not too expensive. Love it!

Makes your kisser slicker
I know I should be using this as a preventative. However it is usually one of those after the fact things. This animal will not rip your lips off if they are sensitive. It also does not smell like you have been kissing a koala.

Smooth, silky, and sinks in quick!
I have been using this lip balm for almost a week now, and cannot come up with enough good things to say about it. It glides on very smoothly, and feels a little more slick than most lip balms. The thin texture means there isn't too much gunk on your lips and it sinks in easily. It is untinted, and adds a subtle shine without glitter or colour- my boyfriend is always stealing mine, because he loves it too! On top of that, it is unflavoured and unscented, so I'm not forever wanting to lick my lips, so it stays in place a lot longer. I noticed with the weather warming my lips were chapping far more easily, so I gave this a try, and couldn't be more pleased. After just a week of use my lips are much smoother (and more kissable! ;) ). This has become a staple for me in a very short time; I keep one in my purse, one in my pocket, and one in my makeup box at home. For women (or men) looking for a balm to repair your sore cracked lips, a major moisture boost, and added sun protection, this is absolutely the balm to buy.

My lips never had it so good
I always have Nivea Kiss of Moisture within reaching distance. It goes on smooth, not chunky and no overpowering tutti-fruity smell! Sufficient protection for daily wear, but I agree with other users about wanting more if you are playing softball or skiing or out in the sun for extended periods.

Good, but inferior to the original "Essential" version
If I had not first tried the original "Essential" version of Nivea's 'A Kiss of Moisture' lip balm (Nivea A Kiss of Moisture Essential Lip Care - .17 oz.), I would think this "Hydrating" version was excellent. I bought this version because I thought it would be like the original plus have the benefit of light sunscreen protection. But despite the two versions' lists of ingredients seeming about identical, the original feels much more substantial when applied; and I believe it stays in place longer.

Some would describe the feel of the original version as being more waxy and thick. It may be, but I prefer it. By comparison, this "Hydrating" version feels slippery and thin. It might be doing the real work of protection and therapy (it seems to work well enough), but to me the original "Essential" version feels as if it is much better able to do the work.

Best lip balm i've used!!
I like this b/c its low in spf (when you're going to the beach of something, then you'd wanna use some spf 30 waxy lip balm) so it's very light, not sticky, and very very moisturizing!! I initially had a lipbalm that was high in spf, which was good for going outdoors, but if I was just going to go somewhere w/o as much sun exposure, it'd feel very poor clogging, so this lib balm is GREAT!! VERY MOISTURIZING!!

Kissy Kissy!
I switched over to this lip balm after trying Chap-stick, Aquaphor and other products for years. The Nivea balm goes on velvety smooth and doesn't leave your lips feeling greasy or looking shiny. It's more like a lotion that absorbs into the lips.
The only problem is that I have to rinse it off every day with warm water and (for me) a microfiber cloth. Otherwise, I end up with a layer of film that eventually cracks and peels off after a couple days. If I skip using the balm for a day or two, my lips get really dry but don't peel the same way. Maybe it's a medical thing, but I would think that using the balm every day would heal them.
All in all though, it's a good deal, as 6 tubes should last for years!

Smells like a cup of Earl Grey tea!
I really love this lip balm! First of all, it is 100% natural & organic. Secondly, it goes on very smoothly, and I get this wonderful aroma of a cup of Earl Grey. It is wonderful! Unfortunately, it doesn't last very long, but it is very emollient, and a great all around lip balm. I highly recommend it!

Great product for hot or cold climates
I was so pleased to find that I could order this product on line. I could only buy it in stores and they all discontinued this effective product. We lived in frigid NY for years and now live in toasty NC. It works wonderfully well in both climates to keep lips moist and unchapped. Great, effective lip balm.

Good
Got these today, they work well, only problem was with the heat here in Charlotte, NC. All of the had melted a bit inside the tubes. I hope the cool off and harden again. Other that these are nice.

Finding the Good Stuff
We have used Mentholatum Natural Ice Lip Balm for decades. It is not wax like Capstick, it is not Grease like Blistex. It medicates and protects when applied before being out in summer or winter. It heals chapped lips, noses, and other skin quickly. We call it the GOOD STUFF. When backpacking or Canoeing with teens and others and someone says, "Anybody have some Chapstick?" several of us who use Mentholatum Natural Ice will reply, "Let's make a convert!" Then they use Natural Ice and discover how good it truly is. The only problem is our local pharmacy that stocked Natural Ice was bought out by a chain that does not offer Natural Ice. Amazon has a new customer; we bought 2 boxes and took some to our daughter in another state.

Best Brand
I have used this product for years but it has become impossible to find locally so I went online. You have to buy in quantity but it's worth it. I will continue to use it.

I was so excited to find this online, because the stores around me stopped carrying this brand. I've been using it for the past 7 years, and I highly recommend it. At first I just got it because it was cheap, but even now that I have to pay a little more to get it online I buy it because I think it's a great product. I love the ice sensation from this chap-stick.

Safe, Good for daily use, but wouldn't recommend for the beach
After having done a fair amount of research, looking at a number of consumer websites, this sunscreen really seems to be the safest stuff on the market.

It doesn't have any of the chemicals that are known to (in certain conditions) increase the chances of cancer, and the main ingrediant - zinc oxide - is present in mostly 200 nm sizes or larger. That's a good thing, b/c anything 30 nm or smaller can be absorbed by the skin, and could potentially be absorbed by deeper tissues as well.

They have gone through great lengths to make sure that the product is engineered to be the absolutely safest sunscreen on the market, and it shows in the consumer reports after consumer reports that rate this sunscreen among the very safest. It also offers good UVA and UVB protection, another plus. (UVB rays cause sunburns and cancer, UVA rays give you wrinkles and aging...)

Many other sunscreens by contrast only offer good protection for UVB rays, or use chemicals that over long period of time can be harmful. There actually aren't too many sunscreens that are safe and offer wide protection.

All this being said, I have a few gripes with the sunscreen.

1) It definitely smells a little funny. I wouldn't go so far to say that it smells like medicine, but it does smell like some strange herbal tea. It is not a bad smell, but its not a great smell either. The scent is not very strong as other users suggest and not really that noticeable, but it is still somewhat annoying. They should either make it unscented, or make it a more 'normal' smell...

2) Contrary to what other users say, the sunscreen does not make your face white. They're probably just using too much of it. With this sunscreen a little goes a long way. You have to take a very small amount, and just rub it in carefully. It takes an extra minute or two to apply properly. The caveat though is that this is definitely NOT a good sunscreen to take to the beach. It would take a very long time to properly rub this in all over your body, so that it doesn't leave white streaks. I'd recommend this for a daily use sunscreen for primarily the face and arms.

3) In my own case, after several days of use my skin tends to become excessively dry. I have to take a couple days off. Not the best for people who tend to have dry skin either.

All this being said, I'd still recommend this product, because it is absolutely the safest stuff on the market. Ultimately even using a sunscreen like this every other day is probably better than no sunscreen at all. It'll protect against cancer and lessen signs of aging, so I'm willing to put up with some of the minor hassles associated with the sunscreen.

Great natural sunscreeen.
This is a great sunscreen, it is still thicker than the chemical laden versions but not as gooey/sticky/thick as some other natural kinds. It smells fine (not to strong or weird). I like it.

Great product but my son had a mild skin reaction :(
I love this product as it smells nice on the skin, rubs on easy as it has a creamy texture and it protects against burn all day. Unfortunately, this product caused my toddlers face to break out around his nose and mouth. Otherwise, I would recommend this product as he played for most of the day in the sun and in the water with this stuff on and absolutely no burn.

Doesn't Work - unless your willing to look like a White Monster
I've been taking care of my skin for years and using sunscreen regularly. I also care about looking good. This sunscreen in INCAPABLE of both protecting your skin and allowing you to look good at the same time. In order for the stuff to work properly, you have to smear large amounts of it all over yourself. Not only will you smell funny, but you'll look like a white ghost with visible chunks of white chemicals on your face blocking the sun.

In the past, I have used other products, including Kiss My Face. They do a better job of sinking into the skin and becoming unnoticeable and ALSO protecting your skin. So you can actually go out and look like a normal human being while your getting sun protection.

With this product, it will not work if you only use it sparingly, like some of the other products. You pretty much have to shellack yourself with big gobs of it, enough for you to look like a character from a horror movie, before you get protection from the sun. It can't realistically be used on a daily basis. Maybe it works great for a camping trip, or a sporting event if you don't care about looking good.

Wonderful natural sunscreen!
I have really enjoyed using this Badger Sunscreen. It goes on very smoothly and has a light, pleasant scent. It also works wonderfully, keeping me burn-free all afternoon.

You don't need to use a ton. When I put on a light, even coat and rub it in well, I have none of the problems that some reviewers have mentioned (white streaks, grittiness, residue on clothes). I do get a little white stuff on my hair when I put sunscreen on my part, but that's no worse than the oily residue other sunscreens leave. (If you've never gotten sunburn in the part of your hair, count yourself lucky. A little white on my hair is a small price to pay!)

I definitely plan to keep using Badger Sunscreen. It works very well and doesn't have the unpleasant chemicals (particularly oxybenzone and benzophenone) found in most products. I want to try the unscented version, but I don't mind the mild scent that this has.

My go-to chapstick!
I got this free with a sunscreen. It has spf 15 without the smell or taste of sunscreen! Makes my lips appear just balmy, no added color or such. Doesn't make them white. VERY moisturizing and long wearing. Must buy!

Best lip balm for me!
Amazon delivered this 8 pack of lip balm in no time and I am so happy! I have placed them all over the house and in my purse. My old lip balm that I have been using for 15 years or so stopped working, so I figured why not try one of my favorite brands Neutrogena. I was not disappointed. My lips are soft, smooth, lipstick ready and it lasts for a long time on my lips. I love the 15SPF a must for the hot summers!

Can't beat Neutrogena for "chapstick"
My lips chap very easily and I also get fever blisters from wind and sun exposure. I have tried practically every lip protection product out there. There is nothing better than Neutrogena. I prefer the older variety, but they don't seem to make it anymore. The "Norwegian Formula" is the replacement. Seems about as good so far, maybe a tiny bit waxier than the original but still better than most. The sun and wind protection seem to be just as great.

Works very well
Probably one of the best chapsticks I own. I wouldn't call it a miracle worker, but I do really love this stuff. Hard to open the tin sometimes, but I think you get more ounces in the tin than the stick.

Yes... the BEST lip balm on earth.
I personally love this lip balm. It's very natural, comfortable, smells wonderful, and I really like the tin. The tubes are sometimes more convenient, but the tins do have their benefits. It fits in your pocket a little more nicely. Plus, what's the deal with those tubes? Sometimes you open the cap and the product is SMASHED into the top after just hanging out in your pocket. You know what I'm talking about... It's a dreadful tragedy. Never happens with the tin. Also, there's the washer/dryer incidents. I find that accidentally washing a tube with my clothes results in a loss of all the beeswax. The tin actually hold it all in! Wash it all you want. Amazing. I know this from experience. It's easily my favorite lip balm - highly recommended.

Yay! It's the second best lip balm on Earth!
I LOVE this product. The Burt's Bees Beeswax lip balm in this little tin is perfectly formulated. It has all the natural ingredients necessary to keep your lips in wonderful shape (no chapping whatsoever with regular use) and has a nice herbal scent and a light taste, unlike many of the popular lip balms on the market. Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm is soft from the moment you the moment you open the tin, unlike some of the "adult" lip balms out there which contain a ton of paraffin wax, which drags on the lips and can make a chapped mouth scream for mercy. Until now, you had a choice, with both options seriously lacking. You could use a "kiddie" lip balm, which smelled and tasted of bubble gum (as an example) from 20 feet away. Or you could use the "adult" version, which had no lingering scent (which is good), but dragged across an already chapped lip, causing more damage than it prevented. One could also pick the option of no lip treatment at all, but here in the Northeast, that's asking for painful bleeding, chapped lips eight months of the year. Actually, I recommend several tubes, because the family members will steal (I meant "borrow forever without asking") your Burt's Bees the moment you aren't looking.

Amazing!
I was kinda hesitant to buy this one because I usually used the original one. But when I recieved this and tried it I was blown away. It stayed on my lips for a few hours which chapstick never does for me ! My lips were feeling itchy and irritated and this helped it calm the redness. All I can say is I love this stuff so much. I will definetly be reordering!

Best Lip Balm/Protectant Ever
Like others have stated in their reviews, I also have been using this for well over 10 years. No one else's lasts as long or can heal chapped lips as fast.
It goes on very easily and doesn't feel like you're trying to smear candle wax on your lips.....ok - not that bad, but there's a big difference.
I keep mine in one of my shorts, pants, or jeans pockets and body heat makes it even easier to apply.
Sometimes it is difficult to find. Years ago I ordered 12 from [...] and that lasted a long time. I didn't know till now that Amazon had it !
I'll be ordering another dozen from Amazon !

I haven't searched, so in case Amazon also sells Mentholatum Ointment (same type product as Vick's Vapo-rub).....If my lips gets so dry I get a hairline crack on one of them, a liberal amount of Mentholatum on my lips overnight Completely Heals the crack !

Having used the original product before, I got this more for summer time.
I found it not as thick as the original, a bit more creamy in application you might say.
I like the higher SPF and would recommend these fine products to anyone.
