Best Product for Lips
A great product, best in the market compared to other expensive treatments. Instant moisturising and results that last for hours. Addiction has happened can't use any other lip product.

Very disappointed
I was very disappointed in this lip treatment. My lips tend to be very dry and I am always looking for something new to try for that problem. This product actually made my lips even drier and redder. It feels great going on but after that it is downhill. I normally love the Olay Regenerist line of products and that is why I thought this was going to be great. Sorry to say, but the Anti Aging lip treatment just doesn't cut it.

Not a miracle, just a little good help
I am 41 years old. Recently I'd begun to notice that the little vertical creases around my upper lips were really starting to look deep and severe. My upper lip in general was looking thinner. I know some of this is hereditary - I remember my mom's lips looked just like this. But, like us all, I wondered if there was something I could do. I'm very skeptical of all the "anti-aging" wrinkle creams out there, but I've been happy with some other Olay products so figured I'd give this one a try.

I've been using this for about 2 weeks now and am really noticing a difference. I keep it in my purse and apply throughout the day, using as a regular lip balm / lip gloss (I don't wear lipstick). In terms of gloss, I like the way it looks - natural and moist rather than slick and shiny. It feels fine, similar to other lip balms, with just a tiny hint of tingle. I have been applying this on my lips and also just beyond the lipline as well. Those sharp lines around my lips have really softened - they haven't gone away, but they are softer and my upper lip looks a little more plump and natural than it did before, more like it did when I was younger. The lines are less noticeable due to the plumping of the lip itself and the softening of the lines along the edge.

I'm a believer in this product and will definitely continue to use it.

Terrible results
This product made my lips very dry and cracked. I usually use Burt's Bee balm to keep my lips hydrated. The Olay product not only didn't fill out any lines, but actually dried out my lips incredibly and made them crack. I would definitely NOT recommend this product to anyone.
I tried their skin and eye Regenerist lines and really like them. I was hoping this would work as the skin care line was highly rated by Consumer Reports, but alas, it didn't. It actually made things worse and at $6, a tube, I would save my money and buy three tubes of Burt's!

Never got it
Well I never got the item, but I was refunded the money without having to contact them.

Good but that doesnt justify the inflated price. I finally found a substitue: $3 Alba lip balm and I m very happy with it
I used Sugar lip balm for months, and it was the best I could find for my lips (I actually used to use rose - the pink one)...it is great, and was the first lip balm ever not have caused my lips to chap further after its gone. I put up with the $22 price tag. on top of that it doesnt last since its very creamy. for my it used to last a month or so. A friend told me about Alba ($3 or so) and I was skeptical since I ve been disappointed with the cheaper ones. however, to my amazement, I was so pleased that I decided to post reviews to help others - who are just like me desperately looking for the best value lip balm.

quite frankly, I would rate this a 5 star if it weren't for the price. a total rip off. especially for the colorless sugar lip balm. the rose has a beautiful sheen and natural color that that Alba doesnt have. however, I can use it sparingly and not a pay a $22 monthly "tax" as before.

OK, but not worth the price
I have to butt in and give a mediocre rating. I saw this in Sephora and just 'had' to get it because they said it was the best lip balm in existence. Well I had it on my mind for a month and then I broke down and got it. It smells and tastes fine, glides on smoothly, but I had mildly chapped lips initially and with this it took 2 days of constant application to soften them. And with just daily (maintenance) use I can't say I noticed any huge improvement in the moisture of my lips. It should have kept my lips moisturized between lunch and dinner at the least.

I'd give it a 3 or 4 star if it were just for the product quality, but the fact that it is so expensive I have to give it 2 stars. Don't waste your money.

Perfect for winter!
I was fortnate enough to receive this lipbalm as a gift so I didn't have to fork over the $22 price tag. I heard it was a great product and all the hype was actually correct. Initially the lemon scent was overwhelming and it was a bit annoying, within a day's use I got used to the smell. I apply this lip balm right before bedtime and in the morning, especially before I apply lipstick. It is very moisturizing and not heavy/greasy at all. Great for protecting the lips while snowboarding.

A luxury lip treatment (and almost a treat)
The scent of this light yellow, velvety balm is that of lemon sugar cookies. It glides smooth and clear on the lips. Although I didn't expect it to be flavored, I was slightly disappointed that it did not also taste like lemon sugar cookies. But if you do lick your lips as I do, you will detect a mild hint of something lemon-ey.

The packaging is sleek. I have to remind myself to unscrew the top, and not try to pop it off.

For me, lips stayed soft and hydrated for a few hours before re-applying. It contains SPF 15, which is a must-have for me.

Despite it being a good (and French!) beauty product, I found it to be a little over-priced. There are other lip balms in the market with comparable benefits for half the price of this Sugar lip treatment.

But if you can justify the price, I don't think you will be disappointed with this product.

guilty pleasures - great for the beach
Let's just start out by saying that I am not the sort of person who would typically spend over $20 on anything for my lips. I'm a bargain hunter through and through, but this Fresh Sugar lip treatment is my guilty pleasure. My lips stay protected and the protection lasts much longer than other lip balms. Also, is great for use under lipstick or gloss...really fills in any unevenness or wrinkles.

One last plus: I was first introduced to this stuff while staying with a friend who lives in Hawaii. Her selling point was the fact that your lips stay moist and protected from the elements, but sand (or anything else) doesn't stick to your lips as with some other sticky balms.

Best lip balm ever .... the only one that actually improved the texture of my lips even after it's gone...
this is the best lip balm I ever tried ....the only one that didn't leave my lips chapped after its gone. It also give a wonderful sheen and beautiful luxuruous subtle color (by the way I use the rose and the plum one not the plain one). t s amazing because that's the only lip balm ever that friends commented on lol.

the only problem is that it doesn't last long at all (for me it lasts about a month and half), and the price is super inflated!! I am sure that the mark up is huge for retailers since no matter how expensive the ingredients, $22 doesnt justify the price for such a small piece of stick!! I still buy it despite the price. however I will change it the minute I find a similar less expensive substitute.

Excellent moisturizer
This overly priced lip balm is an excellent moisturizer with a nice smooth application. The only downfall is the expensive price that is attached to this small 0.15oz product. If you have extra money to blow, purchase it. Otherwise, opt for something more economical.

Great!
I always seemed to have chapped lips until I started using Sugar by Fresh. This product is great! I am not a lipstick person and other chap stick type balms just needed to be constantly reapplied. Sugar, however, keeps my lips smooth all day long, even with just one application.

over priced
The lip treatment kinda smells nice and i like the metal tube it is in, other than that this product is over priced and doesn't last long on your lips at all. It even started to melt inside my purse. I think Vaseline or a tube of Burts Bees works better and only cost a few dollars.

Week later, VERY pleased
I am a runner and live in hot, humid Florida where my lips are constantly dry and chapped without a good lip product. I have been desperately trying to find a product to replace the recently discontinued Bare Essentials Soy Mocha SPF 15 Lip Balm that my lips loved.

Based on reviews, I bit the bullet and paid the $22 at Sephora and decided to give this a try as no other lip balm has even come close as comparing to the Soy Mocha one above. One week later, I am addicted. I apply 3-4 times a day/bedtime and in between, my lips are moisturized and soft. A little bit goes a long way. My lips are getting softer by the day and I am very pleased with the quality of the product. It lasts when I jog and working the ranch in the hot sun. The smell is heavenly and even my husband is not opposed to using it. The smell is similar to those lemon sugar candies that many of us loved as kids, lol. LIGHTLY scented. Overall, worth the $$ but I do feel that the price is too high for ANY lip balm however as nothing else has compared in quality, it's a price I will pay to have it. I keep one in backup so that I don't run out between a paycheck.

PROS:
* Works as described. Softens, protects and NON-drying.
* Outstanding scent. Lightly scented. No flavor.
* Non waxy, glides on.
* Long lasting. A little goes a long way.
* Nice container, smooth turning. Similar to high quality lipstick tubes.

CONS:
* Price. I for one think that $22 for lip balm is much too high. I try not to recommend this to everyone as many people can't afford the high $$ (nor can I but I rarely spoil myself so this is one product I've decided I can spoil myself with) I do recommend it to those who can afford it or are need something more, but the price really is off putting for most people's budgets. Definitely worth the price for *MY* needs so I will continue to buy.

The BEST for cold sores
I rarely write reviews but had to spend some time writing one for this product because it really works. I've suffered from cold sores since I was 10 years old and have tried seriously EVERYTHING but nothing works as well as this. You do have to put it on at the first sign (tingling and skin starts to turn red) I've been using it for a while now and so far if I put it on at the first sign the cold sore doesn't even get a chance to develop. I have one everywhere now so I can kick the cold sore in the butt before it starts. Definitely a must have if you get cold sores.
